Because heavens, you're not writing ALL the time? ...are you? If you are, I want your secret.
For the rest of us, we all have or should have other creative or amusing things which we use to occupy our good time. For much the same reason this forum has a "Visual Stimulation" thread. You have to keep the other parts of your brain working too!
I think most of us read- so if you hate to read, you should tell us about that!
As I often rant about in my journal, I love ball-joint dolls. I have twelve. I enjoy taking pictures of them and doing evil things pertaining to them and the dolls of others xd . I also love to sew- although I am not very good at it. I taught myself to sew using Japanese sewing books (which I hoard).
I don't watch a lot of Western television. Mostly Law and Order. There are some anime I keep up with on Veoh. But I kind of loose track of them a lot!
I cook too. I wish I was better at it.
I would love to learn how to draw, but my spatial reasoning skills are awful. I can't even trace anything well!
Considering my skillset, I do admit that I love to write about characters being domestic ^.^. BUT I ALSO LOVE TO WRIT ABOUT BLOWING STUFF UP. For the same reason.

- at work
- watching tv whilst eating, there's nothing decent on that would make me want to watch tv any other time
- playing gw
- dealing with family matters
- moving THE cat off my lap
- leaving posts on forums (like now)
- reading

Writing is basicly my Default, its what i do when i have nothing else to do. So I suppose i would be the exact opposite of the description. Writing is what i do when i'm not at work or running, or training animals

I've been working on my time-management when it comes to writing, I've worked out a schedual for it. I write for about five ours every morning - and I wake up at 4am to do it. sweatdrop It's never more quiet than it is at four in the morning.
When I'm not writing at ungodly hours, I watch TV (Law and Order SVU is my obsession), I read (duh), I teach karate, I work on the advertisement stuff for Cochran's Ultimate (karate) Weapons, I practice my karate stuffs, I play with my dog, I dance, I sing (in the shower), I spend way too many hours in the Science Fiction section of Borders, I go bar-hopping with friends in Philly, and I stress over money.
Fun!

-Outside (During the summer)
-Playing video games (Mario Kart Double-Dash!!)
-In school
-Hanging out with some friends
-With my boyfriend
-OR eating. Yes, I eat, ALOT. (no I am not fat ><")

I usually write all day.
But when I go back for further education for Sixth Form I'm going to be doing that.
I do read though if I'm not writing. Or play Final Fantasy.

When I'm not writing I'm thinking about writing, like, almost all the time. Well, not so much thinking about writing, but thinking about stories... and how I have to get them out somehow, usually by writing. But it's usually the story I think of, like, all the time..
I also waste way too much time on the net. I hang out with friends some times, but... not a whole lot, really. Actually, at this moment in time I happen to have no job (I saved up a lot) and no college, and no commitments... if I really wanted to I could be writing like 15k a day. Or like, 25k a day. Seriously. But um... I don't. I have so many insecurities that get in the way of me writing... oh wow, now I feel like banging my head against the wall in frustration!! I cold be writing soooo much!!! gah.
As for other hobbies... I used to play the flute a lot but I haven't lately for some reason. I used to have a quartet that I sang with, but we had to split up... but most of my friends used to be in the same barbershop chorus as the one my quartet was in, so when we get together we sometimes just burst out into harmony. It's fun.
But yes... I really, really should just commit this chapter of my life to writing. I know it won't always be like this, so I really should take advantage.

When I'm not writing, I'm either on Gaia or deviantArt (where my username is flamingchibi), drawing, reading mainly fantasy and fiction novels, working on my art skills or my Princess Mononoke cosplay for the New York Anime Festival.
Also, if you want to know about the month of July, working at my job which is a musical theater program. Other then those things mentioned before, hanging with my friends, watching movies, planning my Sweet 16 are all other things I do in my spare time.

I had a fancy dress party 16th. My dad dressed as a fat biker chick, it was hilarious. And I was a kinky vampire, with really sexy gothic PVC boots and a great vamp dress.
