Overview
The following guide is designed to assist you with understanding the guild and getting started. For starters you should familiarize yourself with our guild rules which can be found here. After that whether or not you’ve read Worm it is recommended that you take a look at our lore topics and what the different factions have to offer. Also refer to the combat section for details regarding capes fighting it out.
Making A Character
Once you’ve read up on our lore you’re going to want to either start creating your profile or jump right into applying for powers. If you would like help with making your profile we have a handy character creation guide that details the process. Conversely if you want to apply for powers first you’ll want to read up on parahuman abilities and then head to the power application thread. After you’ve gotten your powers and made a profile you’ll need to submit that profile to the profile approval section and choose either a major faction to join, or select from one of the independent categories.
Getting Started With Roleplay
Now that your character is approved you’re ready to start roleplaying. If you have a home you’re going to want to head over to the housing thread [insert link] and create your house. Note that you do not need to pay upkeep on your home until the first full month after you create your character passes. Once you’ve done that or you don’t have a home you’re ready to begin playing with your character!
Getting Between Cities
Travel between cities is difficult due to several factors such as a lack of roads, large distances, or needing to travel by portal. Government heroes have pretty much unfettered access to portal usage and the government rail system. Non criminal rogues will see some gear restrictions when traveling via the portals. Villains however will find that traveling via rail or portal will require leaving one’s costume behind and traveling in civilian guise. Though they do have some other options. Paying the Sons of b***h for passage will get you a guide through the open expanses of wilderness, or an organization like Black Gate can be paid to smuggle your gear or even you for the right price.
