So, I love little tiny!plots. This isn't really anything special, just a meet-and-greet sort of deal- but there's a catch.
It's a party FOR the candidates, hosted... BY the candidates. Eh? Eh? -eyebrow waggle- Sounds fun! It'll be VERY involved- I want to get LOTS of candidates up and active. =3 We'll need budding cooks (food AND desserts), party planners, musicians, activity-organizers.. etc.
So, lets get a little in depth!
As candidates begin to arrive for the Horse Clutch, a great way to break the ice is throw them all in a big room together! 8D I'm going to need a Party Committee to plan the when/where/how/why aspect. Where in the Weyr is the party held? How is the room decorated? Do invitations go out, or is it word-of-mouth? Is there a "theme", and a dress code? Or is it casual? 4-5 candidates!
During the party, the party-goers are going to want food and drinks! We'll need some candidates with skillz in the kitchen, here! What will be served, finger foods? A coursed-meal? Will there be dessert? What type of drinks? 3-5 +/- candidates!
ENTERTAINMENT! Do you like to sing? Play an instrument? Great! I need you too! Songbirds of all types, come here! Any party is incomplete without musical accompaniment. You don't have to be a Master Harper- but please, be able to carry a tune! 3-5 +/- candidates!
Here is PLENTY of opportunity for RP! Not all of it needs to be RPed out- but party planning, various meetings about the details, the actual prep time.. There's lots of stuff to be played out here. I'm super excited! 8DD
SO! Do I have you attention? Your interest? Then post below! Tell me which of your candidates will be interested in doing what! Once I get a decent amount of interest, I'll post a date and time for the party!

'Thelbel (Vaythel) could sing/play an instrument. He's got Harper training, and isn't horrible at it.

Haha, what an interesting plot idea! Jaidev might have been trained to be a Weaver, but he loves to cook and drudged in the kitchen when he first came to Ista, so he has some kitchen skills to lend. Plus, he's been looking for an excuse to be more social this Turn...

Well, pending my character's approval (hopefully) i'd love to participate. Should I get approval in time for this, he can sing pretty decently, and he could help serve food as he is good on his feet.

Hahahahaha....I LOVE this. If my boy Weylin catches wind of this he'd help plan and get everything organized...but he really takes things SUPER SRSLY and someone will need to tell him that it's a party so he needs to LIGHTEN UP.

OMG. He and Kella will make a GREAT TEAM... NOT. It'll be awesome, though. Kella will want to rip his head of, probably? Yeah. I'm thinkin' so. LET'S DO IT.

Velrun will be glad(?) to attend, but he's sort of a stick in the mud. He doesn't have any real musical talent, or cooking really, but if you need someone for that he'll do it. Most likely he'll just watch from a corner quietly. biggrin

Veyes might attend but I am not sure how he can help..He's pretty good at telling stories but he's not a trained harper or anything. lol
