I've just been doing a bit of hunting around for stuff about The Mighty Boosh's live dates.
And I'm disappointed.
The closest one to me, is Newcastle Arena.
The arena is huge.
Therefore it won't be as much fun as it would in a smaller venue.
[I'm a rock ponce, I like my gigs small].
And to annoy me even more!!!
It's on 26th November 2008.
Just under a year away.
How am I supposed to wait that long?
I'm thinking of going to a date it Leeds too.
Theirs should be a bit smaller.
Is anyone else going to see them live?

It's a full comedy show!
It's basically an extended episode of the show which goes on for about 2 and a half hours.
The last one was so funny - and where they introduced the concept of the Nabootique.
[And on DVD, might be worth getting hold of].
Although they are talking about touring as a band at some point.
I'd go see them then too!

As a member of their mailing list, I have access to the pre-sale tickets, meaning if I'm online early enough, I could be front row!!!

Nah, but that'd be cool.

And that just happened to be one of the rather groovy surprise updates.
So I now have two tickets booked for the Newcastle date next year.
Can't wait!

Going to see 'em in Portsmouth, ooh yeah. I thought the closest they were gonna be was London which is like whole 2 hours drive away.. so.. happiness. ^_^
Waiting until next November, not so awesome, but it will be worth the wait. XD

Have you actually had seats allocated to you yet or are you on general admission?
I mean, I know you have the tickets but do they specify where you're at in the venue?
I've noticed a lot of us on pre-sale tickets don't know.
But my friend actually has a row already sorted for her.
I'm beginning to think I'm going to get crap seats.

I seriously hope that doesn't happen, I'm at one of the arena shows, I'll be stuck right up at the back, only able to see a glimmer of mirrorball suit flying back and forth.

o.o That would be heartbreaking. And the light would probably bounce off at just the right angle to sting your eye-pupil and then you'd have to watch the rest through only one working eye. Dx Good luck to us in having got decent tickets. =/

If you have the possibility to go see them live, you got to go! If I could, I would but I live in the wrong country ><
Anyway, sure it must be better in a small venue and in front row but it must be fun even if you're at the back because the ambiance must be so great and it's a occasion to meet other fans!
