About
Well, welcome to my wonderfully Phantom of the Opera themed profile!
I've not updated this text in a bit? Well, that's gotta change. This piccu here's really popular, so I'm leaving it up... Poor, poor Mr Tennant. Poor anyone I fangirl over. Me and my graphic tablet are a dangerous combination...
I used to be a MASSSSSSIVE David Tennant-fangirl. In fact, I made his official Gaia-fanthread and am Vice-Captain of the Guild. I dunno, I respect him as a good actor and all, and it's true, you never forget your first Doctor and he's the guy that got me into Doctor Who (I'm so superficial sometimes! gonk ) which I'm now trying to watch as much of the Classic Series of as I can. It's saucesome!! Seriously, I don't care that the picture quality is naff. It adds to the charm!
I used to watch like LOOOOOOADS of anime and read tons of manga and whatever. Not really my scene so much now. I don't actively go out looking for new series at the moment, I'm tending to be more likely to finish reading stuff I've already started. Germangaka ftw!
My current favourites are In The End (a German manga by the PinkPsycho team whos art I absolutely adoooore!), Death Note (I know, cliche as anything. BUT in my defense I've liked it since there were only 43 chapters out in Japan. The joys of t'internet!) and NANA. My favourite of all time? Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Ever since I was 11 and going through a rough patch. Every time I read it it motivates me to stand up and keep going again. Marron was my wind, which will probably only make sense if you've read it. I love all the author's stuff though, going way back to her doujinshi and I*O*N stages... Time Stranger Kyoko was pretty in it's own way, and Fullmoon Wo Sagashite SAD AS HELL. Currently working through Shinshi Doumei Cross. I like it, but the art's getting weirder and weirder, especially the colour... not sure I'm so keen :/
As for personality, I'm fairly weird. I'm one of those people you say "oh, it could only happen to her!" about.
I chase buses in police-cars with the siren up loud.
I eat potato-salad with celery as chopsticks when I can't find cutlery.
I write so small, my math teacher used to bring a magnifying glass in to mark my work.
I say a lot of things that make me sound American. Lots of people think I'm an Ami. I'm not. Nor am I called Hester. Ew.
That's just who I am. I'm not afraid to do something you may find "weird" or "abnormal". Also, I don't particularly care when people call me a freak. When they expect me to be all upset it makes me laugh! So go ahead and make me smile a little more today.
