Mine stays the same year-round unless there's a theme day. For the most part, they match.

I tend to use a lot of red, black and white with my avatar. But every so often I get inspired by an item of a different color.

I loove nonmatching style. It's like, very cluttered, and centered around clothing items and not too many back items or hand items. So the overall flow of the avatar stays smooth. When I'm nonmatching though, I do tend to make SOME things match but not on purpouse, cause I stick to warm or cool earthy colors.
