Hey everyone smile
Have you ever had an idea for a guild that you never got around to using?
Even by today's standards, running a guild is a big commitment - if the 20k setup fee has become small change since it was introduced, then certainly the job of maintaining an active community has grown more difficult.
I've had a few ideas for guilds over the years that I never found the time to get started with.
I thought we could use this thread to get some of these kinds of ideas out in the open - just for the sake of interest, inspiration or plain amusement. ^^

I'll start: some of my ideas were a guild for discussing leadership, leaders and influence; a Captains' Guild offshoot that specialised more in guild setups or "design"; and Web "creative" guild that would serve as a sort of hybrid of the Graphic Designer guild and some others, spotlighting Web design trends and sharing techniques and ideas.

I had an idea of an fanbased guild for a show that I really badly wanted to start... But because of a commitment as a VC to another guild, I still cant find time to set it up or open it... gonk

last year (i think), i almost started a "momo donation guild" the basic concept was that i would send a few gold to someone along with a message to pass it on, an invite to the guild, and a momo picture.
unfortunately, i didn't have the 20k at the time
