1. Be respectful to everyone around you. If you are disrespected, contact me or Nomad Rath.
Being respectful?
Well that basically means be nice. Here are a few tips.
- Don't insult people. It starts fights.
- If you get in a fight, don't continue it, contact me, and I'll clear it up.
- No gloating or telling people their character sucks...
- Crew will not delete people's posts for the heck of it. If they disagree with some-one's opinion, they will ignore it.
- And make sure you respect our crew too! That's a big one. We've had several people banned because of that.

2. Don't post in the main forum.
The main forum?
That's the forum you are in when you press "View Forum" on the main page. Only the guild account, the crew, and I should post there.
- The introduction thread is for you to post in.
- Posting in the topics to request a character and a link card are obviously ok to post in.
- The subforums are for you to post in.
- Unless stated otherwise, do NOT post in the announcement threads.

3. You may post advertisements if you ask me first...
- You may post an advertisement, ONLY if you run it by me first. And ONLY in the chatterbox.
- I reserve the right to refuse your request to advertise if I find a reason I don't want it in my chatterbox.

4. You should try and be active...
- Activeness is key to this being a successful guild and to you having fun. ^.^
- Post at least a couple of times a week... Please?

5. Don't take a character without asking...
- Characters must be approved. You can't have one unless you ask first. Otherwise, how are we supposed to know the available characters?
- This includes taking a link card without asking.

6. Random threads go in the chatterbox.
- You may only post random things in the chatterbox. Because otherwise, everything would become quite messy.
- By random, we mean pretty much anything within allowance of the ToS, not just random things about Fire Emblem.

7. Please do not ask to be part of the crew.
- Crew will be selected by me, only if I decide I need more help.
- Here's a tip... I select literate people who work hard, and love to stay active...

8. Please send a friend request to the user: Fire Emblem Forever
- You should really do this. She's the guild account. She holds guild money and sends out FEF newsletters. If you cannot send requests, please tell one of us.

9. If you change your name, pm me and tell me your old name, and your new one.
- This is because I have your name on a list of members and characters.. And I may not have your new name.

10. In order to request a character, you must post 20 times.
- This does NOT include random bumping. IF you are seen making stupid posts, the crew will not give you the character you want, or increase the amount of posts you need.
- Even in the chatterbox, where random topics are made, we still have civilized conversations.

11. Do not necropost old topics
- Necroposting means reviving an old or dead topic with a new post.
- Topics whose last posts are older than three months are considered old topics.
- This does not apply to the chatterbox.

The Crew

The List

Nomad Rath: Rath was the captain of this guild after Nino resigned her post for personal reason. He has been vice captain since sometime near the end of 2006. Alongside Nino, he has a part in mostly everything that goes on in FEF. He is currently taking a break from being captain.

Magegirl Nino: Nino is the current captain of this guild. She was once the captain who created Fire Emblem Forever in June of 2006 and has stayed with the guild ever since. She had a part in most of the planning and events that went on around the guild.

Fire Emblem Forever: This is FEFGA. She is the guild account, further explained later in this thread.

Jisen Meizuki: This is Isadora. She helps with regular crew stuff, mainly acting as the best secretary ever, and sometimes draws event art. She's also the motivator. She gets us moving!

KuraiKitty: Kurai is also known as Ayra. Recently she has been taking care of the purge of the character list and helping organize. Her latest project has been hosting the Tournament of Bones. She monitors the RP forum too!

Ganon Firenight: Tibarn helps mastermind the main roleplay. He's made up a lot of key points and continues to enthusiastically sit back and play us like puppets. XD He does a lot of maintenance too. Moving around threads and such.

Cortesa: Nils is easy to talk to, sweet, and a hard worker! She is the secretary that does all the stuff we hate to do, along with Isadora. =) She heads the FEF support subforum, the Newsletters, and the character list.

Zelym: Heath, our quirkiest crew member, also happens to be the top poster in the guild. He is known for his strange personality, so don't take him all too seriously. The tasks given to him are usually small, but he inputs hard core critique to crew ideas.

Marshmallow Kitty: This is Amelia, who was recently promoted. She's a very good helper and is good with being able to speak the minds of the members to the captain.

SilverBellsAbove: Skrimir was also recently promoted. She is, in many opinions, the best link card maker we've ever had and will most likely be the one who makes your link card.

How Must the Crew act?

The Crew conducts themselves with respect for the members and for each other. The Crew work together to bring the best experience to the members. Nearly everything they do is for the benefit of the guild and the members. The crewmembers share the responsibilities to bring new and interesting things to the guild while continuing to keep the everything organized and working properly.
Responsibilities of the crew include but are not limited to the following:
-Keeping forums clean by erasing the old and managing the new.
-Always on the lookout for something that can be improved
-Helping new members and old members alike get used to the guild and learn it's ways
-Approving or denying members
-Planning for the canon roleplay
-Helping with funds and setup for parties
-Answer questions and give advice to members

How must members treat the crew?

You don't have to be afraid of the crew! If you have questions, suggestions, complaints or even if you just want to talk, you can approach any of us. We're here for you, and we're here to have fun. However, you must treat the crew with respect. Just basic respect is all that we ask. Don't cuss at us or yell at us if we do something you don't like. Just calmly explain your complaints.

How can a member become crew?

It's not easy. Here are some of the best ways to get looked at for the position of crew:
-Speak with good grammar. Don't use l33t or have frequent spelling errors.
-Be really active. We have to see you often to get a feeling of who you are and what you stand for. That's how we judge how well you'd do as crew.
-Have suggestions on how to make the guild better. This is a good quality because that's basically what being crew is about.
-Know your stuff. Know the guild well enough to help other members with their problems or questions. If you're already helping member, you're on your way.

The top ten ways to never become crew!

Here are a few ways to alienate yourself from ever becoming crew.
10.) Not being active
9.) Spreading lies
8.) Trying to start Arguments
7.) Spamming
6.) Bad grammar and l33t.
5.) Being rude, immature, and a smartass
4.) Being Closed minded
3.) Asking to be Crew
2.) Disobeying rules
1.) Not reading the rules

Tournament of Bones: This subforum is used to be the guild game, The Mystery Murder! But now, it has turned into a tournament. So sign up and test your skill against the contestants in the tournament. Warning: Bloodbath and body decapitating is not in our warranty.

Holiday Subforum: This is where events for holidays go on. Or just events. Or just whatever we want to put in there. Mainly for holiday events, though.

Characters

What Are Characters For?

A character is your identity! You should pick a character that you like! People will call you by your character name and probably see you in that manner. You may rp this character, and have claim to that character in the main roleplay. However, this does not restrict your roleplaying opportunities in the normal roleplays. You can be whomever you want in the normal roleplays. You don't HAVE to roleplay your character, either. It can just be a name. This makes the experience more fun. It's also fun to dress your avatar up as your character, though you definitely don't have to. Have fun with it! You may have one character from the game, and unlimited original characters.

To Request a Character from One of the Games

To request to be one of the characters from the games, here are the steps.
1.) Post at least 20 times in the guild. (Check number ten on Basic Rules.)
2.) Check out The Available and Taken Character List. To pick out a character you might like to be.
3.) Go to The Character Request Thread To request your character.
4.) If Cortesa doesn't get back to you right away, pm her.

Registering as an Original Character

If you have an original character, you should probably register it. This does not apply to all OCs. If you plan to use the character in the main roleplay, you should be registered. That way, we can keep you in the storyline and keep everything organized. If you plan to use your character in another roleplay in the rp forum, you don't have to register it.

Steps to registering your OC character:

1.) Go to the Original Character List and Read.
2.) Send the small form to Rath through pm. Your character should show up on the list within the next few days.
3.) If you have a long bio, post it in the Full bio post thread and you can link back to it.

Linkcards

Linkcards are your identification pictures that go in your signatures. Many people in the guild create these. They can be fancy, simple, big or small, still image or gifs. Most everybody has one and they all look cool. To get a linkcard, ask around or post in the Linkcard Request thread.

Changing your Character

To change your character, pm Cortesa with a character in mind. You should not change your character more than once a month. This may result in the guild not knowing who you are anymore, causing everybody to get confused! Oh no! =0

When you Leave

When you leave the guild, please pm Rath telling him so. Please tell him or Cortesa your character so that he or she may add it back to the list for other members to have.

Newsletters

What's a Newsletter?

A newsletter is a letter sent through the pm system to help you keep up with all the events in the guild! It includes news, a support from the members, and possibly art or a fanfiction.

How do I get a Newsletter?

To get one, please Sign up for the Newsletter. It's also important to get on the user Fire Emblem Forever's friendslist! Otherwise you might not receive one!

When do I get a Newsletter?

The newsletter will be sent out at the end of each month, beginning again soon!

What happens if I don't get one?

If you don't get one, you should make sure you're signed up, and make sure you are on FEFGA's friendslist. If you are both of those, please pm Rath.

The Main Roleplay

What is the Main Roleplay?

The Parties

What are the Parties for?

The parties enrich the experience and the fun of being in FEF! They keep things alive and kicking here. They reward the members for being... members! What we do is we set up events for the main roleplay, contests, giveaways, games, and chat threads and we have a ball for each major Holiday!

Contests

Often times the contests will be 500g in price. They are often an art contest, mugshot contest, poem, fanfiction, and others! They are held during the parties and judged by the members themselves, making use of the poll system.

The Roleplay

On Halloween '08, we made a significant change to the parties. We added a plot. This was a big change and an interesting development in the life and character of our guild. The roleplay began as a Halloween joke that wasn't meant to spawn an entire canon roleplay. However, when people liked it so much, we did it again for Christmas, and again for Easter! Read about the main roleplay to continue this story.

FEF Aim Blast!

What is The FEF Aim Blast?

The FEF Blast is a place where the more preferred members can communicate and have fun over an outside client: Instant Messaging. In it, you meet the Crew, the Host Club, random other members, and you can all make jokes and debate and have fun. Sure, there's the occasional spat, but it's infrequent, and it's not gonna kill anyone. Also, between the active, literate masses of the chat, you'll see random videos, pictures, articles and other media that you may never happen across otherwise. Overall, it's quite the fun, engaging place, and we strongly encourage you to join should you have AIM and a friend to invite you in.

How do I join?

All you have to do is pm your aim user name to someone that's already in it, and ask them to invite you!

Guild Account

What does FEFGA do?

FEFGA is the guild's mule account. She holds the funds that we use towards bettering the guild and that we give as prizes. She also sends out newsletters and announcements by pm. She can be used to post announcements in the guild as well, and sometimes is included in the main roleplay to further the story.

Who controls her?

Rath and Nino are the only ones with full time access to FEFGA. However, other crew are able to sign into to her, if needed.

How Does Donating to FEFGA Help the Guild?

If you donate items, ink, or gold to FEFGA, that helps us have prizes to give out during the parties and helps us enrich the experience of the guild! Better the guild by giving her your unwanted ink or items! (And maybe some gold?) Do this instead of donating gold directly to the guild treasury, please.

Towns and ZOMG

FEFGA's house

FEFGA's house is our towns hangout! If you're in towns you might want to check it out. However, be aware that you must be friends with Fefga to get inside. There's a barrier around the house that prevents the untrustworthy from getting in. The address is 29 Barton 022216.
Here is a convenient link to take you straight there.

FEF's zOMG Clan

This is the url to our zOMG clan. Join if you wish!
