So, Solia Online's new, a remake of Gaia. It's still new to the interwebs, and doesn't even have any games yet. But, it has a decent user base going into it. So what I'm wondering is, should the expand the G.I.B into Solia Online when they get their guild/clan systems up and running, and when they get at least a mild storyline going? I know, not the brightest of ideas, but it could give us something new to work with while Gaia's still waiting for a Manga update. PS. Solia Online's website is at this link. I've already set up an account there out of boredom, no viruses or scams there.

I'd rather not have the GIB associated with a crappy imitation.
Not to mention their avatars look like s**t

Eh, I actually only got it confused because of it's emoticon pack for posting. Gaia and Solia both have the same basic, generic emoticon packs that come with the basic forum. It's mostly a mirror image of Gaia when it was first starting out. Buggy, low population, and hardly any good items. It could actually be a great place after it gets some work done on it. But no, not really a Gaia imitation, just a new, starting game that has great potential.
Edit: Zi, you have to choose your base and stuff in the edit menu, in the inventory list, which is linked at the top of the page. You can change it at any time, if you have the specific base and stuff you want to use.

I was taken in by their razzle-dazzle promotional art, but I really don't like the avatars very much. Not too interested in joining.

I like the avatars. And I think they're doing pretty well considering the site is so new.

I am on Solia Online and 2 other sites as well.
Solia Online is a nice community and great people to talk to.
Well, I do like starting out just in newbie cloths, which I am still wearing it since I join, with other shiny collectibles on me.

I like the site. I already joined so it's kinda cool. It's sorta what Gaia was like when first made. I don't think it's an imitation what so ever.
But no, no GIB there please, unless it calls for it.

Hmm, they're looking for Beta testers, kind of like the Gaia's SCAS group. They need to sign an NDA, also. This should be good.
