First Gaian Anniversary Ball Unlike it's user-ran counterpart, the First Gaian Anniversary Ball was held one year later by the 'Richest man on Gaia', Jonnhy K. Gambino and his young son, Gino Gambino.
Other NPCs, such as Ian, Sasha and Ruby came to the party, and handed Gaian T-Shirts in sizes S,M and L. Gino would hand out two items, the Paper Party Hat and the Noise Maka, while his father would ocasionally give out gold.
Days after the event ended, the users recieved a Thank you for Attending photo with an autograph of Gambino.
The Admins made a whole forum for this event, which can still be found.

Second Gaian Annual Ball This time the Annual Ball was coordinated by a group of users led by Setzer, and were given a forum.
Gino came by and started giving out G Pins, asking for everyone to keep quiet because he wasn't supposed to.

Easter 2k4
The second Egg Hunt was a litle more complicated than it's predecesor. The Admins set up a forum were the Eggs would appear. Once you got enough, the "Easter Bunny"(Liam and Rufus) would go and hide an Easter Basket in one of the World's Map areas.
Inside the baskets you could find a Bunny or a Chicky Hat.

April's Fools 2k4 On this day, every user who logged into Gaia would find a pretty, cute little blue giftbox flying around their monitor. Unsuspecting and excited, people clicked onto their boxes to get their rare item, and...
This was the original Soot Face which, unlike the '06 one, was not an item. The Blue Gifboxes exploded and covered everyone's faces with black soot, which wouldn't leave until past midnight of that day.
That day was also the birth of the Invisibobs, avatars who were deleted before clicking on the fake giftboxes. They were very loved, but didn't last past the Avatar System's updates.

The Gaian Olympics The Gaian Olympics were hosted by Jonnhy K. Gambino soon after the creation of Durem. The racers were Ian, Moira, Sasha, Gino, Edmund and Leon. The Admins made a forum were they gave out White and Black Olympics T-Shirts; also, that's were gaians voiced who their favourite NPC was, that is, the winner of the race.
The Olympics were entirely held on the World's Map, to the point that Barton's, Island de Gambino's and Durem's maps were sligthy changed for this event.
The Gaian Encyclopedia Ian would stop racing from time to time to check out stores for bargins. Sasha got lost from time to time, and wound up taking the wrong path. Edmund stopped to flirt with a woman, and even quit the race to head to the closed down Personals building to have some private time with Vanessa! Johnny convinced Gino to cheat to uphold the pride of the Gambino family, so he took a hidden shortcut at the Durem Reclamation Facility on the way back. At the end. Moira finished first, second was Sasha, third was Ian, fourth was Leon, and in last places was Gino... Edmund was disqualified for leaving the race.
It was an event very different from all the previous ones, and even though it became very popular it never came back during the following years.

Halloween 2k4
The story behind the events transpired on Halloween 2k4 has it's beginning some time before October 31 - in fact, all started shortly after the release of the Guild System, when Jonnhy K. Gambino created a guild named G CORP. Who would've thought, back then, that G CORP would be the reason behind most (if not all) of Gaia's dangers.
During those days, Gambino hired 13 LabTechs who kept journals about their lives at the Facilities. They've been recopilated here, for all of your reading pleasures, along with Gambino's own http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=9835063]journal.
Through their journals we were able to understand what happened later, on Gambino's Mansion. As it turns out, Jonnhy was trying to create a cellular regenerating serum, that somehow mutated to enhance Gaian's capabilities (strenght, intelligence, speed, etc) and reduce their weakness, such as sleep or hunger. While testing it into the LabTechs, this mutated serum started to show some undesired side-effects. Sadly, it wouldn't be until the Halloween party that we would understand what it did.
Some days before the party, a mysterious character, LabTechX, appeared at the Marketplace, selling Vials of Unknown Liquid.
Finally, the day of the party came. The Admins once again made a forum to work as Gambino's Mansion. It was a very special day, because not only was it to celebrate Gino's birthday (funny thing, because Gino apparently wasn't born in October), but also to say goodbye to LabTech062, as he was retiring.
Something awful happened on http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=9832091]LabTech062's Retirement Party, and the true event finally started.
The Zombies invaded the mansion, and Jonnhy gave guns to all the Gaians so they could protect themselves. In the case you were turned into a zombie, you could change back by using a Vial.
You could get four items: two as a human and two as a zombie. The Human Items were a Zombie G CORP T-Shirt and a Zombie G CORP Labcoat, and the Zombie Items were a Human G CORP T-Shirt and a Human G CORP Labcoat.
At the end of the event Gambino's bodyguard, Bucho, warned Gambino that the Silent Flash Protocol had been activaded, due to the level of infection. The Silent Flash turned out to be a Missile heading straight to the mansion - all Gaians scaped just before the mansion was destroyed; Jonnhy was thrown from the mansion and survived, but Gino was missing.
That's when Cindy Donovinh made her first appearance, as Gaia 9 News' reporter.
During all this conmotion, you could also Trick or Treat around the NPCs shops and search for Jack to trade the candies for items.
This was, without a doubt, the first large Event of Gaia.

Christmas 2k4 After the events that happened on Halloween, Jonnhy had been left without a house, without a fortune, and what's more, without a son.
During these days, Gambino's journal was updated with his search of Gino across Gaia - we've recopilated his quest here, for all of your reading pleasures.
Meanwhile, you could go caroling at the shops in exchange of items, and you could even kiss other Gaians under mistletoes.
