Ok, I am a huge fan of Harry Potter. I think it's the best book series that ever hit the shelves.
Anyway, I came across this one day, and it made me so mad! It also make me realize how stupid Twi-tards are.

These are pretty one-sided and opinionated. Look at the first one: Stupid Twitard Because the books and movie NEVER get old, and Harry gets old after the first time of reading/watching it. Plus Twilight has actually good looking people. The plot is a rehash.

Twilight Dipwad #7 Twilight is sooo much better than Harry Potter, in Twilight there's werewolves, vampires, romance and action just like harry potter. And when you read the twilight series its a series you can put down, you know, cause it's boring. The HP books would keep you up, too exciting. That's why Twilight is waaay better than Harry Potter. Ok...Wait....
So...Lemme get this straight; Twilight is better...Because it's a book you CAN put down and is boring...But the Harry Potter books would keep you up because of how exciting they are?
Am I the only one who's lost on this one?! This one either needs to grow a brain and common sense, or an ability to actually write correctly...or both.
I'm not even gonna read all that. It's probably all just "twilite is awsumerer cuz its got sexy beautiful peoplez and twu wuv!!!!111!eleven
I've seen it all before in the ED anyway. Nevermind that a bunch of these particular Twitards admit they've not read Harry Potter in the first place. I love how the one of them said that the Twilight characters "don't need a twig to have magical powers..." UM, DUH, There's such a thing in HP as the ability to do WANDLESS MAGIC.
Anyway...Harry Potter kicks Twilight's a** into next century, there's no debate about that. Better writing, better plot, better characters, better monsters and villains, and for god's sake, better romances!! And that's only a SUB-Plot!

Quote: Because Twilight is more romantic and has a better story.....but Harry Potter is just for kids and it `s great .....but it `s not that romantic. And Twilight is like feeling that your there.....GO TWILIGHT So you're saying that a book filled with death, tragedy, and logic is for kids? *face palm* Wow... just... fail. Plus, Harry Potter has TONS of romance! There's the whole thing between Harry and Cho that goes on for about 3 books, then there's Harry and Ginny, Ron and Lavender, Ron and Hermione, and of course Hermione and Cedric. You just don't see so much of the relationships because they're SIDE PLOTS.

What's funny is that they all talk about how there's no romance and love! Love is like one of the major themes of HP!!! Also: Quote: Twilight is so much better because it's real, at least it could be real. Harry Potter is just about some teenage kids who desperately need to grow up. Also there is no love in HP, Twilight is like the modern romeo & juliet, because if anyone has read romeo & juliet you would see how similar the mindless obsession is. That's why its better to my pathetically weak brain! But wow! My spelling, grammar and punctuation just improved dramatically, so maybe I'm now ready to appreciate some Harry Potter books! Twilight is just about as real as a talking unicorn! Honestly, Twi-tards are sooooo retarded.

Quote: Reason Twilight is better: Because in a fight between Edward and Harry, Edward would win. Harry would Avada-Kedavra Edwards a** all over the place!!!! Quote: Because even though Hermione seems like a great character and all, Bella is more real. How many of us could actually defend ourselves against rapists? Bella is easier to relate to because she really couldnt like most people, that dosent make her 'helpless' or 'submissive'. BELLA DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!! SHE STOOD THERE LIKE AN IDIOT AND STUPID a** EDWARD HAS TO COME SAVE HER!!!! DUMB a**!!!! Quote: Because face it baseball is much more popular then quiditch, because peoplecan actually play baseball 1: There is a thing called using your imagination. 2: People all over the world have learned to play Quidditch without magic! WE DON'T NEED YOU STUPID VAMPIRES!!!! scream

That's why its better to my pathetically weak brain! But wow! My spelling, grammar and punctuation just improved dramatically, so maybe I'm now ready to appreciate some Harry Potter books! Pfft. I'm so tired of Twilight being compared to Romeo and Juliet. And Twilight 'could' be real? No. Sparkling vampires who stalk mindless chicks but don't kill them? I don't think that could even be close to real. Not the romance, vampires, or the obsessed girl (actually... should could happen, with the number of Twitards, it's very possible for that). HP characters have actual development through the whole series, while in Twilight, the characters stay the same old boring thing. #53 Quote: i believe both the twilight series and harry potter series are excellent and are worthy enough of being read. they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. some of harry potter's strengths include being well written and very attentive to detail. while its weaknesses include a multiple occurence of plot runaround. twilight, while not of the same caliber of writing as harry potter, is well written enough to stimulate the mind and entice the reader's emotions. its characters are ,across the board, very likeable and the romance between Edward and Bella is on par of that of Romeo and Juliet's desperate devotion and very unhealthy love. to each other. to those who are disturbed by bella and edward's story need to remeber that this is FICTION. as in most fantasy fiction novels, reality is heightened in book . you are not supposed to literally think that a guy like Edward REALLY EXISTS out there for you. he is a fantasy character as even his species, a vampire, does not exist in the real world. he is a creature of pure imagination who is helplessly devoted to his beloved Bella to the point of obsession. what hooks the reader is the danger aspect of it as he can literally kill her at anytime, but his love for her conquers the evil inside. harry potter does not contain this aspect which is why i like Twilight better. it does not mean that twilight is a better series, but that I enjoyed the experience of reading twilight more. o_x I kind of don't think they're horribly stupid. They had one of the better answers. Most of the ones on there seem to talk about romance, reality, and hot characters. That or Harry Potter was too hard for them to read (in which I appreciated their honesty).

Friied Cheekan Oh, gee! D: They are kinda right about how Harry gets old after watching it once... -barfs- Depends who's reading it. I loved the books and I reread them occasionally. I love the feeling of nostalgia I get from the first book after having finished the series. Same goes for the movies, even though the movies haven't finished yet.

It said Harry Potter has no love, the person who said that cant notice hints, or hasnt read the book. There are Harry and Ginny moments, Harry and Hermione moments, and Hermione and Ron moments. So the love story reasons are irrelavant. But still I think some of those are funny if you pick out the problems.
