So obviously we're all fans of Remus/Sirius here, and we've all read our fair share of fanfics. And obviously, each fanfic is different. Whether it's our two favorite pups dancing around the topic and finally going "I love you!" "I love you too!" or it's a fic where their relationship is set in stone, and they're encountering a rough experience, having a moment of fluff, or just generally on the side lines while Harry goes to save the world and gets over the fact that yes his godfather is gay and yes he is in a relationship with his ex-professor.
Either way, some how, some way, at some point in time these two start a relationship (unless you're a fan of the unrequitted love) My question is how and when?
What is your favorite scenario for our two pups finally realizing for the first time--holy hell they're gay and in love with one another (what will their mothers say?)
And when is your favorite time period for our two pups to first get together? (before the shack incident, after the shack incident, after school before Azkaban, or after Azkaban?)

As usual, because I'm one gaia at hours when I should be sleeping, I will post first.
Sirius and Remus' first kiss...I always sort of imaged it being sometime during fifth year. Having the mental image of Dee and Ryo like Sirius and Remus as teens, I picture Sirius kissing Remus and just walking away as if nothing had happened, meanwhile, Remus is left to freak out.
Of course, I love stories where they get together shortly after Goblet of Fire or even during Order of the Phoenix (most of those though are the ones that make me cry).
Um...if I think of anything to add...*shrugs*

I have always, always, imagined them getting together during school (due in part to the image of them singing Chicago songs on preformance for the school, but never mind).
Their first kiss I actually see as something Remus initates, like Remmie I say in fifth year. He just suddenly snaps under all the sexual tension one day and kisses Sirius. It's great!

Never really thought about it much but I could definately see Sirius pulling a Dee, as Ex-Professor said.
I can see a dramatic fanfic resorting from it..
Sirius, quite 'innocently,' kisses Remus. Remus takes it slightly out of proportion, doesn't think his best buddy is taking it seriously [ Black! ] and this resorts as a bit of a problem.. To which then Sirius proves that he is serious [ Black! ] and then the end of our confrontation.. A happy ending for all. [ Except for Severus, who is likely terrorized in the fanfic in question. ]
=O Actually, I think that was a fanfic..

Although I enjoy stories where they're together during school, I always pictured the "realisation" taking place sometime after GoF. I have trouble reconciling the whole Sirius-suspected-Remus thing with a prior "love" relationship. I have read some fics that deal with this issue, but not many.
Anywho, in my world they get together just after GoF, when Sirius is told to "lie low at Lupin's." I have a whole AU fanfiction world built around this, including past and future history.

*coughs and smiles* In my opinions.. They start to notice eachother in that way during their 5th year James and Peter have gone home for Christmas leaving the pups together alone to amuse them self. There's a school snow ball war in which Remy gets pegged in the face with a snow ball and falls backwards. Siri not noticeing Remus slips and falls directly on top of him. Remus turns his head and blushes. Sirius has a notion and acts on impulse .. kissing remy.. remy freaks and runs back to the dorms. Huge fight... Things being broken over Siri's sesky black head, and then some heavy snogging. ^.^

I just like to imagine them in school. Ah, those were the best times, yes they were. =/
The kind I always like to imagine - and in one way or the other, is ALWAYS the base I use for my fics crying ~ - is being told by one of them two point-of-view of how he start to realize he loves the other one, but of course he's afraid of that feeling (OMG I'm gay eek ), and of course is pretty sure his friend doesn't feel the same way. At the end he discovers it's not like that, and there's the part I like to vary biggrin
But that's just the plain main and most simple idea. My fics turned out to be very different from that. But that's just how I like to imagine it XD

im thinking when theyre still at hogwarts, after becoming animagus, before james hooks up with lily, after lupin gets over his crush on james. sirius makes the first move, though slightly joking, and rem has been crushing for a while. ifrs tkiss happens three days after the third outing as animagus+werewolf, when siruis gets hurt and lupin is scared half to death that sirius is either dead, bitten, or angry wiht him when remus wakes from his transformation on hte floor of the shrieking shack with siruis bleeding at his feet... sorry for the bad spelling i am in a hurry...

My favourite "I love you/Kiss" fanfics are really angsty ones, where one/or both of them is really upset for some reason, and the other comes to find them... And then its like ZOMG I LUV U!!11!!! except nothing like that at all... ninja

Okay, once again, due to the lack of participation (HKBlack, Graphiti_Skies, and Basil_Hallward not included) the contest will not be ended as of yet. Because, it is unfair that someone should win simply by default. It's not even a contest if we just have two entries or one entry in either of the contest. sweatdrop
So...because of that, I refuse to begin the judging or handing out prizes until after we have recieved five submitted entries in both competition. If say, we get five fanart submissions before the fanfictions, then we will open that contest up for judging. Vice versa. So yeah... stressed

I would definately have to say that I pictured them getting together during school. Most likely 4th or 5th year.
As for the kiss.. I think Sirius would be the first to move, although you never know, you have to watch the quiet ones razz
