Welcome to Poker Night, organized by F’sey and open to all greenriders part of his little alliance. For you see, not only do these greenriders waste time on card games, they are joining forces to try to stop some of Nan’s nasty rumors in their tracks. (Well, mainly the ones concerning themselves.)
So what is this alliance?
-For now, it is greenriders only, though the occasional guest may be invited with F’sey/C’ren’s permission.
-It will be held in F’sey/C’ren’s weyr at least once a sevenday, or perhaps more if the agree to do so.
-While poker is an important part of the institution, it’s mostly for grumpy greenriders to share their troubles and hopefully they will find a way to combat Nan’s rumor mill. It’s F’sey’s plan that one day the group will be large enough that they may form their own network and remain free of Nan’s gossip completely.
-If anyone is giving a member of the little alliance grief, they may find a very grumpy F’sey coming to their aid.
How do you join?
-Easy! You send me a PM/leave a note in this thread and F’sey or C’ren will extend an invitation to your greenrider. They can be of any age, Jr. Weyrling to full-grown rider. Any greenrider is welcome, as long as F’sey doesn’t see reason to disclude them.
-What if your character wants to invite someone? That’s easy too. Just send me a PM so we can have a brief log of your character asking permission. It doesn’t need to be long, just a few lines. I’d like to keep the invitations under F’sey’s control, ICly. Of course, you can go ahead and invite someone anyways, but they won’t be considered a member until F’sey gives his say-so.
What are the IC rules of the game?
-Don’t bet anything you aren’t afraid to lose.
-Bring your own booze. C’ren doesn’t share well.
-What happens at the club stays at the club.
-What F’sey says, goes. You can argue, of course, just don’t expect him to back down. ;D

C'ren strongly approves of others bringing their own booze.
He also suggests that bringing a fine vintage would be a good way to gain entry.

Emori's gonna feel really weird at first, but I think she'd like having people to hang out with regularly. Inannath will do most of the talking for her. XDD

If C'ren is willing to be social, it might bring Kallista out of her weyr to socialize. And it will be interesting to see Haayath and Astarteth square off. I can totally see that happening.

K'pak likes a good card game.
Don't mind the little green sitting at his feet, she's just making sure that no one's got extra cards under the table. XD I'm sure Amalenth would like the chance to meet some other greens.

TYIA - Would you mind if T'ka is extended an invitation after the current game of dragon poker?
NAREE - C'ren will take care of Kallista. C'ren is just jealous F'sey can round up more weyrlings than he can. >0>
LUMENNE - F'sey can nab Emori after weyrling lessons?
TAWNY - No iiiiidea. Though I'm sure L'thor has met F'sey and C'ren before, being the the Weyr and all. Any preferences?
