((I want to try having this as an ORP, because part of the point of Gypsy is going to new places and meeting new foxes who aren't, and won't become, members of the clan. However, if this doesn't work for whatever reason, then the next ones will be tribe-only PRPs.))  After more than a fortnight of waiting, Rina had finally given her clan the order to move out. The sensation of traveling was familiar and relaxing. But traveling with others was a new and odd experience for the elder. Odd, but nice, she had decided, after some while. It was definitely nice to be able to see the same foxes more often than a few times per year. Now she truly could have the best of both: the adventure of meeting new foxes, with the comfort of having old friends constantly near-by.
She had finally called for a halt near the edge of a forest, with a stream that rapidly ran through it. Here they would have fresh water, some seasonal berries, and perhaps even some meat to eat, all of which were important in the cold winter season.
Even better, near the edge of the woods, the snow thinned out, and then disappeared altogether, as the trees sheltered the ground from its fall. Bare ground was certainly better than snow for resting on.
Yes, this would be an excellent camp site for a day or two, while the clan relaxed, and became accustomed to traveling once again.

 Rime was perched atop a tree, staring absently into the sky like she usually did. She was watching the clouds roll past, her mind's eye looking into the space beyond. Her favorite hobby was stargazing, after all.
Her ears flicked in the direction of approaching feet, and her gaze soon followed. The group of foxes looked like travelers, so she decided it was okay to hop down a few branches and maybe speak with them.
"Out for a family outing?" she asked, sitting lightly upon one of the tree's lower branches.

 Aki pranced along, pausing here and there to observe the snow cover plants and trees. It was so nice to be on the move again. Though it was cold against her paws, Aki didn't really mind the snow. She liked the crunching rythem her tribe created. Sometimes she would hop, slow, or speed her steps just to create a new rythem in the snow.
She looked up as she heard Rina's hault. They were coming to a forest that wasn't covered in snow. Awesome. Aki continued to observe the surroundings when she heard a voice speak to them. She looked up to see a blue and grey vixen on a tree branch. Because she hadn't traveled with the Tribe for very long she was unsure how to greet the foxes they met on their way so she simply looked at Rina.

 Katie followed Shori as the two lagged some meters behind the rest of the clan. The two of them were somewhat more interested in each other than where they were going, since they had full faith in Rina that she would lead them to the perfect spot.
As they approached the forest she looked around, taking in the new surroundings. There was a damp smell about the place that reminded her of why she hated winter. At least it felt less cold as the snow seemed to fade beneath them. She could see more clearly the effects winter was having on the struggling undergrowth of the forest. She questioned Rina's guess at how much food would be available here but kept it to herself, it was still better than most other places to stop. Shori walked close with Katie. He too looked about the new forest, investigating it's potential for fresh meat. He knew it would be hard to catch any during winter seasons everywhere, but at least here was likely to attract an animal looking for shelter such as rabbits and badgers. even if they couldn't manage to find much food, he had some reserves in a small puch that both he and katie wore on all their journeys.
He spotted the female vixen in the tree before she even jumped down and spoke. He wanted to reply but thought he better let Rina have the honor.
He looked around to do a mental count of who managed to ctach up with the clan. Dancer was very far behind, playing in the snow, making shapes by rolling around and dancing. She had noticed Aki too was walking funny. Perhaps she was playing too she thought, but she was too far behind to hear what exactly she was doing.
She came to the edge of the forest as the others were begining to slow infront of her, it was then that she picked up pace to join them.

Rina stepped forward from the group, and approached the new fox.
"A clan outing," she clarified, nodding toward the amulet that they all shared.
She took in the appearance of the vixen, especially the lack of piercings or tattoos. She did not belong to a tribe, so the concern Rina had at first of trespassing was dissipated.
"Do you live here?" Rina asked, both curious, and wanting to make certain that they would not be imposing upon this vixen's home or hospitality.

"Ah..." Rime said, now just as curious as she suspected the white and purple fox must be. She cast a glance around the assembled foxes, noticing the shining gold medallions. "I don't live here, persay..." she began, looking back at the large fox. "I just sort of... wander around. The woods here have plenty of tall places with an excellent view of the sky." She shifted her weight on the branch and hopped down to the ground, landing lightly on her feet. "You're not intruding or anything, if that's what you're thinking." she added kindly.

As Aki listened to Rina speak with the dark vixen on the branch, she looked around to pin point the location of the stream nearby. She hadn't noticed until now how dry her mouth had been and since there was a stream, there was no reason to lick up some snow.
Seeing as how they weren't on owned lands and were in no danger, Aki turned to Katie, Shori, and Dancer.
"Would any of you like to come get a drink with me?"

"You are a wanderer as well, then?" Rina asked, curious now. Would perhaps this vixen be interesting in joining them on their wanderings?
Even if no, it was still fascinating to meet other foxes with other personalities, other beliefs, other cultures. One could always learn something from the strangers that one met on journeys. What did this blue and silver vixen have to teach them, Rina wondered?

"Don't they know what's happening? I should stop them...No I shouldn't, I should help him! Yes, yes...No, I can't hurt them! Don't make me..." Diablo muttered frantically to himself - literally.
Soon, the group into view and he grinned. Quickly silencing his 'other half', Diablo walked up to group and smiled respectfully at them, bowing his head.
"Hello,"

"Ah... In a way, I guess." Rime replied with a friendly smile. "I follow the moon and stars" she added, gesturing up at the open sky. "It holds many stories, many mysteries..."
"Of course... there's important things down here on the ground, too. Water, plants, other animals..." her voice trailed off as she looked into Rina's eyes. "Though I can tell you've traveled around a lot as well."

"Indeed we do: traveling is the basis of our clan, the Gypsy Clan."
Rina thought of what the vixen had said, of following the moon and stars. The very nature of this vixen made her think of her brother's people.
"Have you ever heard of the Lunarie Tribe? You remind me very much of a fox who belongs there," Rina stated.
She would have spoken more, but a new dog-fox had just arrived, and she ought to get to know him some, too.
"Greetings. My name is Rina, elder of the Gypsy Clan. What brings you here, to this place?"

"I had to stop-help-save-greet you," Diablo stuttered out, blinking rapidly at the much-larger fox. This might be hard-easier than he'd thought...
"What's your name, where are you going?" Diabo asked, his manner going from stuttering to direct in a flash. "Are you going to them? You can't save them, it's too late," There was an evil glint in his eye, but it evaporated quickly, replaced by something that might've been fear.
"You can't save them, it's too late! Don't try, please, don't..." He begged, letting out a low whimper. However, he cut himself off and said coldly, "It's far too difficult for any of you to do, anyways. They can't be saved...No matter how I try, they can't be saved!" He finished, his voice an octave higher again.

Rime blinked and cocked her head slightly at the mention of the Lunarie Tribe. "I have..." she muttered to no one in particular, blinking again and shaking her head a little.
She looked at the red fox and listen to his rather confusing speech. then stepped forward toward him. "Is there something wrong...?" she asked, uncertain if this fox was feeling all right or not.

Aki walked over to the stream and lapped up some water. She shivered as the cold water slid down her throat. Yes, it was cold, but she felt much better after having a drink. Once she was satisfied she walked back to the group to see a new male standing there. He seemed troubled. Or like a part of him was troubled.
She inched her way closer to him, trying to get a feel for his aura. It was constantly changing. Interesting. Slightly confused, Aki waited for the red male to speak again so that she could try again to figure him out.

"What are you doing?" Diablo hissed, pulling away from the rainbow'd female. He could sense her doing something, and HE didn't like it.
"No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean...Don't..." Diablo said quickly, letting out a low whine, though it was quickly cut off. "Don't do that again," He said, his voice harsh again. His eyes moved from fox to fox to fox, fire-patterned tail swishing behind him.
Suddenly, he let out a laugh; and it wasn't a good laugh either. It was the disturbing laugh that rattled the bones and scared birds out of trees (Diablo jumped when a group of ravens squawked and flew off a nearby branch).
"Youuuuu can't sssaavee theemmm," Diablo taunted, grinning wickedly now. "No matter what you do, you can't save them...Nobody can!" When he finished, his voice was high and whimpering again, and he looked more pleading that terrifying. "Please, help me...No one can help me!" He let out another cackle, throwing his head up to the sky. "No one can help them either!"
