I have more trouble pronouncing German and Russian-type languages than any others. sweatdrop I don't know why. I'm actually part German.

....German & Russian have thick accents on some of their characters so I'd imagine that without years of experience or having lived in or with German speaking people....mimicking that accent would be quite hard. I'd still love to try. ♥

I've never compared japanese to chinese, i just want to be able to buy original japanese dvds. Then I can finally start getting them instead of the stupid "edited to crap" english versions.
(most shows and games brought from japan are complete and total garbage after the editors and censors get through with them - I hate them SO much)
Sorry ranting again.

The Chinese languages are definitely softer. surprised I've never thought about it, but I can see how they could be considered prettier.

I wouldn't mind learning Japanese myself. I know some German and a bit of Russian, I know some Spanish, and some French, a bit of several other languages mostly the basics in case of emergency. I wouldn't mind knowing more though but I want to learn Japanese. Oh and personally I think Scottish and Irish guys have the HOTTEST accents in the world!!! *swoons*
And I totally agree with Dude!!! Down with censors and editors!!! scream
