I suppose this could apply to games of any console, but since I'm a DS addict, that's where my own personal focus is in this discussion; anyone is free to give their input though with their own console games!
When you haven't invested in proper storage cases for your games, how do you store/transport your games?

You're something beautiful... I don't. emo I've actually already lost several DS games because they're so small. I usually keep them in the cases if they're not in my DS or not in my case, but I can't find the cases. And for the cases I have found, they're empty! gonk
I need to keep myself organized.
But as far as my Wii and PS2 games, I keep them in a little compartment below our TV and the others on shelves with our DVDs. A contradiction...

For me, I'm sure this isn't the brightest of ideas but since I can't afford to buy those little plastic cases for all my DS games, what I do is I just toss them all into a ziplock plastic baggie. Having over 20 games now, it's a little crowded, but hey, at least they won't get lost! I used to keep them in the cases before I started taking my DS with me everywhere, and I'm SO a**l about wanting all my games with me if I have that there, since I never know what I'll be in the mood to play. Naturally, 20-something boxes won't fit into my purse. lol But I digress. I know darn well if I kept them outside the cases and NOT in a bag or something, I'd probably lose em in about 5 minutes! Which will probably be the case when my sister gets one for her bday in a few months... rolleyes

I store all of our console games in some drawers near the SNES/N64/Wii. The only ones out on a regular basis are a game to keep the SNES/N64 from getting dusty and a stack of whatever we were recently playing on the Wii.
For handhelds, I never carry around more than a couple of games to begin with. I usually just add a GBA game to the DS box(es) of whatever I'm working on and transport it that way. If, for whatever reason, I want to play older Gameboy games, I put them in a pocket of whatever I'm using to carry them around.

I keep my games in the larger cases in a crate that comes with me whenever I move, or in a tidy-ish pile on the floor near the console. With my DS games, I keep them in the little plastic cases, or at least in my travel case, in which my DS lives.

Most of my games are in a game room in each one of it's cases in shelves, and when I use my psp and ds, which is always my most used are with me

my games are just kept in their cases and stacked on top of each other on a shelf. I really should find a better place for them, though, because the cases get all nasty and dusty. ;3;
and I don't really have any handhelds. I have a GBA, but pretty much all the games I had for it are long gone (probably due to not having a good place to keep them).

For the most part, I have my games in a central location. But, through the numberous moves and pesky brothers, I've lost track of my DS, GB, and GBA games. They turn up eventually but my worst fear is finding out that someone left a game in their pocket and it going through the wash. gonk

I do what most people do with their disc games: put them in a shelf in the entertainment furniture.
Only problem is, that means they often mix with our DVD movies. sweatdrop
As for my computer games, since they're all pirated ninja , I burn them in DVDs and keep them in my Easy-To-Find Programs box. surprised
