- He doesn't blink very often and has better night vision than day vision
- When his wings aren't clipped, he flies slowly but silently, before diving to ambush his prey. His talons are powerful and crush prey.
- He can not swivel his head 270 degrees like a real owl, but only the amount of a normal soq
- Has a low pitched voice and excellent hearing. His hearing is better than his vision and he can pinpoint the horizontal and vertical direction of a sound's source.
- He has two owl's that he protects and they follow him wherever he goes. He has yet to name them but treats them as his pets. Preening them and so on. They also act as another couple sets of eyes for him and have a special call to signal danger.

Temper: SteadfastLikes: Nightime, Hunting, Putting others on edge, MusicDislikes: Boredom, Loud Sporadic Noises, Jewelry, DancingProfession within the flock: Sparring Stallion Personality: Gainesh is Nocturnal by nature. As such, he is most active during the night and somewhat lethargic during the day. He mainly tries to doze, but if kept awake in the daytime he is calm and subdued. Once the sun starts to go down, he perks up and (hopefully) goes out to spar with a flock female. If there are no females in need training, he enjoys verbally sparing with any male that happens to be in the safe zone with him, or better yet, using his nighttime energy for more entertaining activities.
Size-wise, Gainesh is large and strong. He's covered in lean muscle, but it's hard to tell beneath his fluffy exterior. One of the his skills before he joined the flock (and had his wings clipped, which he greatly dislikes) was hunting, so he is physically built for it. He still keeps his claws sharp just in case a hare ever happens across his path.
When it comes to romance, Gainesh lacks most of the suave, flirting techniques that the other whistle stallions have. Since he was never raised in an amorous environment he just doesn't know how to be 'romantic'. He's willing, with both males and females, but he needs very clear signals from the party interested in order to do anything. Once he gets the a-okay, he is not shy or coy, preferring to be the leading partner in the tryst.
Jewelry and dancing, both treasured parts of flock life, mean very little to Gainesh. He has no interest in either and avoids them if he can. Music, on the other hand, he enjoys wholeheartedly. However, it can be a dangerous thing for him as he has very keen, sensitive hearing, and if too loud it can overwhelm his ability to think about anything else.Backstory: Gainesh is a "captured" stallion and was not born into the flock. Where he was born remains a mystery, even to him. As far back as he remembers he has been on his own. His first memory was when he met his two owl companions. After that he generally just traveled the soquili lands, meeting others and venturing to distant lands. He learned a lot, but never formed solid roots with anyone he encountered. Since he was always self reliant, he soon learned to be an expert hunter.
Plots (actually more like RP's I'd like...) : 1. Odd Bird Out: I'd like Gainesh to go visit the Artisan's guild. Since he's not much into 'fancy' things, it'd be fun to see him squirm a little 2. Why Hello There: It'd be good if he could get some interaction with some of the other males in the safe zone. Meet a few whistle stallions perhaps. 3. Practice, Practice, Practice: As a sparring stallion I'd like him to spar with a female flock member...maybe set up a regular sparring partner.
