Waplei CoveWhether you've gone through or around the marsh, you've managed to find Waplei Cove, one of the newer areas that formed after the Isle came crashing down. There's a smaller waterfall here; while not as magnificant, it's still pretty and probably equally as noisy. It's hard to get very close to the waterfall, mainly because of all the rocks spread out on the beach, and it's going to take a bit of rock-climbing to get a better view on what's going on. Once reaching the top and stumbling over yourself, you'll discover that there are, in fact, absolutely no pirates here. Lovely. You glance wearily down at the rocks again, before deciding to back-track. You need a drink. Too bad they're aren't any. Maybe you'll find some if you keep exploring... Keeta sighed in frustration. It felt like she had been looking for ages, but still no sign of the hula dancer or the pirates. At one point, she thought she heard rushing water, and remembering that the island had some waterfalls she decided to make her way over to view them. After all, if she was going to be traipsing all over the island, she might as well see what there was to see. And who said the pirates couldn't have taken her to a waterfall. Right? Right.
Keeta stood at the base of the falls and looked upward. Once more she shielded her eyes from the sun and now the reflecting water as well. She allowed herself a smile at the beautiful sight the waterfall made, before more closely examinging the scene for the hint of the passage of the pirates or their captive. There seemed to be nothing at the base of the waterfall, but maybe if she climbed up....
The rocky ascent to the top of the waterfall didn't seem too bad. Keeta was pretty sure she could make it and it would give her a better view. Grunting and straining she eventually made her way to the top and turned to see what she could see.
After spending several minutes at the top of the waterfall surveying the surrounding area, Keeta was forced to concede that this side trip had not helped get her any closer to the hula dancer. With a sigh and a grimace, Keeta gingerly made her way back down the way she had come. She would have to try again elsewhere.

Kelebek stumbles through the thick foliage until she hears the sound of water. Water! She comes across this beautiful waterfall--something she'd never seen before--and just stands there, awestruck, for a few moments. She decides she wants a better look, and climbs up toward the top over rocks. She winds up with a shallow, but painful gash in her leg from slipping (and the slipping possibly due in part to the rum...). Damn these legs! She hopes it doesn't carry over to her beautiful tail, or else it might scar.
No pirates up here anyway. "Anemones," she swears lightly. The waterfall is beautiful, though. Kelebek dips her hand in and takes a drink. Fresh water, too. She takes a couple more handfuls of the sweet, clear water, which clears her head of the fuzzy feeling the punch-drink had left it with. Though she does prefer salt water. No matter, time to head out again!

Here again! Kelebek crashes through onto the rocks that she'd sworn she just left. "Anemones," she swears again. "Must've gone in a circle." Her tracking skills, while lamentable in the water, were even more pitiful on land. She pauses to take another few drinks of the water before setting off again. She wouldn't bother climbing back down and scraping herself all up again.

As carter made his way around he heard a faint sound in the distance. He stopped for a moment to ponder what it could be. it sounded...like crashin water?
"a water fall?" He asked himself out loud. He sighed and tucked some of his raven hair behind his ear before continuing onward. It only took him a few minutes before he came to the clearing where there was indeed a large, beautiful water fall. The air here was cool since there was quite a bit of mist from the crashing falls. Carter smiled at the sight, and expecially the temperature. After walking all that while being in a nice cool place was certainly most welcome.
He took a look around and sighed. there wasn't mush here, and he certainly couldn't hear anything over the loud roaring water. He took a glance upwards and frowned. There was land up there, maybe the pirates that took the hula dancer could be hiding up there. They certainly couldn't be heard over this water.
" Oh great... this can't be safe..." He breathed as he realized that the only way up there was by climbing. He had half a mind to call it quits and continue on another way, but his conscience would never let him do that. What if the hula girl -was- up there and he didn't check? it would all be his fault.
"up we go..." He breathed, starting to climb, finding it extremely difficult, but he tried to keep a steady pace. "don't look down, it's ok, your just climbing up a tiny hill. your not in any danger at all," He said to himself in an attempt to stay calm, but he felt his heart hammering in his chest. He continued upwards until he lost his footing, giving out a great cry of horror as he slipped, catching a glimpse of the great fall he would take if he didn't hold on for dear life. " Oh gods!" he whimpered, scrambling to get his footing again and to finish what was left of the climb, the adrenaline rush helping him along. Finally he felt the lush grass of the top and he crawled up, flopping onto the floor.
" Oh jeeze." He panted, hugging the floor. " i love you, flat, stable ground." He added, picking up his head slowly. He took a look and sighed, letting his head drop again. nothing. all that, for absolutely nothing...

Carter back tracked, deciding it was best to go back to the water fall. He had already ade the climb, maybe this time he'd go left instead of right from this point. He knew he was close when he heard the roar of water and low and behold he arrived to where he had his brush with death. well he felt like he almost died anyway.
"allright..now...i came from...that way so lets go this way now." He said to himself, starting off in a "new" direction.

He contined on, getting lost somewhere in the greens and frowned at the sound of...crashing water? "oh, no! no no!" he cried, running out itn the clearing again to find himself at the water fall again. " where did i turn around?!" He yelled, kicking at the grass in frustration. " ah c'mon!" He said, taking off in yet another direction. He felt like he was in a freaking maze!

Dizzy followed what she only assumed was pirate tracks. "These pirate feetprints look a little like dog paw prints." she mumbled to herself as she walked down the beach. "I wonder if they have dogs."
She was walking in uncharted territory, not remembering the edge of the island looking so ... rocky. "I should get out more often." she thought to herself. It was not long before she seen some rocks piled up, looking like someone had just dumped them off the island. She walked closer and the noise started getting even louder. "I wonder if pirate dogs like belly rubs..."
"too loud to think!" she said trying to hear herself over the noise. She covered her ears and fluttered her wings a bit to lift herself for a better view on the other side of the rocks.
"wow ..." the sight of the waterfall was awe inspiring. It was pretty majestic.
There was no sign of pirates anywhere near the cove. Dizzy set herself down on the rock and assumed her thinking pose to figure out where to go next. "I wonder if their dogs can swim."
So maybe she was slightly more inebriated than she thought.
She heaved a heavy sigh and stood up again, sticking her finger in her mouth to wet it, then holding it up in the air, she decided to go in the direction the wind was blowing.

A slightly hazy Saffron grumbled a bit, scaling the cliffs with much more difficulty than he would have predicted. Of course, he could have tried to fly up the cliffs, but...for some reason, he thought that might be a bad idea right now, especially with the haze he seemed to be in.
Not a visual one. More like...his MIND was cloudy. Weird.
The top was finally within reach and with only slight difficulty, the mixed angel pulled himself over the edge and sprawled on the rocks at the top. He waited to catch his breath first, then staggered to his feet for a look around.
No pirates. Crap.
"UGH!" Frustrated, Saffron decided he could use another drink at this point. Tempting as it was to backtrack though, he really needed to find those pirates first. Find pirates. Rescue girl.
Then get drink. Yeah.
Sighing once more, the mixed angel began his descent.

Seth frowned as he looked up at the cliffs, then sighed as he looked at his drunken daughter. "Ama, I need you to stay here, ok? I need to make sure that this is safe." 'Especially for a certain drunk daughter....' He thought tiredly to himself, then began to scale the cliffs. As he faught to keep himself from plummeting to sure disaster, he made a mental note that he would take lessons in this... and perhaps in tracking all together.
Making it to the top, he gave out a groan of distress; there were no pirates to be seen... in fact, it looked like no one had been in this area in quite a long time. Feeling himself begining to get quite thirsty, he carefully made his way back down the rocks and went to meet up with his daughter.
Ama, during this entire time, was giggling while playing with a leaf. It was amazing how weird a leaf could look through her eyes at that moment.
Seth chuckled and scooped her up in his arms. "Alright, lets keep going.... where do you want to head to, Ama?" He chuckled as the little faun pointed to a random direction, then returned to staring at her leaf. Shaking his head a little, he took the path his daughter had chosen.

Stacia tripped forward scraping her knee on a rock. The fae were far more graceful than she was. This trek was hardly fun, but the views were fantastic. Stacia had chosen to make her way to a vantage point to see if she could find anyone.
There was no one there. There were people still looking around. Stacia looked up at the sky wishing that there was some way she could listen for the girl. Perhaps if she was still enough...
Stacia's eyes pressed closed and her golden hair swept back and forth as she waited for some sign. None came and she decided it was best to move on now.
