Was thinking about this the other day and figured I see what you guys had to say.
The glitch I'll mention was once, me and my brother were playinig Jak and Daxter. It was his turn and for some reason, he got a kick out of diving on those little rock things that float on the mud parts. He hit it just right and it flipped over. Unfortunately, the whole world turned with it. Poor Jak ended up trapped in upside down mud in a world of white.
What kind of experiences have ya'll had?

This personally didn't happen to me, but I was at a guy mates house with his friends and they were playing some football game.
Two guys aiming for the ball.
Collision.
Game glitch.
"Dude, your humping my a**!"
"No I'm not, I'm trying to get the ball!"
"Stop humping my a**!"

I freaking hate glitches. They can ruin my day sometimes... especially with RPGS...
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion has some very mean glitches... ones that can disable any progress in certain parts of the game. Ugh.
I save religiously now.

DAMN PRINCE OF PERSIA GLITCH!!!
70% through the game, then a glitch stops my progress.
Dammit.
Anyway, also Simpsons: Hit and Run.
Hyperspeed cheat, with the toy car that goes 3 times as fast as a normal car, run headlong into the wall... You're in a world of white which I can't identify. Upside down buildings, but not buildings in the town. *Shrugs*
Um... Hm...
GUITAR HERO II!!!
Video lag, the sounds played 30 some seconds after the note. It sucked, the calibrate lag thing worked it out though.
Other than those, nothing major or cool, just stuff like being able to run into a tree and go straight up on to the top, or stuff like in .Hack//GU Vol. 2, with the steambike you can make skidmarks in the air.

Aw, man. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was notorious for a few nasty glitches. lol
One of the glitches comes in the form of a spinning clock wheel thingie. sweatdrop What you had to do was balance Prince on a beam and time his jump so that he jumped through an open section of the spinning gear. The glitch that hit some games was that the wheel was wayyyy too fast to jump through! There was no way to get past it; therefore, you could not continue on in the game. The only solution would be starting over. Or hoping that you saved in a spot beforehand and pray that the glitch wouldn't keep occurring gonk

The only one in particular I can remember off the top of my head is in Goldeneye 007 for N64 (I know, old school...). Anyway, I got so much amusement out of the fact that on the "facility" level, if you are in the bathroom stall, and you get too close to the door, the people outside can see your gun sticking out through the door, totally giving away your hiding place.

Harvest Moon for Nintendo DS freezes if you run into an area that the sprites just appear in. WHICH ANNOYS ME TO NO END since i'm bad and saving often.
and HALO II i get stuck in walls. GRRRRR scream

In Sly2 on the final level, & you can only do it with the super-high-jump pack thing. You can jump from one of the towers & land on Clock-La, she will later barrol-role you off of her. You then fall FOREVER! Good thing that it auto-save! xd

I was once affected by the dreaded "Gym Disable" glitch in GTA San Andreas.
And on top of that, my brother often leaves the game on and unpaused for at least 6 hours, during which CJ's muscle disappears completely.
I had to start a new game just for that. sweatdrop

actually, theres this one cheat code for sonic the hedgehog (the gamecube collection version) that does more bad then good. it makes sonic turn into a ring whenever u press A and stuff. its really annoying.

I was watching my friend play HP5 for playstation3 one time, and the game was being messed up xD She went up to talk to Prof. Snape, who just said something about how annoying Harry was, then she tried to walk away and Snape goes "You are testing my patience, Potter!' And every time she tried to move away, she couldn't move because he would keep talking to her xD

Funniest glitch that happened to me was In the new Resident Evil 4 Wii edition. I shot one of the Ganados in the head, it kept walking (which was normal) but what wasnt normal was when the headless ganado grabbed me. After that I was really careful when I shot peoples heads off.
I'm usually careful with my game data, but one time I did accidentilly save over my kingdom hearts game [level 80] with my friends game [level 5] but luckly I had two save spots for that game, so I didnt have to redo everything.

One of the funnier glitches that happened to me was when I was playing a demo for Jak III. It was the mission where you first kill giant desert metal heads, and I decided to see how high I could climb up the desert mountains. (Yes, I was that bored.) One of them I fell through all the way to the bottom to see that the whole thing was hallow!
The best part was when my best friend yelled, "We've found Osama's hiding place!"

...Er, let me explain that little rage there. xp
I was playing Psychonauts and had done the entire Asylum in one night without saving (I think I'd lost my memory card or something...). Then, right as I went to enter Loboto's lab, Raz's foot got stuck in the floor and the game froze.
