 The sky was clear and the sun was bright that day. Zhengshen had only hatched recently, and already the natural curiosity each dragon possessed had taken hold. He wanted to go outside! The little wiggly dragon snaked his way along the cave floor of the older dragon that had taken him in, and whether or not the brown and rainbow male was his father was up for debate. Whatever he was, he was the one that was looking after him, so in Shen's book that made him dad.
The little dragon flew up to sit atop a boulder at the mouth of the cave, looking out. It was so pretty outside! Pretty and warm, he wanted to be out in it. What kinds of things were out there? Were there more beings like himself and Bifrost? Were there things out there that weren't like him and Bifrost?! He had to know!
Without thinking about whether or not he should ask permission first Shen hopped off the boulder and floated around the area just outside the cave, a sparkly rainbow trailing behind him like the tail of a comet when he moved. There was a flower nearby that he had to sniff.

 Bifrost lifted his head as the little winding dragon hovered at the cave entrance. He loved the little wriggler and looked after him as if Zhengshen was his own hatchling, like his own hatchlings.
The brown bodied rainbow dragon gently pulled the little one back into the cave. "Careful out there Zhen."

 "Zhen?" There was a soft sound outside the den, familiar orbs of light seen drifting up about the female whom had come up, her soft purple eyes shimmering a bit, seeing the wiggler. "Oh~? Little one, yeah!" She giggled, moving down to his level, a few orbs of colored light illuminating the ground ever so slightly as she did so. "Hello little one~" Her body lay down, half out of the cave. "Who might you be? Did you find him Bifrost?" Her ears twitched.

The little wiggly gave a small whine as he was gently pulled back inside. "But I want to go outside and explore! It's so big out there!" He looked at the older male with pleading eyes. "Can I please play outside?" As he did his best begging he heard another large beast coming up to the cave and he turned to see who or what it was. It was another dragon, like him and Papa! There were more out there! In his excitement he squirmed, smiling ridiculously big. "Hi!" Zhengshen practically shouted at the pretty female. "I'm Zhengshen!"
He tilted his head and looked at his papa, not hearing the name before. "Bifrost?" He asked curiously.

"If its big out there, then the dangers will be bigger. You shouldn't go out wandering alone Zhen," Bifrost nudged the little one with his snout. "Yes Neone, I found him as an egg. Thought he might like our little family."

"So cute!" The female giggled, sitting up. "I am Neone. Welcome to the family little one! Our own are all grown up, but they do stay close! Oh!" Her rump wiggled in the sunlight. "You're so colorful and cute~" She giggled like mad, seeming quite giddy. Perhaps her day was going well? "Such a lovely day! Babies and friends all around!"

Shen blushed a little. She thought he was cute! Was he? What was cute, anyways? He looked back at Bifrost when he was nudged and he pouted for a moment before turning his attention back to Neone. "What if Neone comes outside and plays with me?" He asked, hoping that her excitement about him would lend itself to playfulness.

"Oh! Yes little one, let's go play!" The female grinned, moving to nuzzle the small male's body. "Positively adorable! Oh! I could teach you things!" Her rump wiggled as she moved to leave, the little wyrm scooped onto her face. "I could show you the best place to snap at butterflies!"
