hi utter kaos here i started a petition and i wanted everyone here at GIB know about it . its Here its a petition to request anouther RP Zurg like event i would like as many people to sign it and to spread the word about it thank you all for your time

I don't know about it... the Zurg event caused a lot of drama, and seriously messed with my sleeping schedule. As in, I only got about five or six hours sleep most nights for a couple of months. And it messed with the sleep of some of the devs too, understandably.
And like I said, there was so much drama... and the people most highly regarded by the other players were those that attended specific events, or were high-up repersentatives of their particular groups, or who had special links to NPCs... remember the Sorn MSN thing? That really annoyed a lot of people, who felt that the plot should at least be kept within Gaia.
And then there were the masses of people who couldn't use Towns, or didn't have the time to get involved in a group or spend days waiting for UFOs in Towns. If a similar event occured, I doubt I'd get involved, simply because I can't afford to waste so much time anymore.
Or, more likely, I'd end up getting involved, and I'd fail uni. Because I'm terrible at managing time when there are distractions available (like right now gonk )
Then again, if it wasn't for that event I doubt that I'd be into Gaia as much as I am today, or that I would have continued playing after my accounts were banned. So... I don't know.
I'll probably sign.

Brains.... I don't think a new alien is coming anytime soon. Remember, guys, the zOMG! work began in earnest during fall 2006, which means that a lot of work was going on during, and right after, the Zurg event, and that means there would likely be references to it.
And I'm still doing Remo's quests ;.; Brains....

There's the pack of Predator Pups that came through the warp portal - I suppose they might count as new aliens. They aggro you, so I guess they aren't peaceful x.x

A scouting party from an highly technological race of beings came to our planet and were stranded here. Unfortunately for them, despite their vastly superior weaponry and armor, they are the size and appearance of small prairie dogs
