there are like so many different pairings in the series and my favourite is Goku x Sanzo and i was wondering which one you people out there

Hmm... Sanzo/Goku, Hakkai/Gojyo... and Hazel/Sanzo... I can't narrow it down from there...

Because I love Hakkai. And the fact that Gojyo only saved Hakkai because Hakkai looked like he wanted to die amused me for no adequate reason.

Yes. And I know many people like/support SanzoxGoku but I can't really bring myself to pair them together without feeling like somewhat of a ***** >.< Goku has such a childish mind! Every time I think of him, I think of a little kid (which, yeah, I know he isn't but still!).
No offense to its supporters. I can totally see why such a pairing exists and I understand its appeal, I guess. It's just a bit...squicky, for my own tastes. sweatdrop

yeah but Goku's like 18 more if you wanna count the 500 year imprisonment and the years before plus Goku may act childish but he can be mature ....... sometimes stare

Goku acts as mature (or immature as the case may be...) as Gojyo half the time if you think about it. I mean sure he may call Gojyo a prevy water sprite for Gojyo's womanizing, but then again if Goku were say gay or denying his feelings he could be putting down Gojyo cause he has no problem doing what he wants.

SanGoku! Sanzo and Goku belong together. And Goku is as childish as the next Uke. Take Naruto for example. I'm sorry that you can't see it Kai because it really is a wonderful pairing and they even each other out quite nicely.
Actually, now that I think about it, Sanzo and Goku are a LOT like Sasuke and Naruto (in character)... eek ... no wonder I like that pairing so much! blaugh
