Well according to www.avatarspirit.net the first movie of the trilogy is set to be release July 2nd, 2010! Its supposed to be called "The Last Airbender". Apparently they dropped the Avatar part cus' of the movie coming out soon with the same name (which is stupid......ATLA was here first stare )
Someone in a different forum was saying that they were trying to release the last episode with the release of the movie......boy i hope they are wrong, that would totally suck crying
I'll probably watch the movie, but i'm really scared cus' M. Night is directing it......i really don't like that guy!!

That person must be on crack. Releasing the last episode two years later is the most retarded idea anyone has ever come up with.
. . . .I'm so going to see it xD

If Nick is smart they will not wait to release the last episodes along with the movie. ... ... We're doomed.
At the very least I know I will watch it at least once. I don't know if I would watch it in the theater though. Again that depends on how it looks and if I can find some of my friends to go along.
What I hope Nick understands is that they can show the last episodes now, show Avatar on a regular schedule (like once a week), and then when the movie comes out interest will go back up and they could probably show Avatar all week long for a while.

I'm glad Nick isn't. They're being released July 2008. If they need two years to make a movie they better not screw it up. stare Well, I'm still gonna see it. sweatdrop
What's it supposed to be about?

I know this is sort of stretching it, but I think it’s kind of funny how, if you go back and look at all the season start dates, they fall on the season and element the show is representing.
Book One Water-February Book Two Earth- March Book Three Fire-September
Then, since there’s so much emphasis on the ENDING of book 3 (considering it’s the ending of avatar in general), to have the book scheduled to conclude in summer… is clever… evil, but clever

No, when the comet is coming. I think fall is air, because it's so windy. And summer, fire. So that theory is not quite right.

Oh, for goodness sake, I am SICK of people saying "I'm going to see the movie, but I know I won't like it."
Expect the worst if you must, but is it so much to ask for you to hope for the best?
I know that M. Night's movies aren't for everyone. I'm a fan of his, and I'll be the first to admit that. But going into a movie thinking "I know I'm not going to like this because M. Night directed it" is just STUPID. Of COURSE you aren't going to like it if you go in with that attitude.
So I guess what I'm saying is: Suck it up, and be glad that you're getting more Avatar! If you're so convinced that you aren't going to like the movie, then just don't go see it! [/rant]
