Am I the only one who never bothered questioning any of this...? Quite frankly, as anime goes, this is some of the least controversial stuff I've seen or heard.
It's not about controversy, I was mostly asking why so many 'Sailor Senshi' all of a sudden. And what the name 'Iron Mouse' had to do with anything! (Alchemy, I get that now)
I'm cool with the 'Gentle Uterus' and the tranny senshi; really.
I can answer that really easily if you'd like. Assuming you haven't already finished the season, that is.

Eeeeh...maybe not. My only theory is that they came from other solar systems. Still, up until Stars I thought the very definition of 'Sailor Senshi' was a former princess or prince of their respective planet now dedicated to protecting the solar system. Or something like that. Everyone before Stars was a prince or princess. Does this imply that Star Fighter, Maker, and Healer are princesses as well? And of what; the sun?
And then there's Iron Mouse. I can't see her being a princess unless she had some Chibiusa from the future crap going on.

Oh, there were other controversial things in it, lol. Not denying that at all.
But yeah, I was pretty sure most of the discussion was about Sailor Senshi, and there's nothing wrong with questioning that.

I don't want to ruin anything for you, but read the manga. It makes more sense >.<; Also, I agree that I always thought they were stupid names, but it's one way to differentiate them from who they ..."were"

So, Sailor Galaxia's a queen, we get that, so it's possible she has appointed her group as princesses as well. However, given... certain events which follow (I won't spoil them yet) I feel as though they probably were not princesses at any time.

I'm finished with the anime by now. The ending was cute!
I guess that theory makes sense but Galaxia struck me as a common villain queen really 'Find me the super shiny thing! Do not fail me or else!" It's like damn Galaxia, eat a Snickers. One would have never guessed that Siren, Iron Mouse, Crow, and Nyanko were anything to her let alone appointed princesses.
Oh, and I never read the Dead Moon Circus arch in the manga. I heard that the Amazon Quartet become senshi though. I wish the trio was reborn as senshi; I could picture Fisheye in a Sailor Starlite-like position!
