Rank the first-series episodes of Torchwood, best to worst. Here's my list: (Explanations will come later)
1. Captain Jack Harkness (This is the gayest episode ever. Of course, by "gay", I mean "homosexual", which it undeniably is. It's certainly not bad. Far from it. I thought it was excellent. Catherine Treganna could well become Torchwood's Robert Holmes or Stephen Moffatt, if she writes just one more good episode (please don't screw up now!)) 2. Out of Time (Wow, unlike Greeks Bearing Gifts, this episode contains a romance that one can actually care about. Shocking, I know. And the suicide scene was both well written and acted. I was close to tears, I really was.) 3. Small Worlds (This is more an actual sci-fi and less of a hyperactive hour of people running about, shooting aliens and having sex. Not that there's anything wrong with the latter, but this is quite refreshing) 4. They Keep Killing Suzie (This episode is the only one that actually succeeds in being dark and mature, rather than just being splattered with mature themes for the sheer hell of it.) 5. Ghost Machine (It has Gareth Thomas in it. He was in Blake's 7, a really rather well-written, and incredibly poorly produced, sci-fi series from the 70's. How the man has aged) 6. Random Shoes (Sentimental and melancholy as hell, but I like sentimentality and melancholy. This one is an aquired taste.) 7. End of Days (Not very good, but enjoyable) 8. Countrycide (Same here) 9. Combat (Oh, I probably should have rated this episode higher. Oh well. Suffice to say, I think it's pretty good) 10. Everything Changes (Predictable, but still watchable and rather enjoyable) 11. Cyberwoman (This episode gave me a headache. Advice: if you want to enjoy the episode, IGNORE THE PLOT!) 12. Day One (A lot of shagging. Probably too much for the early-ish timeslot it was shown in in Australia (this was shortly before the time changed to midnight the following night. I wonder why...)) 13. Greeks Bearing Gifts (Two decent plots that didn't gel together. A pity. It could have been a good episode)

Um... Ok. I'll give it a go. And I will try and justify my grouping.
1. Greeks Bearing Gifts (Tosh Is so cute and innocent. And Mary is so cool!) 2. Captain Jack Harkness (Poor Jack and poor....Other Jack?) 3. They Keep Killing Suzie (Villains always need a plan B and Suzie is cool) 4. End of Days (Giant Monsters...In Cardiff? (Also, Jack snogs Ianto!)) 5. Cyberwoman (Finally, Ianto becomes more then the Torchwood Ghost!) 6. Countrycide (It freaks out my friend (yep, thats the only reason why it like this)) 7. Random Shoes (Cute dead guy. Even if he is interested in Gwen which is just bad taste) 8. Combat (Go Weevils! Rip Owens head off!) 9. Ghost Machine (Gwen just has to go and push every single bloody button!) 10. Everything Changes (I only like it cos they screw around with Gwen) 11. Day One (Gwen is a complete Idiot!) 12. Out of Time (I just don't get it) 13. Small Worlds (I don't get this one either but I hate it as Gwen is a b***h and so is the little girl)
You can probably tell that I really don't like Gwen (Or Owen for that matter) Anyway, thats my reasoning done.

Uh- no list from me, but the one with the gassy alien that possess bodies and makes people go boom into dust once they reach climax was a strange one. Especially because it was so early on in the first season.

I need to edit my series1 list. I got so creeped out by Countrycide that I hadn't watched it again till last weekend, but completely loved it when I did. (only that I"m going camping this weekend... at least it's not D of E Gold, that'd be in Wales... sweatdrop )
