hmm...for me the fingering for the highest high Ab and Bb is a bit hard [i play flute fyi lol...] but overall C# is always out of tune for flutes...

Oh god DEFINITELY concert B... never comes out right... especially the low one cause my arm aint long enough to properly reach 7th position (trombones FTW) I'm always a little sharp. Also anything more than 3 ledger lines above the staff, and more than 1 ledger line below the staff.

D flat.
D:
asdfghjkl.
Have you ever tried to keep five flutes in tune on that note?!
Ew.
And anything above the high F (the F above the staff) or below the low E flat (last line of the staff).

Anything much above concert F on a horn (third line C on it) is a pain in the rear. >.<

I hate concert B natural. It's a giant pain in the a** to tune in any octave.

Concert F. On every instrument I play it's always out of tune...I hate it. Plus it sounds weird.

If you're playing a peashooter, everything should be hard.
And out of tune. They make those so it's harder for you to play so you can learn.

Well, I hate anything thats high octave when there's more than one piccolo lol Especially when you're the only one that can play in tune because the other piccolo players have just started playing picc... (Poor little flute players =/)

On trombone, I hate high octave some more lol but thats because its hard for me to play it clearly XP I just started trombone and its a nice little peashooter.... XP

On flute, I despise the transition from the super high octave B natural to the super high octave C lol (and yes, I called it "super high octave" only because thats what we jokingly call it here lol)

Let me see...Concert F because we play it way too much (it's a tuning note so what can I do?). Then there's anything above the concert Bb an octave higher than the one just above the staff (treble).

Recently, I've tried getting up to the Db above said Bb on flute, and I actually got it out once, but it was extremely out of tune. And shrill. And horrible.

that's a short little range you limit yourself to o.O..

anyway..my least favorite note on sax would be the high Bb above the staff..everything from low Bb below the staff to A right above the staff...and then everything from C above the staff to G 2 octaves above the staff is awesome smile

on clarinet..i'd have to say Bb on the staff.. neutral it just comes out too airy on any clarinet i've ever played..(these aren't concert pitch cause i'm tired and don't wanna think about what they would be concert pitch)

Definately anything above a high B. (second line up on the ledger)

Or anything on the staff lines, really. This tuba likes low notes. XD

Alto Sax. A#/Bb, C, C#/Db, D#/Eb.

The A#, also known as Bb, is a really irritating note to play. There's about 4 alternate fingerings for this one note and all of them are slightly lower or higher in pitch than each other. It's very difficult to get an entire saxophone section in tune on this one note.

C just sounds horrible. And I mean the C on the staff. Not middle or High C. Actually, Middle C, also referred to as low C on a saxophone is hard to play at times since the lowest note on a saxophone is B, just under middle C so you have to really drop your jaw and blow hard.

C#/Db is also like the A#/Bb. It doesn't really sound quite right and it's hard to keep it in tune.

D#/Eb is just hard to finger. Not because it's hard to finger the note but it's hard to change notes while playing it. The right-hand pinky key that you press down always lags and creates a blip in your sound when you change notes.

e.e you right hand pinky key is sticking because the pad that it closes isn't clean..you should clean it...the low c(Bb is actually the lowest note, by the way..you can go lower than B) shouldn't be hard if you're playing right to begin with. and everything else is embouchure related
