Let us pretend that there is no number limit to your team, no problems with versions, or stones or anything. If this was the case, what would your team be? And "NO ALL OF THEM!" Thats really stupid.
Mine would be these:

Typhlosion
Houndoom
Ninetails
Rapidash
Flareon
Blaziken
What can I say? I am a sucker for the fire type.
I love all these Pokemon equal and their order is just the way I typed them. It has nothing to do with my favorites.

Whew! I mix and match from those in my teams, but those are my favorites by appearance(not in any order though), and were I in the Pokemon world, I'd train them to overcome their weaknesses that are apparent in the game. It always made me sad that you can't have really strong unevolveds in the game, because I like some of the younger evolutions better (appearance-wise) such as Grovyle and Ivysaur. Venusaur is so bloblike and unappealing.
