Please use the following format: Major Characters Username:Character name:Race: In general, this refers to species, although some may wish to mention the heritage or nationality of their character. Example: Human, Canadian. Gender: Male, female, or neuter? Age: Earth years, please. Occupation: Student 9-12, or Teacher? What classes do you teach? Personality: Is your character cynical? Naive? Introverted, or gossipy? History: I personally don't care for writing out a character's history, although a backstory is important. Other roleplayers need to see where your character is coming from, or why they act the way they do. Also, if your character happens to be the descendant of a god or mad scientist or had an accident that gave them powers, now would be the time to tell us. Powers: What is your character's special ability? Strengths: What is your character good at? It not the same as Power. For example, your character could be a fire-breathing harpy with incredible accuracy or hand-eye coordination. Weaknesses: Easy enough. What is your character not good at? Social situations? Operating under stress? Is your character lacking in speed, or do thay have an allergy or phobia? Appearance: A picture is worth a thousand words, although I've seen descriptions that could outdo da Vinci anyday. Extra:Any tidbits of information that don't fit anywhere else. Example: One of my favorite characters is a mermaid. But, fish lay eggs, so this mermaid doesn't have any mammalian organs, nor a belly button. She also had a shortened lifespan as well as a sailor's mouth. For minor characters, those you won't use often and won't make as big a dent in the story, you don't have to go into as much detail. Username: Mitsuki10191 Character Name: Atara Strongback (Native American) Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 16 Occupation: 2nd Year Student Personality: Atara isn't afraid to tell you what she thinks, and her motto is 'the blunter the better'. She despises the classroom with a passion, and loves the outdoors. She has a thing for animals, and tends to hang out with them more than actual humans. But even if she's a little (a lot) rough around the edges, she actually does have a decent sense of right and wrong. History: 100% Native American, Atara believes strongly in the spirits of the forest, and was raised on a reservation. She was allowed to run wild through the forests, climbing trees and building shelters from sticks and mud. When she turned fifteen, she was sent to The Tower to learn to hone her gift, though she'd much rather be back home in the States, where there were others like her. They didn't have to go to some stupid school...Except Chavez. Ha. Powers: Atara can talk to animals, as well as plants, and basically every living thing. Strengths: If it involves the outdoors, or wilderness survival, Atara's the person to go to. Weaknesses: She has absolutely zero tolerance for textbooks, desks, and lined paper. Last year at the end of the school year, she burned it all in a ceremonial bonfire. It kept her smiling for days... Appearance:  Extra: Formality is definitely not her middle name. More often than not, she's running around barefoot and barely decent. It tends to amuse rather than offend most people, though they don't get it. But when he does settle, he prefers that it's not outside, with all the bugs and wildlife. He's a flirt, and makes promises easily. He tends to hurt people without meaning to, and is often quick to regret the things he says. History: Born and raised on the same reservation as Atara, he was born a werewolf. However, he rejected his powers, locked it deep inside him, unwilling to be part of the outside world that was full of so many risks. He was, however, intrigued with the little Strongback girl, who seemed so fascinated by everything he rejected. She was one of the few who knew what he really is, and he feels he owes her for keeping his secret. So, though she despises him, and with good reason, he followed her to The Tower, on the premise of studying. In reality, he's just there to make sure she doesn't go and get herself killed. Powers: He's a werewolf. He does werewolf things. Strengths: Though he doesn't get out much, his time spent with weights has given him some pretty impressive body strength, so he uses that to his advantage. Weaknesses: He just can't say no to a pretty face...Except Atara's. Appearance:  Extra: He gets jealous easily when it comes to things he considers his...like Atara. Though she'd kill him if she knew that's what was going through his mind. Username: Misuki10191 Character Name: Pierce Lawless Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 18 Occupation: 4th Year student Personality: He can't stand doing nothing, and loves being in the forest, up in the trees where no one else can see him. Once he sets his sights on something, he doesn't quit until he has it. History: Living up to his name, Pierce doesn't follow anyone's rules, but does as he pleases, when he pleases. He spent his life being trained with various weapons, and learned all about stealth and warfare. Now he's been sent to a school he detests to learn about more than weaponry. Powers: He can sense auras, ideal for battle with multiple opponents. Strengths: He's stubborn almost to a fault, and is an expert tracker. Weaknesses: His personality often turns others away. Appearance:  Extra: His purple eyes give him an air of mystery that makes him seem more strange than he really is.

Occupation: New Headmistress/Teacher at the Tower. She teaches advanced physics and magical theory.

Deena dresses in all white, the same color as her hair; her hair is cropped short, somewhat styled into a pixie cut so that she is barely able to see it. She wears Pince-Nez ( http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mOsqmOB4z3s/Rq831Mh2r5I/AAAAAAAABCs/b1coZxDgDVE/s400/pincenez.JPG ) glasses, which she has the habit of pushing up with her middle finger. Her eyes are a cloudy hazel and, at first glance, one might mistake her for blind. Her features are quite serious, and she seldom shows much emotion beyond on intellectual curiosity. Around her neck hangs an ancient pendant with a teardrop shaped diamond in the center.
She has a very full figure, which she tries to hide with her clothes. She wears a long white trench coat that somewhat hides her frame. She wears a single white glove, the other hand's nails painted white. She wears long white pants and white sensible shoes. Personality: At the surface, Deena can seem like an emotionless scientist with about as much emotion and personality as a grapefruit. While she is a very serious person, and is seldom seen with a smile (and some say that a smile usually precedes something terrible happening), and no one has ever so much as seen her chuckle. However, she is quite difficult to anger or upset at the same time. She has a tendency to slip into "Geek Speak," but will usually flip back to re-explain in simpler terms.
Beneath the surface she is a caring person, despite being able to make the "tough" decisions. She avoids putting the whole of her energy in any single project, not wanting to waste to much of it if it turns out the project is a failure. One of her main quirks is she will quickly grow annoyed if asked the same question repeatedly.
History: Deena was born and raised in a small town known as Everwood. Everwood was built on a nexus of four magical lei lines hundreds of years ago. Deena grew up with a significant amount of magical power, but she did not realize this until she stumbled across a deck of mystic tarot cards, using them to unleash her full power. Using her powers and intelligence she taught herself to control the cards and her own emerging powers.
The lei lines that intersected beneath the town attracted a number of powerful entities to Everwood, not all of them exactly good. "The Nexus," as the intersecting point was called, was located under the city's abandoned library. The library itself was essentially a magical fortress, its basement anyway, to keep anything from entering that wasn't supposed to. Deena found the three gems of "the Soul" (one of the town's founders), taking the diamond to augment her own abilities, inside the fortress. Using her magical talents, she used the nexus itself to fuel a five layer barrier that could withstand the magical equivalent of an atomic blast.
After leaving Everwood, she traveled to Europe, once more learning to control the flows of power that came with the Diamond. She also started studying more of the sciences; particularly physics, biology, and chemistry. She came across the Rapier in a market in Romania, and she purchased it after feeling some power coming from the object. She took some time, stopping by and teaching at four of the main academies of magic before being offered the position at The Tower.
Powers: Deena's powers fall into four categories. Those she has naturally, those she gets from the rapier, those she gets from the cards, and those she gets from the diamond.
Her natural ability comes in the form of bursts of magical energy she can focus into different forms. She can form something simple, like a shield of energy or a burst of energy equivalent to a gunshot. She can also form more complicated shapes like a blade or image, but she seldom does so.
The rapier, mostly, is a conduit of her powers. Using her natural powers, she can focus a shot of energy with sniper-like accuracy and deadliness. She can use her energy to increase the length of the blade, or something similar.
The cards are a very different story. It took me a month to come up with all the different powers of said cards. One for upright and one for reverse for every card of the major arcana. Plus, a short bio of the demons sealed within the cards. If you're desperate for it, I can email it to you. If not, just trust what I say they do.
The diamond is the most powerful of her artifacts, augmenting her abilities to the point where her self-imposed "safety limits" shatter. Most of the time, her powers cut themselves off, unable to 'charge' the attack up past a certain point. With the diamond, she could fire all her energy, charged with the powers of the diamond, into one shot.Using the diamond can be dangerous for her because she can run out of energy very quickly. The diamond can also grants her a limited level of telepathy with someone she is close to. She has also enhanced it to be able to "scan" something so she can look at it again later, along with a few other minor augmentations.

Personality: Smart, albeit being a bit on the geeky side. She doesn't like to be bossed around, and has a tendency to break rules if she finds them frivolous and unnecessary.
History: Courtney was born in London, England and has lived there most of her life. She lives in a small flat with her father, and occasionally visits her mother. Courtney has always been rather studious, and a loves alchemy. She left home to attend the Tower to focus on her alchemical studies.
Powers: A strong spell caster with an even stronger scientific mind.
Strengths: Her intellect, and her innate affinity for alchemy/spell weaving.
Weaknesses: Can be a bit absent-minded, and has a tendency to get lost in her books.

Personality:
Vindictitive. Van Russel hates to be crossed, and he'll make sure you'll pay in whatever small way he can. Other than that though, he's a pretty cool guy. He likes to read, especially about mythology and history. One day, he'd like to be a cultural anthropologist. Because of his powers, Van Russel is a bit of a - no, a LOT of a cheater. He works small scale though. He knows the limits of what he can do with his Fortune.
History:
What history? It's a big gaping hole. Not that he doesn't have one, of course, it's just that all records of his past before the Tower tend to vanish at some point. It doesn't help that there are parts of his life that he just plain cannot remember. He doesn't know who his parents are, or anything about his family or where he grew up - except that there were a lot of clouds. He's come to interpret this as "somewhere mountainous". There are no marks on his body that indicate any sort of 'tragic accident' or abuse, and there's nothing that indicates a memory-wiping spell (which means it might have been a very clean job, or there's simply nothing to remember).
Powers:
He's an Agent of Fortune in training. He needs to work on strengthening his powers, but for the most part, he's pretty good at controlling small bits of fortune, especially directly affecting himself and others close by. Van Russel's not good enough to make you have a shitty day (yet), but he can make the fire alarm glitch and go off, get the doorknob to stick, and time one or two traffic lights to make you late for work. Ill will is his specialty.
Strengths:
Good things happen to Van Russel often. Oftentimes, it's his powers subconsciously at work.
Weaknesses:
At the same time, because of the good luck attracted towards him, that tends to 'steal' good luck from others, meaning bad things happen to people standing next to him. Also, he is a sucker for pretty ladies.

He usually goes by both his first and middle name, Van Russel. He doesn't mind too much if others insist on calling him Van, or Russel, or even just Russo, but Van Russel is what he prefers. Also, he's mildly obsessed with cats.

Username biggrin emons_new_disguise Character name: Melody S. Atrum Race: Human, American. Gender:Female Age: 17 Occupation: Student, grade 11 Personality: Melody is kind to a fault, and would do just about anything to make someone else smile. There is a high sense of naivety about her, as if she's simply incapable of seeing the bad in other people...even as they are hurting her. However, she doesn't really seem to think much of herself and is childishly sure that she probably deserves the bad things that happen to her. Still, she manages a high sense of optimism and tries to make the best of everything. Still, she's easily flustered, althoug, any and all sexual innuendos seem to fly right over her head. Mellody is almost always appologising for something. History: Melody was raised by and abusive uncle along with her little brother after her parents died in a tragic fire. She allowed the man to beat and belittle her to protect her young sibling. Melody wears a lot of physical and mental scars because of this. Powers: Melody is a seer and a channel. Occasionally, she will enter into a trace like state and will predict major events that are to come, (Although she never remembers them after.) She can also channel the abilities of other beings through her body. This includes Humans with strong abilities, Gods, incorporeal beings, and the like. Because of this, she is very easily possessed. Strengths: Reading, cooking (especially candies), and surprisingly, fighting with bladed weapons. Weaknesses: She's awkward and shy in social situations, and becomes very clumsy when she's nervous. If she becomes too flustered she will often run away. Is easily possessed due to her powers as a channel. Appearance: Melody; Her hair is chocolate brown, and her eyes are a dark amber. Extra: Melody is an avid bookworm, and loves nothing more then to curl up with a good book and`a cup of warm herbal tea. However, she has an odd hobby besides this that no one really expects from a girl like her. Melody collects swords and daggers, and is especially fond of ones with an interesting history. Being a practical person, she doesn't like to own anything that she doesn't know how to use, so Melody has acquired such skills...not that she would ever use them against anyone else!

Username: Secret Kirari Character name: Eli Raymond Anthonys (Some call him Era) Race: Human, Canadian. Well, he thinks he’s human, anyway. Gender: Male Age: 29 (soon to be thirty) Occupation: Teacher of Alchemy Personality: Almost always calm, patient, and approachable. He is terrifying when he’s angry—truly angry—because it is so out of place. He is touchy about some subjects, and will try to turn conversation in a different direction when they’re brought up. History: He was brought up in a small town in Canada by very normal parents. However, when he started to display his powers, his parents were… scared seems the right word to use. He was allowed to attend a magic school to train himself so that he would be able to control his abilities. He wasn’t supposed to dabble in anything but that, though he did manage to learn alchemy without their knowledge. His parents died in the war that devastated North America five years ago. He was distraught, but he hadn’t talked with them much since he was about sixteen. He moved to Hungary and became a citizen at nineteen, and got his job at the Tower when he was twenty-two. He has been working there ever since, and has proved to be a very efficient teacher. He’s well-liked for the most part. Powers: Alchemy, obviously. A master of the lesser-known powers over summoning up extinct animals, plants, bugs, bacteria—one at a time for large things such as a T-Rex, but many at a time for smaller things like bugs, if he wishes to maintain control of them. Strengths: Alchemy, getting things for cheap, and historical knowledge (especially considering historical life) Weaknesses: Normal magic, good sales, and his bookaholic nature Appearance:  Extra: He’s not as much of a people person as he seems when you get to know him. He generally wears very unobtrusive clothes that often look very worn; he wears the life out of his clothes, in part due to his frugality.

Username: The 0ld 0ne Character name: Zero. (No last, nor middle name.) Race: Ancient, the Second or Third being that Chaos made. Gender: Male. Age: Birth of the Universe. (Sorry, not sure how long ago that was, exactly. Occupation: Teacher. Advanced Magicks (Of any kind), Thaumaturgy, Evocation, Mystical Biology, and Creatures 101. Personality: Incredibly kind. He is also chivalrous to the extreme, easygoing, unless the situation warrants otherwise. History: Zero is an Ancient, 0ld 0ne, whatever you wish to call them. He was the Second or Third born from Chaos, he is never truly sure. He is part Incarnation of Magicks, and Fighting. (A.K.A, He's a beastly dueler.) Throughout his entire life-which is insanely long-he has been treated poorly, taken advantage of by his fellow Ancients, despite the fact he is most likely the most powerful. His kindness forces him to not take revenge on anyone who has harmed him. Although, as of late, he's finding that he isn't too fond of this world anymore. He prefers his 3 dimensions, Pandora, Peve, and Kyron. This world is falling ill. A world where most everyone has forgotten the ancient ways of Magic. Forgotten Zero. Powers: Master of all things Magic. He also has a knack for creating life, as he is a "Deity" of 3 dimensions. Strengths: Zero is very good at reading people, and finding ways into their hearts. Weaknesses: His heart. Not literally, but figuratively. His emotions are his main weak point. Should someone find a way into his heart, then it would be no trouble crushing him. It's happened enough to make him ready to give up. Appearance: Extremely tall, standing at 7'7", with Silver hair and Silver eyes that have purple sparks running through them. Not sparks of color, but actual SPARKS running around in his eyes. His perfect silver hair falls down just to his eyes, covering bits and parts of it.(The picture is the closest thing I could find to the old one.. Zero's attire is shown on my Avatar. Down to the shoes.)    Extra: Zero cannot truly get drunk. Alcohol doesn't affect his system. And, he love to use an Air Slice to cut cigarettes in half if someone is smoking near him.

Occupation: Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy Personality: Generally more serious than her fellow gods, and not one to trifle with. However, if you become favored by her, she can be fun and kind. History: Check Wikipedia for details, though I don’t follow strictly to the book. In 5SM terms, she’s just another Goddess. She is on a mission from her father, Zeus, to help safeguard the Items—it is a similar mission to the one that Ares has in Bai Ching, but she has been sent to a different school to guard a different Relic. She’s currently in disguise at the Tower, playing the role of a librarian and Chess Club sposor/mentor. Powers: She can make certain all odds are in favor of a plan, however risky it is. She can also do the opposite, as well as turn into and communicate with owls. She can disappear and reappear at will—both invisibility and teleportation. Strengths: Planning, compromise, riddles. Weaknesses: Dislikes fighting, and often has a bit of a temper despite her wisdom. Appearance: Athena, in a more Modern settingExtra: None at this point.

Username: Cuwen Character name: BayaRose (Bay-uh-rose) Race: Shapeshifter Gender: Female Age: 16 Occupation: Forest dweller Personality: If a person's picture could be in a dictionary, Rose's would be under the word 'curiosity'. She is so inquisitive and wants to learn about everything she can. She's a sweetheart, but she can sometimes piss people off by being too curious. History: Rose has lived in the forest that surrounds the tower since she was born. She is very smart about general knowledge, even though she has never been to an official school. Her tribe of shapeshifters has taught her everything she knows. She is so curious about the school in the middle of the forest and is actually interested in joining, but she's afraid that she would be turned away due to her inexperience in an official school setting. Powers: Shapeshifting is her power, although the people in her tribe are masters at alchemy, both on themselves and their surroundings. They can change just about anything into completely different objects. Rose can only change herself. Strengths: Being as that she has grown up in a forest and the fact that she is a shapeshifter make her great at being stealthy. She can sneak in almost anywhere undetected. Weaknesses: Confidence. Rose is very poor at having confidence in herself because she thinks that she is not smart enough or as worthy as the other students are in the school simply because she has never been to an official school. Appearance:  Extra: Her favorite form to transfer into is a fox because it's fast, small, can hide almost anywhere, and is so damn cute! Except... she only seems to be able to transform into a white fox with gray ears and tail, nothing brown or red that would blend into the forest better. Username: rionkybikun Character name: Nihal Vio Lolin Race: Bee Bird Gender: Female mostly (Depends on circumstances at the hive) Age: 17 Occupation: Student 11th Personality: Blunt and assertive, Vio won't let a wrong go or let anyone tell her what she should be and what to do. She will only obey if the reason is valid or is from her Queen. If commanded against the core of her nature, she will fight back. Cynical at times, making friends is difficult but she does not mind solitude. History: In one of the dense forests of Vietnam, there is a colony of bee birds hidden away from human eyes. Each has their role. When mating season comes round, the full female staff shift and become equiped with male parts. It lasts for a short time and only mature bee birds reach this stage. Being one of the youngest, Vio is placed as a scout. One of the scouting trips turned for the worst. To suffice to say, Vio had been captured, saved, and now attends the Tower. Powers: Control vibration and elecricity Strengths: Can clean off an entire cow in an hour. Has sharp fangs and claws that can rip flesh and break bones. Weaknesses: Dislikes fire, and is not exactly a good alchemist or planner. Appearance:  Extra: Likes egg shells and flowers. Without her hive and Queen, Vio is more roguish than most bee birds are. Authority has to earn respect or else she won't listen. In extreme cases, she'll get violent. Her nickname was given because of that volitile nature: Violent. But it is pronounced Vee-oh. Username: Giant_Psychic_Swan Character name: Nene Yuley Race: Fallen Angel Gender: Female Age: 17 Occupation: 3rd year Student Personality: Cynical, she won't hesitate to cut you down if you cross her path. She hates anything that is overly bright or sunny, for it reminds her of the time in the Heavens. History: Nene lived in the Heavens for three centuries. She served the Gods and Goddesses like the good soldier that she was. Though, on occasion, she would take rouge trips to Earth and alter reality. She was always a cynical being, and that was essentially her downfall. When Hera found out that her angel was doing such things, she banished her from the Heavens and bound her to the living world for the rest of eternity. Nene now loathes anything related to the Gods/Goddesses, and curses their names. Powers: She had a blessed sword while in the Heavens, but now it has somehow become bewitched. She can levitate above the ground, but can't carry anyone else whilst doing it. Strengths: She is one of the best swordsmen of all time. Her skills with a blade are incredible. She can also manipulate someone's thoughts to alter them into what she wants them to be. Weaknesses: She isn't very social. She hates humans, but also loathes the Higher Beings. She seems to only get along with herself and her sword. Appearance:  Extra: n/a

Username: Natsa Character name: Orion Elliot Mikazuki Race: Shapeshifter. Gender: Male. Age: Eighteen Occupation: Third year student. Personality: Quiet. Orion is a typical loner, and prefers to avoid social activies. He's easily annoyed and aggravated, but he does his best to not let others get to him, and anyone who's met him can clearly tell he feels out of place. History: He doesn't remember much about his personal family, over the years of mooching off others as a 'family pet' he has forgotten many of the faces he has crossed paths with; most leaving bad impressions of others. Orion has abandonment issues, he assumes that if he doesn't involve himself with anyone he figures he wouldn't have anymore issues; but often his eyes tell what his actions do not. Powers: Shapeshifting of course, his strength also increases once he's in his shapeshifted forms. He also has this ability to "blink" or teleport a short distance away. Strengths: He is good at dodging and offensive abilities, and getting away from things he can't handle or doesn't want to deal with with "Blinking" Weaknesses: Socializing, Social gathering, he's extremely vulnerable to people who like to push peoples buttons. Appearance:  Extra: He has "issues" someone may say he's a "psycho" with how he acts in public, being multiple animals he often hears them as in 'voices in the head.' Orion often finds himself fighting to focus, the one who speaks to him most is the Viper, with clear ill intentions. Sometimes he has trouble differientiating himself from the animals, he has been a variety of animals for at least half his life, they now each have their own personality which resides within his mind.
