I worked all day and night on election day. I know law says that the employer HAS to let me go, but I refused. If I had left, I wouldn't have met any of my deadlines. Responsibilities over Rights. However, my vote would have been for Obama. I prefer his plan for taking care of America over McCain's which was just a re-worded Bush promise. Also, Obama wants to eliminate lobbyists, which I'm a fan of. Businesses shouldn't have any say in how to run the country, the people of the country should. Plus, since the American goverment bought AIG (insurance company), thus saving thousands of people's investments, this is a favor that can be called in when the chips are down. Plus our country OWNING the single largest insurance company in the world, could help the waning health/life insurance problems we are currently facing.
On the other side, both vice-prez candidates are totally screwed in the head an don't trust them one bit.

I didn't vote, mainly because I have two young children to tend to and couldn't imagine standing in line (like I had to four years ago) with a three month old and a two and a half year old, but I also I refuse to choose between the lesser of two evils.
The way I see it we were damned no matter who was chosen.

I didn't vote either. Partially because I forgot and partially because I don't pay attention to politics.
And quite honestly, I didn't care who won, as long as they don't screw up the country.
