I know. xd My bf and I were talking about just that the other day. I wish I could help Anders (after dragging Althena and everyone out of the Chantry and then blowing it up). May not have the same effect as "OMG that crazy apostate-abomination just blew up the Grand Cleric!", but it'd still get their attention. xd
*nods* It's helpful, and the books are very well written! It looks like we'll get some templar perspective from Cullen (and maybe Cassandra too). And, from what I've seen in trailers/previews they do a good job summing up all the book info that you need to know through dialogue.
Haha! It was a long and hard fought battle to make Carver like me. He really tried not to.
It looks like they've definitely learned from their past issues with Mass Effect (and the shortcomings of Dragon Age 2), I think they said there were over 140 minor endings to the game and 5 or more major endings (I can't remember the exact numbers). It should be exciting! I can't wait to play. xd
Same here. I like that he started caring enough to do something. I just wish there was a way to talk him down... Or to at least drag Althena kicking and screaming out of the Chantry.
One of my problems though... If you look at the sequence of events from Awakenings to 2, I think Anders is in two places at once. XD (whoops). Probably just a minor miscommunication there. xd
I completely understand and I'm right there with you! xd I kind of get the Templar's perspective a bit better after reading Dragon Age: Asunder. One of the main protagonists is a templar that thinks the mages should be given more freedoms, but at the same time they need to be protected from the people on the outside that think all mages are evil and they need to be protected from... well, turning into blood mages. xd She sees a need for the circle, but she also sees that it needs fixing. biggrin And, you get a bit on how the templars are leashed to the Chantry too (if you didn't get that from Alistair in DA:O).
I have my own thoughts on how I'd set up the Circle. xd
I shall! I'm working on a Merrill romance currently. whee Sebastian's romance is okay, it's fun to make him feel awkward. whee He won't stay with Hawke or even kiss her though. xd
I actually got Carver most of the way on the friendship scale once, and yeah. I sent him to the Wardens. xd Usually even if you let things go naturally they'll progress well enough. whee That's what I typically do. And yep, sarcastic Hawkes usually equal a perfect Varric frenship.
I usually have a friendship with Anders, Aveline, Varric and Fenris; a semi-friendship with Merrill; and a rivalry with Sebastian and (sort of) with Isabella, and then a friendship with Bethany or Carver (mostly at least).
Yep. Anders went nuts. I blame Justice. And I really wish that there was a way to talk him out of it. D: He was such a cool character (and I loved him more in Awakenings, I will admit that). My first Hawke ran away with him. xd I've only killed him once (because Hawke was in a romance with Sebastian and he was pissy). Usually I tell him to leave and never come back or get him to help me fight along side the mages. I've only sided with the Templars once, but I may have to go through that ending a few more times).
Yeah. :/ That made me mad too. HEY! Orsino?!? We're helping YOU! Don't kill us, kill the templars! And Meredith... She was on the crazy horse from the get-go... Even Cullen thought so. eek
I'll just get Hawke to seduce her on one of my play throughs. xd That should help. I think my problem is, I try to help everyone... And I hate asking for bribes/extra money, which always messes me up with her. My big accomplishment with my last run through was getting Fenris, Anders, Sebastian, Merrill, Aveline, and Carver to all like me (Carver is the hardest, for me at least). emotion_8c
They really are! XD I liked Bethany/Isabella/Merril in the first act. That was always amusing as well! XD
Ah. That bit. I still like Anders quite a lot, even if he is a bit off his rocker. XD I love their arguing too. It's even better with Sebastian (though, he's part of an extra DLC). Sebastian can be a bit of a p***k though.
I still haven't gotten Isabella to stay after Act 2. XD
Not too much, thankfully. XD It does eat up a lot of my time though.
Aw, very cool! biggrin Haha, I still like Anders a lot. X3 And Fenris too. Varric has got to be my favorite though.
Hey there! Hope you're doing well! :3 Sorry I haven't been on much lately (I've semi-abandoned my thread since school started back). D: I'll have to revive it when I have a break. XD

UGH. I'M SO EXCITED FOR INQUISITION!
