My friends and I were listening to Sonic music one day, and I and my male friend were wondering 'We understand all of the characters' songs, but not Amy's. It's so out there!' Then, my female friend leaned in. 'Well, here's what I always thought...'
If this was so monsterously obvious to you all, and I'm just a moron for not seeing it sooner, then I'm sorry, but I thought I'd share what she said, and what we all know (please pardon me though, there's a part I don't recall too well.)
I got out my map and chose a place I wanted to go to

This one is obvious. She's on another quest to track down Sonic...probably. Maybe she's just going shopping. sad

This one I'm having trouble remembering. sad I think it means she considers herself some sort of trophy catch, since persian cats were usually highly regarded in ancient Egypt.

Parsely alone isn't that great. It's tastes nasty. But it is nice looking, and it's often used to make other foods look nice. Therefore, she wants to be the dish to his parsley; being around him will make her look good.

OH GOD ARE YOU RIGHT IT IS. I wish you weren't right on that, but I'm afraid it's a sad, sad fact, especially since I'm eleven. wink And I hate that song, I hate its guts. She does sound like she's trying to be horny. I can hardly understand what she's saying too. rolleyes LOL. Nice translation, anyway. She's 15 now, in 9th grade then, I'm in 6th and I'm definately not horny... (Or I don't care very much yet) Hm. She could be horny, but that would be messed up for a Sonic character, I mean REALLY messed up. razz
And nice topic idea. I don't know what she's getting at other than that Sonic doesn't like her back and it sucks for her really bad. Oh well, she's getting better, what with not having to go in a CAR to keep up with the others and having a really dumb dress and generally being an annoyance. neutral

I don't think Bratz are horny so much as they look like vegas streetcorner whores. As for 12-year-olds being horny. Well most adolescents discover masturbation at around 12 years of age. Or maybe Sega just doesn't know what they're implying when they write these songs.

I've got a different theory on the cats. The Sphinx is a breed of cat which naturally has no hair - perhaps she is saying that since she likes cute things, she had to make the Persian cat as cute as the Sphinx.

Well now that I understand the song more so than I did before, I think that Amy really needs to set more goals for herself.
