Hey folks! Do you role play? If so, mainly on Gaia in either the forums or designated guilds? Have you noticed that ever since Twilight infected this website there has been abundance of female characters with strong 'Bella' qualities to them?
If so I can say I feel your pain after trying to get a decent board together for MONTHS. It seems like no matter which genre I use or how complex I make my plot there is ALWAYS some 'average girl with a heart of gold' or a heart faced 17 year old who does nothing but trip over random objects waiting for someone to save her. And quite frankly 45% of the people who join my board name their character Bella, Isabella or some other horribly mutated spelling of the two names. It sickens me, and saddens me.
I won't even touch Vampire role plays even more and I fear after New Moon it will only get worse. -_-

I like to Godmod and troll when that heppens. When one godmods in a Twilight Rp and is called for it, you could call bullcrap on the vampire Mary-Sue bull in the franchise.
Go through a Twilight RP and troll as a vampire hunter.

That's why I never RP here. I do RP, just never here.
I'm glad to say the characters I RP as are not clumsy or named Bella. In fact, one of my female OCs I RP with is very persistent, has a tendency to get hot-headed, and has a weakness for sandwiches.
And what KingJack said, that's not a bad idea. Trolling an RP like that should most definitely work. You may get flamed, but it's all for good fun, isn't it?

I own an RP Guild for I book series I like. In the rules, I specifically(sp?) said no Mary Sues. But only one or two people in the guild like twilight, that's it. They aren't Twitards. Nobody has any twilight related names at all. My guild: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/?guild_id=248483

Aah, Barton Town has long since gone down the tubes. Except, now, instead of " MASTER SLAVE RP " " HAUNTED MANSION RP " and " WOLFABOO RP ", it's " MASTER SLAVE RP " "HAUNTED MANSION RP " " WOLFABOO RP " and " TWILIGHT RP ".
And I'm a dyin' for a good, literate shoujo ai rp. gonk

That's part of the reason I hardly roleplay anymore. The other half is that it consumes every second of your life. Till it dies of course, which usually isn't very long with people like that.
