Golden Sun is hella popular, son~!
And yes, it was voted for best gameboy RPG. The sequel was even more popular. :3
Ah, I remember the first time I play those games. :'D Oh, those puzzles were the death of me. :') The battle graphics were amazing for that time, I really have to say. Oh, those summons were pretty as hell. :'D

lol And many male gamers (and plenty of tomboyish female gamers, too!) know about Fallout 1-3. Fallout 3 is just the best known right now because that's the one Bethesda Softworks got a hold of, and everyone knows Bethesda thanks to the TES games.
Psychonauts I've heard of via Nintendo Power when I was subscribed. Parasite Eve I know of because my fiance wants to try playing it.

I do have Trozei - can't say it's that fun. D;
And Summon Night Twin Age too, but haven't tried that one yet.
DS games:
Ever heard of Izuna anyone?
Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja, and Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja returns. Lol, that game's really simple, good for anyone who don't want to think too much. Gameplay is similar to Pokemon Dungeon Rescue Teams, and even the controls are pretty much the same. Not bad lah.
Also, Etrian Odyssey. I don't know about this, but both games I mentioned might be one of those low-budget games. And the file size is only 16 mb, which can be considered small for a game. Average RPGs are 64 mb, Kingdom Hearts is even 256 mb. But not bad either. It just gets so frustrating sometimes, leveling up is really hard, graphics are average, and game isn't really balanced well.
