Hello, everyone ^^ I hadn't seen a topic like this one, so I decided to make one.
Does anyone here like to wear anything to symbolize their inner furry? What is your opinion on wearing anything? Do you have any questions/tips about fursuits, ears, tails, or other accessories?
Personally, I like to wear ears and a tail. I already have a tail, but I'm having some ears custom made. I might be interested in making a fursuit later on, for furry conventions.

There are several really great sites that show how to make fursuits. I'd recommend having THESE guys do the work for you if you've got the dough to spare. Personally, I'd love a tail...a real tail. For as long as I can remember, I'd wanted a tail. Dressing in suit might just make it worse for me, but I'd still love to try it out.

Hehe, I've always wanted ears and a tail, but I'm thinking about having a fursuit made to express my inner furry. =3

It was really hard for me to find white wolfie ears. Most of the ears you see on sale are black kitty ears. I had to get some custom made (they're still being made, but I'm hoping to get them soon). Id like a fursuit, but they tend to be majorly expensive sweatdrop I'd have to save up to either order one or make one...

You may be able to find someone to make it cheaper, but4-5 grand is the average I've seen so far.

I have seen them cheaper, but they looked terrible sweatdrop You really get what you pay for when it comes to fursuits.

I don't think I'd ever dress in a full fursuit... just for the heat factor... I don't do heat well... but I'd love ears and a tail, like everyone. I think having a real tail might help Atsu know when I'm angry. Nothing more obvious than a puffy tailed kitty... Unless you're a long-hair... hmmm... sweatdrop
I have a pair of hair clip black kitty ears from HotTopic... but currently, I can only find one. My daughter even wore them to school for Halloween 07 (complete with eyeliner whiskers)... but the ears were yanked out as soon as she was through the front door... *sigh* at least the teachers got a quick glance.

I've started making my own furry gloves! I found some really good tutorials on YouTube. I'm also planning on trying to make a partial fursuit for me, and a full fursuit of Vaporeon...
EDIT: I have one glove completed 3nodding EDIT EDIT: Both are done now!

I want a suit. :3 But I know they're expensive. Even though it wouldn't even be a full outfit for my virtual 'sona Kimeira. Just the head, gloves, tail, wings, and feet, because the rest of her is hidden beneath a sweet Matrix-like uniform that a good buddy of mine designed for her appearance in his comic series. I wanna do animatronic wings so bad, though. xD
But I've designed several potential tattoo designs, of which I would only have one, and most of them are tribal-inspired/based. ^^
But I don't currently wear anything that symbolizes my creature(s) within. x3

I was thinking about getting a fursuit. I would like a real tail like Atsu. I wear a collar with a gold charm with the names of my mate and me on it right now.

I've got a purple collar. I wear it at school pretty much everyday.
I get a lot of "why the ******** is that kid wearing a collar" from other people.
I always tell them they wouldn't understand. It's gotten to the point where I feel uncomfortable when I don't wear it. I might get a suit some day. Not a full body. Probably from Lacy. Their expensive but really good. Also Atsu I think you've got a broken link there wink

But there are certain times that I have to take it off. Like going to job interviews or work. Actually work isn't so bad cuz I wear a tux shirt and a tie so my neck has that feel to it. But other times... Strangely enough, I don't get asked why I wear a collar. This city has seen stranger stuff. A transvestite has ran for mayor. He even has his own toy line out. So someone wearing a collar isn't all that weird. Hell. The city's motto is "Keep ____ Weird" Yeah. I left it blank. I still have my contest going on you know. There are transvestites and cross-dressers everywhere. It is legal for women to be topless. Men wear skirts. People wearing collars isn't a big deal.
