FIRE EMBLEM FOREVER NEWSLETTERS~
YOU'RE READING THAT RIGHT, FOLKS.
I, CORTESA, AM STARTING UP THE NEWSLETTERS AGAIN.
Gale is taking charge of these things while Cortesa is on hiatus.
PLEASE, READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE SIGNING UP.
Let's start of with some important information.
→ YOU MUST, MUST, MUST ADD FEFGA (Fire Emblem Forever) TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL NOT BE RECEIVING A NEWSLETTER, BECAUSE I AM USING THAT ACCOUNT TO SEND THESE OUT!
→ These will be sent out on the first day of every month!
→ There is no fee to sign up for the newsletter! All you need to do is post and say that you are interested in receiving it.
Now, some of you remember the old newsletters. And those were cool, right?
Well, I want to make these ones even better for you. Which is why I'm adding a bunch of cool news things, which include a list of birthdays for the month, riddles, trivia, a foreign language section, and interviews with members and characters. I'll also be bringing back the support conversations.
Want to contribute or get involved? Here are the rules and deadlines involved.
→ If you want your birthday listed in the newsletter, PM me anytime up to two days before that month's newsletter is released. For example, if I wanted my birthday to be mentioned, which is on April 1st, I'd send a message anytime between March 1st and March 29th. Anytime after that would be considered too late.
→ If you want your support conversation featured, PM me anytime! It is first-come first-serve, unless you were involved in the support conversation featured in the previous two issues.
→ If you want to submit riddles, trivia, puzzles, fun facts, or anything of that nature, PM me at anytime with the riddle and correct answer! If I choose your submission to be featured, I will credit you.
→ If you want to submit to the foreign language section, please do! I desperately want people to contribute to this section! What I want to do with that is have phrases or words in languages other than English, with pronunciation and the definition. For these, PM the stuff to me anytime up to two days before that month's newsletter is released.
→ If you want to get involved with the interviews, read the next section below.
→ If you want to have an announcement, a shout-out, an advertisement, or anything else in the newsletter, PM what you want to be said to me up until seven days before the newsletter is released. I must approve of your message before it can be included! Then, send a trade to FEFGA for 250 gold. Once the trade is accepted, you can breathe easily, for your message will be in the newsletter!
For interviews:
→ There are two types of interviews, both of which will be featured once a month. One is "Interview With a Member" in which I do a Q and A session with one of the members. The other is "Interview With a Character" in which my character, Alihi Kaua, does an in-character Q and A session a RP character.
→ You must sign up for this. I am not going to assume that you want to be involved in it. Just post here or IM me.
→ You can sign up at any time with all the characters that you have. For example, if I wasn't the one doing the interviewing, I could sign up for "Interview With a Member" plus "Interview With a Character" with Alihi, Akihi, Amara, Nils, Bliss, Jyoti, and Endellion. The characters that you sign up must be involved with FEF canon, and you must feel confident about their voice. The "Interview With a Character" is, after all, an in-character review!
→ The people who are chosen for the month will be decided by a Random Number Generator on the tenth day of the month. If you and a character of yours are chosen, however, then I will reroll for the list that is longer. Also, if you cannot be involved in these interviews more than two months in a row. This is to try and prevent the same people getting chosen over and over again.
→ If you are chosen, I will contact you via PM (or IM, if I have the option). You will have the option to decline, in which case I will put you back on the list and reroll unless you tell me to remove you completely. If I PM you and don't hear back from you in five days, I will reroll and choose another person.
→ I must have the interview completed three days before the month ends. If for some reason I don't, then either another crew member has taken over for me for that month, or the interviews would not run for that month.
→ [NEW] Due to the number of characters wanting to be interviewed, I've decided that said character can only be interviewed once. In the unlikely case of the list being completely striked out because everyone on it has been interviewed, then I will open it up once more. This does not apply for the member interview!
