Not all evolution and changes in society are for the better. Case in point; the vampire in literature/ pop culture. There were other vampire stories before Stoker birthed his Dracula, but Dracula rose to become the terrifying godfather of vampiric lure in our modern culture. Now, vampires are nothing but pathetic things to be laughed at and mutilated. The final proverbial stake in the vampiric heart- Meyer and her sparkly Twilight. But we already know this. Some genuises have taken it a step further. -.- However, one could argue that this 'oh-so-interesting' plot came about because of the popularity explosion of vampires Twilight brought about.

This causes me to hate Disney even more. Don't get me wrong, I've hated it ever since the teeny boppers came in with their pop trash. But this...this??? I miss Walt Disney. gonk

Disney lost the taste and repectablilty they had when Walt was alive. I wonder if him and Stoker are holding each other on the other side, weeping at the current state of affairs in the living world. emo
I don't know if they appear in daylight- wouldn't suprirse me if they did, but apparently, according to Disney now, vampires don't get fangs until they grow up. TT

I haven't looked... but I think I know what you're talking about.
The four-part 'saga' with Wizards of Waverly Place vs. Vampires? I know because my cousins watch Disney.

My lil sis and brother watch Disney, I saw the first part of it. Vampires are officially things to be laughed at now. I mean, even The Count from Sesame Street was kinda cool....but this.... emo
I think Selena is pretty.

P l N E A P P L E S I actually like Selena Gomez and David Henry. :/ I've heard that Selena is a brat in real life, but Wizard's is one of the only two decent shows on Disney. That show and Sonny with a Chance are good. (Though I only watch Wizard's when nothing else is on.) I've seen the ads for that special. Luckily, they seem to stay pretty close to the Vampire lore. Still, it bothers me that Disney, who tries to stick to "family programming" are touching the Vampires base.

Honestly those vampires looked better than sprklepires at least. They did it better than Meyer.
Also
DEAR ATG, VAMPIRES CAN WALK IN SUNLIGHT. STOP ACTING LIKE IT'S POISON TO THEM.
Seriously that thing was a myth made up by novels like Dracula. NOWHERE in folklore does it mention vampires being affected by sunlight. Some even attacked people AT NOON.
Sun = explosion/burn? It's not true, get over it neutral But sun =/= sparkles either. *shudders*
So says your local vampire expert...

I find this is extremely ironic. While I was reading this page, my little sister turned the Wizard Vs. Vampires on tv and is watching it. I can hear it. Apparently, Justin is using magic to date Juliet. WOOOOOOOOW!!! Boring.
