ok, after much pressure from friends, I finally rented the Ruins, Unrated,
I saw it with my sis and I predicted it would be ok, like a C+ or somethin' but boy did it suck, the plants are attacking, oh no confused mad rolleyes The Happening did a way better job of attacking plants, the acting was bad and the horror sequences were bland, all in all a waste of time and my friends were shocked to hear how much I disliked the movie
any thughts? anyone want to debate me?

i was going to watch it but it was too late and i wasn't allowed to. my friends said that it scared the crap out of them, but then again, these are the same friends who were afraid of the ring. haha, no offense to those of you who may actually have been afraid of that retarded movie. but i also heard it sucked, so until it's on the tv or my cousins rent it or somehting, i'll go without seeing it.

Ehh, I watched the ruins when I was first getting into horror movies since I was scared of watching them for the longest time, but I thought it was pretty lame. Especially the ending.
It was disappointing really ... I was hoping for something that would have me scared to death but ... stare
Guess not.

Oh they went on a holiday. Oh they go somewhere creepy. Oh they get attacked. Been there, seen that. I'm sick of movies like that. Half of what makes them so bad is that it's BEEN DONE. MANY TIMES. STOP IT ALREADY.

I agree.
I got told time and time again how wonderful it was and how much I'd love it. What a pile of s**t. I thought it was one of the most boring films I'd ever sat through.
And just to make it that bit more annoying, I had someone sitting next to me watching my every expression to see whether or not I was enjoying it. lol

I saw the unrated one too!
It was horrendous.
Worse than the entire Twilight book series put together!
Yeah.
Highlight for spoiler:
I mean, Really!? Plants?!
Now, The Happening had almost the same antagonist, but it was way better.
because it was an M. Night Shamalan flick, and therefore must be awesome.
