Hawaii has... an interesting problem. Three people that are apparently strong rivals... Two water evolveds, pitted against each other, one named Flood and the other Tide, and tide with a young sidekick.... a Fire evolved no less! ...
And Flood has a tendency to show up places, then Tide and the fire will come up and start blasting him out and.... well, it's just a big rivalry. And the people are caught in the middle. None of the three seem to have much respect for property or people... Flood seems to love the chaos that comes out of it, Tide just seems to enjoy what he views as a competition and some sort of game, and the boy seems to have great fun in showing off his abilities.
Can Raleigh manage to cool these men off? The N.S.A. is hoping so! And he now has the perfect opportunity to try and get in the middle of a brawl.
At a popular tourist attraction, Flood has shown up and started to wash out a night party. Just because he CAN, apparently.... And if they follow their usual pattern, it won't be long until Tide and the fire evolved figure it out and come to battle it back out with the man.
RAaallleeeiiighhh... Come beat 'em!

Raleigh arrived approximately five minutes after Flood first started making a ruckus. He had been sitting patiently in the wings, waiting for one of them to show up and make a disturbance. Luckily he had been fairly close to the area when it began and now he sat waiting in the darkness, listening to the people scream as water rushed through their party.
The plan was to mess up and take down the two water evolved and the little fire sidekick while they were busy battling each other. Which meant he couldn’t make a move just yet. Raleigh had to wait for the rest of the guests to arrive.
Back pressed against the wall of a building he let his mind go over what he knew and what he had to work with. Four dark shadows moved around him, never going more than a metre or so from his side. Yasuo was there, as always, resting calmly with his shoulder touching Raleigh’s leg.
The other three didn’t seem to stop moving for a second. They paced back and forth, three creatures completely identical. Long of leg with lean bodies, their speed combined with sharp teeth and claws made Mazaru, Mizaru and Mikazaru dangerous foes.
Raleigh hadn’t opted against a larger creation. To start with he need speed and surprise on his side, later if things got tougher he would simply combine them all into something larger and more powerful.
This was going to be one interesting battle.

Ooc:
I hope this is okay and I didn’t screw something up. XD A cookie if you can guess where the Mazaru, Mizaru and Mikazaru names are from Agent. ;D

Didn't Murphy just beat you everytime?
Flood's rivals were taking longer than usual to show...if they even PLANNED on it... And Flood was having a wailing time trying to knock down every structure and person in the area.
That eventually even came to where Raleigh was sitting and waiting. A seemingly random wave of water whipped up and slammed down on top of the building-- and consequentially onto Raleigh -- he was leaning against.

Hey, what was that rushing noise?
Luckily for Raleigh, his creations were paying a lot more attention to what was happening then he was. Possibly plans had been running through his mind as he also cast out with his powers, locating all the possible materials that he could use should he need extra backup. He had thought that Flood would be busy terrorizing people away over there, but apparently now.
A strong body pressed against his side, jolting him back to reality just as the wall behind him collapsed under the weight of the water. Raleigh was immediately swept off his feet.
Clinging to Yasuo, a bedraggled Raleigh dragged himself out of the water’s path, cursing his own stupidity. He should have been paying attention. Three figures loped up out of the darkness and stood dripping nearby, waiting for a command. Raleigh smoothed back his hair and then motioned the three away with a wave of his hand.
“Take him down. Mazaru distract from the front, the other two from behind.”
They instantly darted off to locate the prey. Raleigh and Yasuo followed behind, being careful to avoid any more bursts of water. Hopefully Flood hadn’t quite realized he was here yet.

Flood was thoroughly enjoying his apparently free reign rampage, and was getting more extravagant, just picking up walls of water and "tossing" them places... Which was why Raleigh's area had been attacked out of no where... He didn't seem to much care where the water was going. He was just enjoying himself.
When the critters made themselves known, flood started to laugh, "ONLY ANIMALS WILL FACE ME!?!" He demanded, then shot water around him in a whirl, effectively...if accidentally... hitting those he hadn't seen. He let the water engulf him, then spout up with power, and bring him back down again, all the while shouting some incoherent challenges to... well, most people had run... So apparently he was talking to the buildings... Yeah?

Raleigh watched and learned.
Flood was obviously very talented, with a great deal of control over of his water. Anything Raleigh would throw at him would simply be swept away. In order to win Raleigh needed something that could stand up to those waves of water. But first…
Hiding with Yasuo behind a pile of rubble he gave a shrill whistle between his teeth. The three creatures instantly turned and ran towards him. Yasuo left Raleigh’s side, meeting them halfway. They merged quickly together as Raleigh focused, bending them into a much larger beast.
It leapt over a half fallen building, skidding to a halt in front of Raleigh, effectively blocking another random wave of water. Clambering up onto it’s back, he held onto the horns that protruded from its shoulder blades. “Yamaru, don’t let that water hit us.” He had been a sitting duck before, now he had a swift moving form of transportation.
Yamaru was a bit larger that a horse, it’s four legs bent and it’s clawed feet lying flat against the ground. It was built to jump, run and generally keep Raleigh safe.
Raleigh licked his lips. Heh. Screw waiting for the others to turn up, he was going to take this guy down. “Hey, I’m your opponent. Show me what you’ve got!” He taunted as he order Yamaru to jump into Flood’s line of sight.

Flood laughed in delight. "An opponent? Finally! Someone brave enough to stand up to me!" He kept on laughing, then fell silent, smirking gleefully at Raleigh. "Let's see how a child will hold up to me, then?"
The next moment, water seemed to be everywhere, it was flooding everything rapidly and reached up nearly to the neck of Yamaru. It was also moving in a swift current, dragging along everything in its path. Yamaru might have been able to withstand the swift current, but he would probably not be able to withstand the two cars that were dragged along with it and were now advancing at Yamaru and Raleigh with incredible speed.
Flood just laughed.

Raleigh was beginning to wish he had brought bathers. He held on tight as the water began rushing around them. Yamaru dug his claws in and leaned forward, doing his best to withstand the onslaught. Raleigh was busy concentrating, gathering his power.
Lucky for him there wasn’t any lack of material. The whole area was littered with fallen houses, mostly made with timber. After his next creation he would be seriously drained but it would be worth it.
Yamaru let out a soft gurgling whine sound, alerting him to the two cars currently speeding towards them. “s**t.” He had the wood, now he just needed time to make something out of it.
“Let go.” Yamaru instantly relaxed his grip on the ground and they were swept away with the water. With his back legs the large beast pushed at the ground, tyring to get them out of the path of the cars.
Raleigh half rose from Yamaru’s back, ready to jump ship if Yamaru got hit.

The two cars did, indeed, hit Yamaru since he just wasn't fast enough to get out of their paths. Not with the water slowing him down and speeding them on..
Flood was still laughing and shaped the water into large columns. Even though one would expect it, this detracted nothing from the massive flood already there. If nothing else, it actually seemed to just flood even more, the waterlevel rising instead of becoming lessening. So far, the columns weren't doing anything, but they were sure to come crashing down on Raleigh very, very soon.
Flood was still laughing, having tremendous fun. Manipulating the water like this seemed to be easy for him.

Raleigh jumped off Yamaru’s back a few second before the cars smashed into him, plummeting into the rushing current. One car sped past him, only missing him by centimetres. He did his best to not get hit by the rubble that was also being swept along by the water while keeping his head up for air. He could have created something else, something that could quite possibly swim, but he needed to conserve his energy for his next move. On this game of chess his queen was about to move into play.
The water level went down as it was twisted up into columns, giving Raleigh a chance to grab onto something and then pull himself to his feet. Those could be dangerous. Very dangerous. He cast a look around for Yamaru.
Out of his vision a very battered Yamaru struggled to his feet, the three that were left that was. Despite his attempts the cars had hit full on the side, doing some major damage. There was a large dent in his side but he didn’t seem to notice as he quickly located Raleigh and then began labouring his was towards him.
This was his chance. Raleigh had never attempted something bigger than Yamaru before, and since he was preparing to create a creature twice as big as a house. Well… this was going to leave him out of the game for a while. Oh well.
Bracing himself against some fallen object or another, he let his powers reach out and grab everything that he needed. It was a lot and already he had to exert effort to grasp it all. Now the second part; the merging.
Raleigh hadn’t been studying animal anatomy books for nothing, he was getting pretty good at creating what he needed. But for this he would go with a simple design. Pretty much an oversized Komodo dragon. Well, with a bit of the Raleigh flair too it; a few more horns, a longer neck and a tail that could do some serious damage.
The next trick would be to actually make the thing before Flood could try destroying it or the guy decided to send those pillars of water crashing down on his head. Not to mention afterward he’d be pretty damn exhausted. Hm. Perhaps he had underestimated the situation a bit.
While Flood was busy laughing the various bits of wood he had collected began running like water, moving to a single point behind Flood where they began merging into a single, large creature. Raleigh poured everything he had into, the beast taking form and rising up.

One of Flood's columns came crashing down on Yamaru with such force, that the creature was torn apart. Another one was already slamming down towards Raleigh, with the same amount of force.
"Oh?" Flood had noticed the unnatural movements of the water behind him and, upon seeing what was there, smirked. Finally! At least a semi-challenge! To get rid of this one would take him at least some effort. He narrowed his eyes and focused entirely upon taking every single drop of water in the area and focusing it into one big destructive tidal wave. It stood, balancing for just a moment, having drained everything else from water as an imeasurable wall of water in the middle of the street. And then it crashed forwards, excellerating with a nearly impossible speed and hit the huge half-finished creature with such tremendous force that it, too, was torn apart before it could be finished.
Flood laughed and smirked.
"I win."

“Not just yet.”
When Raleigh’s connection to his half finished creation was abruptly cut off he quickly cast out a net of powers, capturing all the material again and a little bit more. He didn’t have the time to create something big like that, so he’d create a legion of the small.
That had been a close call. The water had been able to pummel him into oblivion. He was going to have to pay this b*****d back for that fright.
In the time it took to say ‘Hey!’ a horde of creatures rose up, all around the size of Labrador. Most were similar in appearance but others had odd little changes. Like the ones that were now sporting webbed feet or the long limbed ones capable of jumping like some demented frog.
Raleigh groaned softly at the tingling pain in his body before he cut the connection between them. Creating so many at one time hurt, but it would be worth it. The problem was controlling them all. They had been given one direction ‘kill Flood’ beyond that, unless they were nearby they probably wouldn’t listen to anything he commanded.
Grabbing the attention of the closest five he got ready to move. “Okay, let’s do this.”
A group of ten got into the fray first, darting towards Flood. The rest ran in a circle around their prey, searching for an opening.

Unfortunately for Raleigh, his previous creation left him feeling much too drained too properly hold the new creatures for long. They dissolved after just a few seconds, which was fortunate for Raleigh, because Flood's attention was just focused elsewhere, and so didn't seem to notice Raleigh.
Some guy came running out of one of the houses. He looked terrifed and he was panting hard. "Come! Come! Before he comes back!" He tugged frantically on Raleigh's arm. "Hurry UP!" The water level that had dropped after the tidal wave, was rising again and already reached their ankles. The man looked terrifed. "You can't defeat Flood. You need at least another water evolved to do that. Where is Tide?!"
((Ruri, as admirable as Raleigh's attempt was, you already described him being drained and about to pass out from creating the huge creature, which was a bit of a push, but alá. There is no way he would be able to create another bunch of them like you did just now. Nice try though. You'll have to accept you can't win them all. Certainly not at the beginning, and with Flood being so powerful. ;D ))

Those many creations dissolved into nothingness and Raleigh slunk to the ground, breath coming in short sharp bursts. Damn it. This wasn’t right. Now he was going to loose, no that was impossible. Head swimming he looked up towards Flood, expecting to see the super ready to crush him with a wave of water.
No such thing happened, instead he felt someone tugging at his arm. “What?” Raleigh’s mind was slow in understanding what on earth was going on. He frowned at the person grabbing at him; ready to tug his arm away when things started making sense again.
“Tide? I don’t know.” As much as he didn’t want to have to rely on anyone, he was leaning heavily on the other man as he stood up. “Let’s go then.”
Ooc: Ack! I guess I’m kinda blind when it comes to Raleigh’s abilities.
‘OMG HE’S THE GREATEST!’ *.*
Is all that my mind can manage. XD
Sorry for getting out of hand. ^-^; I'll behave myself next time.

((*snugs Ruri* That's why you've got us. 4laugh <3 ))
The guy dragged Raleigh into a house and slammed the door shut. Just in time. The moment the door shut, the entire street was flooding again, accompanied by Flood's laughter. The man just dragged Raleigh up the stairs, onto the highest floor. Safe. For now.
The battle was not yet won, but other days and other chances would come.
