I think that's more of a one night stand child than a love child of the two.

Optional multiplayer of up to 4 people? No mention of online? There goes the M, M and O. Plus the RPG sounds a little weak. So what we're looking at is more of an (rp)G rather than an MMORPG.

Regardless of how we'd define it, it looks pretty good.
It has the cuteness of Ranch, but with cooler playability.

If it let's me get stuff for Diamond, then I'll consider it. Or if it lets you battle online with other people (ie. MMO style gameplay), I might get it.
Graphics are kinda lame, but let's face it, that's a lot of polygons to make if they're making every pokemon playable.
