KayaRider Name: Kaya Rider Age: 19 Rider Gender: Female Rider Sexuality: Bisexual Rider History: Kaya's mother died during childbirth and her father had to take care of her. Having heard many stories of her mother from her Father, Kaya wanted to try and be like her. Her father had told her that her mother had been strong, young, and beautiful just like she was. She had also been a Sr. Journeywoman in BakerCraft and had made the most wonderful meals. When she turned ten she followed in her mother's footsteps and became an apprentice at BakerCraft. She had tried Pastries first but her first few had failed miserably. She then tried Entrees and felt that she had a lot more freedom with her cooking and enjoyed it much more. Rider Personality: Kaya has always been a stubborn woman and will always stand up for what she believes in. She does, however, get sidetracked relatively easily but somehow manges to make it back on track. Kaya tries to put on something of a tough exterior, feeling that in the current state the world is in it could be dangerous not to. This has made it harder for her to find friends but when she does she stays loyal to them and has a kind heart. She is still young and makes mistakes but is willing to admit them. She can also become a little impatient at times. Kaya also enjoys some gossip when she can get the chance and can tend to ramble on. Some may find this annoying. Rider Appearance: Kaya is 5'6, light brunette hair, long hair usually braided down her back. She also has hazel-green eyes and manages to keep in shape despite all of her cooking.

Rumath's Song: At your SideBy the Corrs Rumath Dragon Name: Rumath Dragon Color: Blue Dragon Appearance: HereDragon Personality: Rumath is generally very gently natured and kind. He reflects what Kaya is underneath her tough exterior. Rumath hardly ever raises his voice and very rarely gets angry. This, however, does not mean that won't or can't fight. If Kaya or someone they loved were threatened he wouldn't hesitate in protecting them or himself. Rumath also enjoys a sense of humor and loves joking and playing around with Kaya. He often teases her and tells her that the only reason he impressed with her is for her wonderful cooking. Why did this dragon choose this rider?: When Rumath first saw Kaya he had known she was the one he wanted to Impress with. Many of the other riders had seemed to fake for him. Some were tried to be what others wanted them to be. While others cared only about their looks or themselves. Rumath had never been vain and did not want such a trait in a rider. Kaya, however, was plain but still beautiful just as she was. He knew she acted tough to survive but could tell she had a kind a heart and soul. He could also sense humor. There was no way he could chose anyone without a sense of humor. He could also smell the wonderful aroma that stuck in her clothing from her cooking. A Little Extra: Rumath is a bit smaller than the average blue dragon but is quite a bit faster. However, his stamina is a little lower because of this. Therefor, he is likely to be faster than the average blue dragon and win in a short race, but in a long distance race he would tire a bit faster.

Anything Extra I may need Dragonriders of Pern Shop Wing Assignments This message is an announcement to alert people of the wings their new Telgar custom dragons are in as of now. Remember, there are NPC riders all over the place, so it should be understood by characters IC they are not the only wing/wingriders. However, for the sake of allowing people to RP with each other instead of a bunch of invisible people, we are stuffing all the "existing" riders together.
Veteran Telgar riders will be assumed to have been in a different wing and are now being moved. New transfer riders have had no other Telgar wing prior to this.
IC, this is decide by D'rak, the Weyrleader, by random lots he picked out of a hat. He will tell them, however, that he picked them based off of their IC skill set. There would have been an IC announcement, but it was given off-screen. Riders who don't like their wing assignment are free to set up an appointment to try and get transferred. OOC, however, will hold no influence on transfers.
Wingriders may be transferred again or promoted (or perhaps demoted) at any time based on their IC actions. (NPCs, too!)
If you have any further questions, just ask.
Riders not placed in a wing Foalen's custom L'pin of Blue Shamth
Rakyth's Wing Wingleader: I'dan of Bronze Rakyth (NPC) Wingsecond: U'rad of Brown Mornanth (NPC) Wingriders: C'zha of Bronze Enbrieth G'ind of Blue Vorath Tethis of Blue Feylith D'iant of Green Tinnuth
Angath's Wing Wingleader: T'pan of Bronze Angath (NPC) Wingsecond: S'bir of Brown Worveroth (NPC) Wingriders: M'ak of Brown Kassieth A'gen of Brown Soeteth Kaya and Blue Rumath T'ren of Green Chaveth
Things to Assume OOC:
Because it's not practical to expect everyone can find time to RP every single IC wing practice, things need to be assumed OOC to have happened. These things are as follows:
For both wings:
- Practice is at least once a day (relatively short) and it will be taken very seriously. It includes drills, verbal lessons and mental preparation.
- All dragons are expected to behave, pay attention and do their best.
- Ill-behaved dragons and their riders will be assigned extra chores by their Wingleader. Telgar still suffers from a shortage of dragons and thus they require everyone to be on the same page. Troublemakers will be given so much work that they would not have the time nor the energy to cause any more trouble.
- Extra training of female riders to ensure their success is considered normal behaviour.
For Rakyth's wing:
- I'dan expects diligence from his riders, but does not require their complete obedience. He is happy to listen to their concerns and their ideas for wing drills, and will stick up for his Wingriders (provided that they work hard for him). Female bluerider Tethis will find him to be quite open-minded compared to most Telgar folk, though this may be because he treats her like she's one of his guys. Expect some manly arm slaps after wing drills.
- U'rad is very easy to piss off, and the first to run at the mouth if someone makes a mistake. Though he has a good eye for things that need improvement, it's a very critical one, and his verbal blows often have to be softened by I'dan. Both he and his brown Mornanth come to drills expecting to work, and do not like drill time being interrupted. If I'dan invites his riders to a drink in the dining hall, U'rad rarely if ever accepts his invitations. Essentially, expect to only see U'rad at work.
- I'dan is one of the favoured candidates to be the next Weyrleader. Whether your character supports him is entirely up to you.
For Angath's wing:
- While some male riders may choose to ignore female riders, T'pan seems to devote all his attention to them. He can frequently be seen flirting with the female greenriders in his wing (currently NPCs) and helps get the newly made female riders "up to speed" with the rest of the Weyr. Female bluerider Kaya should expect a fair share of attention from him, though often T'pan will remark to other people that it's a shame she Impressed a blue and not a green. As for the male riders, T'pan will favour those who put as much time into their appearance as he does, regardless of their dragon's colour.
- T'pan believes in letting riders sort out their own problems, and will only intercede if he believes it will reflect badly on him. His advice tends to be limited to relationships and lover's quarrels, so don't expect to get much use out of him.
- Greenriders and blueriders best watch out for S'bir. Both he and his brown Worveroth have a reputation for bullying, and they expect non-metallic riders to work extremely hard. Leaving the female riders to T'pan, S'bir focuses all of his attention to those male riders who he considers "weak" and drills them harder than ever. If he can be the epitome of strength with his body-builder's physique than why shouldn't the rest of his wing?
- If any rider's green has Risen, they can expect to have seen Worveroth in the chasing pack. (If you would like to set up a past experience with S'bir/Worveroth in which they caught your rider's green, just shoot Chibi a PM)
- T'pan is one of the favoured candidates to be the next Weyrleader. Whether your character supports him is entirely up to you.
