Doomed To Give 'til Our Toes Fall Off's
first annual SECRET SANTA gift-giving event!

Who: All members and non-members! For the remainder of the holiday season, we will be unlocking the guild so that everyone may participate in the festivities. Bring your friends~

What: Secret Santa. Everyone knows the concept of Secret Santa, right?

Where: Right here, in the D2GtoTFO guild!

When: Registration to participate opens on December 5, 2008 and runs until December 21, 2008 at 6:00 pm PST. Gift-giving will take place from December 24th to the 26th.

How: Please register to participate here. You must register to be able to participate in this event. If you would like to participate, please PM Worst December by December 23rd.

Why: T'is the season. You know you want to.

I would like to dedicate this event to my sissy, Sugary Coco Puffs. She was formerly known as iTitanic.
This event was originally her idea back in the summer to early fall months.
As of November 29, 2008, she has decided to stop playing on GaiaOnline for personal reasons.
Miss you and love you so much, Sissy. <3

Rules and Regulations:

-Please make sure that the gift you are giving has a total value of at least 5k (5,000 gold).
This is not the garbage dump; give things with a decent value. If you are gifting game items (ie: ink, bugs, trash, flowers, fish bait...), please couple it with something else.

-Yes, you may "be Santa" to more than one person. Please follow the directions in the registration thread.

-Random gifting is allowed. You do not have to stick to your assigned person, but you do need to get something for the person who has been assigned to you.

-You can remain anonymous when you give your present if you choose to. Checking the anonymous box before sending, however, is NOT required, so if you'd like the receiver to know who his or her Santa was, leave it unchecked. It's entirely up to you!

-You need to sign up in the registration thread to participate. DO NOT CONTACT MODERATORS TO SIGN UP.
*IF YOU MISSED SIGN UP, PM WORST DECEMBER BY DECEMBER 23.*

-When receiving something, remember gratitude.
I shouldn't have to say this, but I'm saying it anyway.

What to Get
-Don't know the person too well? Why don't you check out his or her profile for a wishlist? People also like to place their quests in post formats and signatures, so look around for hints.
-If you're not a good stalker, just get something that you think he or she would like. Ultimately, it's the thought that counts.

*This goes the other way too; it would be great if you updated your wishlist or posted it somewhere. (;

Points of Authority
This event is hosted by the guild, but is being managed by Worst December.

At the moment, no one else in particular has a major role with this. This section will be updated if/when that changes.
