Personality: Zehn is a hard personality, stubborn and highly formal. As an ex-military dog, she has a high understanding of combat and training and takes most matters seriously. She looks down on dogs who are loudly adverse to humans, feeling it is an immature way of acting, preferring to just avoid the contact, slip away, or fight away rather than making a loud fuss.
She has a respect for humans, having been around them for most of her life, and has a dry sense of humor on the rare occasions that it shows.

History
Zehn was born of a German military dog and a selected breeding b***h. In a litter of five, she and her brother were the only ones to become military dogs like their father. For a good while, she was the alpha, leading her small pack into battle with their human companions.
When an unfortunate accident during a field exercise left her blind in her left eye, the military discharged her into the household of a wealthy diplomat. At first she took well to this, but eventually tired of the posh life forced upon her and the young children always around her.
In a blatant act of insubordination, she left the house and fled to the wilderness.

Personality: He's mostly arrogant and proud among other pets. He knows he has a darn good life and does everything possible to keep it.
Towards strays and wild dogs, however, he's a little more kind. He's heard the "horror stories" of life outside of the homes of humans and does his best to give them bits of his food when he can. Goodness knows he doesn't need food ruining his figure.

History
Aubert was purchased from a Russian breeder, along with a few of his siblings (Including his brother Gaston) by a dog show trainer of Japanese origin. While his sister and youngest brother were sold to other people, he and Gaston were groomed and pampered to be the best. Aubert, himself, won his first two shows.
However, an unfortunate technicality found him as well as a few other dogs disqualified from his third show. He sees this as a major blow to his pride and refuses to talk of it, becoming defensive whenever it is brought up.
Despite this, he still holds out that at the next show he'll come back, better then ever, and wipe the floor with the other dogs.
Home/Owner
Oshiro Tsubaki is the wife of wealthy businessman Oshiru Akuma. Tsubaki is an older woman with three grown or nearly-grown children. She purchased Aubert to give her something to do when she wasn't on her husband's arm. Among people outside of the family, she is a hard, stern woman, as calculating as her husband and as haughty as her pet. But within the family household, she is a caring woman who enjoys painting and smiles often.
She cares deeply for her pet and can spend hours just brushing his coat. Several of her paintings are of him.

Lenwae has suffered a lot in her short life and she tries her best to be strong, especially for her companion Zodiac. She tries to be the best to help him, but it turns out that more often than not it's the other way around. She isn't afraid to rely on him, but she is greatly untrusting of others.

Personality: Happy/Loyal
Aysu is adorably cheerful and upbeat. She likes giving affection to most, especially if it gains positive attention, as well as playing games and cuddling her stuffed toys. She's status-blind, unable to see the difference between wild, stray, pet, and pedigree dogs, and is quite vocal about it when need be.
Despite all of her cheerfulness and kind attitude, she is no push-over physically. She may have been the runt of her litter, she is still a good sized dog and is very protective of her friends and family.

History
Aysu was born to a favorite breeding pair of a Chinese breeder living in Tokyo. Her siblings would no doubtabley go on to win prizes in various dog shows , however Aysu was born a runt of a most unusual color. Unfit to carry on the pedigree, she was sold to a petshop within the city. It was there that a young man came, looking for a pet for his six-year-old, a little girl of fluctuating health. The shop owner handed him Aysu almost immediately after the man asked about the puppies available, as if the shopkeeper had known exactly what he had been looking for in a pet.
Aysu was named for her deep, water-colored eyes and the pale moon-like color of her fur. She was brought home to live in a modest, two bedroom home in a small town about an hours drive from the city to live with the man and his daughter, with tutors within the residence for most of the day, teaching and watching the child while her father was at work. The stunted retriever soon learned her place at the bottom of her mistress' bed.
