I've been thinking about this for the longest time (actually, ever since i read that thread that Vyce found Seori and Doomkillwer in) But whats the difference between a gentleman/ladie and a spineless wuss, and why do you think that?

I think that a gentleman/lady would stand up for the people they care about, even if they don't stand up for themselves. Whereas a spineless wuss would stand up for no one. So, basically a gentleman/lady would hold those around them in higher esteem than themselves. Something like that.
Edit: I didn't say why. Bad chiku! I would just say that it's because I view a crucial part of being a gentleman/lady as someone with enough self respect to work to defend others'. Something like that.

I already posted my stance on the matter. I think it'd be a good idea to link to it and/or quote the first post.

a true gentlemen/ladie know the proper way to treat people with a sence of respect and dignity. also a characteristic I admire is a ture gentlemen/ladie has no quams at all for standing up for another ladie/gentlemen if they are in trouble or just defending their honor 3nodding

Koiyuki I've been thinking about this for the longest time (actually, ever since i read that thread that Vyce found Seori and Doomkillwer in) But whats the difference between a gentleman/ladie and a spineless wuss, and why do you think that? The thread is here, guys. wink http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9449506The creator is someone who gives girls enough respect to where they can use him in any way they would like. This is something I would not do. I would have qualities of a gentlemen, such as opening doors, being very friendly, being calm and romantic and so forth. I would not give women the ability to use me though. So I think he is a spineless person, because I think he will get walked over if he has all his respect gone to women when they can do the same things to men as men do to women. (Cheating, lies, stealing, etc.) 3nodding Equal respect for both I say. But he's...meh. I decided not to join his guil;d if he ever made it. I don't like the guy too much. sweatdrop

Ya. I love that thread though, I met you and Seori there. Actually,. some guy donated 1000 gold to me thinking I made or was making the guild. I forgot his username and Lance Kagura hasn't replied to me back about getting the gold, so I wonder if I should just keep it? domokun
That thread is kind of funny though. He's getting compliments, but then being bashed at the same time.

I am a spineless wuss...
But I don't discriminate between being a spineless wuss to anyone. I'm like that with pretty much whoever I'm dealing with. *cowers*

Lord Vyce Funny thing is, I got nominated as a judge for the guild when I mopped the floor with the guy... Niiiice. So did they really start up a guild yet? I think just reading the posts from some of the doormats in the GD thread would be hilarious xd (please check out my posts in the link doomkillwer provided for my opinions on the topic)

I thought you said Mandingo was good? Hero to all women everywhere? Curse you for tricking me back in the old IPG, Vyce! >.<
On topic, I haven't checked out this here thread that's being mentioned. My stance is pretty much the same as Doom's, I think, though. There's being somewhat chivalric in certain things (ie, opening doors, lying a coat over a puddle, blah blah), but to completely give oneself up to the whims of a woman isn't being a gentleman. Vicey-versae for the opposite gender.
A gentleman/lady knows where the fine line is between being a tool and just being... well, a gentleman/lady.

I was getting tremendously confused, hearing Mandingo calling himself evil. And dreadfully worried that he would no longer be the hero to women everywhere.
