Hello and welcome to my journal! Here you will find all of my qilin and a little bit about me. ;D

When there's an egg left all alone he's the one who typically picks them up and cares for them. He's playful and enjoys life and the occasional prank, but his heart is big. His mouthtail, Lux, is very protective and sometimes a bit hostile, especially when he thinks he/Roshan/their 'baby' is in danger. He loves to teach and often teaches everything he can and, on occasion, things he isn't aware of teaching.
It is this combination of playmate and tutor that qualifies him for the position of Guardian.
Powers: Electricity and a resistance to fire/being burned(flame retardant) or electrocuting himself. He can also light up like a lightning bug when he wants to.
Weakness: He's kind of a gullible little guy. He'll wise up occasionally but his youthful nature and naivety usually get the best of him, but he learns after a while.
Height: 3'5"
Location: Typically found at his temple in Lóng de zuǐ.

Longwei is a tyrant, and he's greedy. He expects to get his way and lord help anyone that stands in his way. When he sees something beautiful he has to have it, whether it's another dragon or an object. If it's a female he wants her simply to have her because she is beautiful, but if it's a male he prefers to have a go at them. Sometimes it will be a one time thing and other times he'll keep them as a member of his harem.
He does not like to share. The only time he may be persuaded to share something of his is if you offer him something in return that might catch his fancy.

Svadil could tell it was going to be another one of those days. It almost always seemed like it was going to be. Usually he was right, too, and that never helped. He hated being right about that. Couldn't he just sleep all day instead? Not take any chances on anything by waking up? Unfortunately that was never an option, and until he grew up and left(assuming he lived long enough) his parent's care he'd have to deal with it. Biting back a whimper at having to get up Svadil opened his eyes and lifted his head, looking out towards the mouth of the cave.
He could go outside. There was lots more space out there. It would be really hard to cause any kind of trouble outside, right? Looking around he found he wasn't alone in the cave, some of his many siblings were still sleeping and his mother was at the mouth of the cave keeping an eye on all of them as usual. The yearling sighed and made his way outside, grumbling "Mornin'" to his mother on his way out and barely listening to her warnings of not wandering too far and to be careful. The tricolored male snorted. It didn't matter how careful he was, something bad always seemed to happen to him in one way or another. Need just a drink of water? Fall into the river and hit his head on a rock and nearly drown. Trying to take a nap under a tree? Branch falls off and nearly crushes him.
On second thought, maybe coming outside wasn't such a good idea after all. Svadil looked around nervously. Staying in the cave wasn't much of an option either unless no one else was in there. There were so many family members he was stuck around all the time that it drove him crazy, and it only made his unreasonable anger problems worse. For now he was able to keep it in check, but he felt like it was getting worse. He felt like he lived in near constant fear of just suddenly snapping at his siblings or parents for absolutely no reason other than they said "Hi" to him, or were standing in the wrong spot, always something incredibly stupid when he was in his right mind. It hadn't happened yet, but some days he felt it brewing beneath the surface.
Svadil curled up quietly underneath a tree, still within Mother's sight, and just stared. He wasn't in a playful mood. Minutes later one of his younger brothers came up to him, all energetic and happy. The older brother groaned as the other started talking. "Svadil! Let's play a game!"
"No thanks, I don't feel like playing today." He replied in a rather monotonous tone, barely sparing his brother a glance.
"Aw c'mon, stop being a stick in the mud. Play chase with us, I'll be it." His brother was doing a poor job of persuading him to play.
"No." Svadil got up and started moving away. His brother frowned for a moment before smirking and poking him, exclaiming "Tag! You're it!" A switch flipped and he rounded on his brother angrily, more angry than he'd ever been with any of his siblings, and with a loud growl bit his nose as hard as he could.
The loud yelp of pain and look of complete and utter shock and betrayal on his brother's face would have instantly made him feel like dirt if he wasn't so angry and he would have apologized profusely immediately. Instead he glared down at him, still growling. "I told you I didn't want to play!" Svadil shouted before leaping onto his brother and coiling around him so he couldn't flee, his sibling squealing and crying for help. Before he knew it their mother had descended on them to break up the fight.
"That's ENOUGH!" She bellowed, grabbing hold of him and prying him off his brother before releasing him, his brother scampering to hide behind their much larger mother. She didn't look very happy. "Svadil, apologize to your brother this instant!"
Svadil scowled. He hadn't done anything wrong! He'd told him he didn't want to play, it was his fault for making him do it! "No!" The yearling shouted back in defiance, scowling up at what would be incredibly intimidating to any yearling that wasn't him in this moment. He could hear his brother crying, Kaede looking down to see how much damage had been done. The bridge of his nose was bleeding a bit. She growled and looked at him again, Svadil shrinking a little at the anger that was clear in their usually kind and loving mother. "I didn't-"
"Go back to the cave this instant." She didn't shout, though it was clear that she was holding back. His ears lowered and he gave a small nod before heading back. "I'm going to talk to your father about this, Svadilfari." He cringed at the use of his full name. He was going to be in so much trouble....
The hours crawled by like years as he waited for his father to come lecture him about what he'd done. It wasn't even hours that had passed when he heard the heavy footsteps of his father, that's how slowly time had been moving to him. His heart started pounding and he gave a small squeak when he heard his father adress him. "Svadil, maybe you can tell me what happened today." He sounded so calm...so...reserved. It was a little frightening, he wasn't sure if he was angry like his mother or not.
The little yearling looked up at the much older and larger male. "Well...I was laying under a tree outside and my brother came up to me and asked if I wanted to play. I told him no, but he kept trying to get me to, and I got really angry when he tagged me while I was going to move somewhere else away from him and I turned around and bit him on the nose. I don't know why but I just snapped, and then I wanted to..." Svadil paused and looked down at the ground, feeling very ashamed of himself
"To what?"
"...I wanted to beat him up for it..." He looked up at Arsliah with tears welling in his eyes. "I don't know why! I just got so mad! I feel really really really really bad for it now, but at the time I only wanted to make him hurt and cry and leave me alone! I didn't feel like I'd done anything wrong and that he deserved it for not leaving me alone." Svadil started crying and looked down at the ground again. "I know it was wrong of me but I just couldn't help myself, it happened without me thinking about it. I feel like that a lot, like something is going to set me off and I'll explode and I'm scared of it happening every day. Do you know what that's like, Daddy?" He asked as he looked up at the male he so strongly resembled, hoping desperately that he wasn't the only one that was like this.
