Rocket Grunt Akemi  Name: Akemi Yumeno
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Rank: Grunt
Birthplace: Phenac City, Orre Region (Hometown Saffron City in Kanto)
Appearance: Precisely 5'0" shorttall, Akemi has long, black, slightly wavy hair that she prefers to wear in either two ponytails or a braid. Her complexion is rather pale, there are freckles on her nose and cheeks, and her eyes are a deep purple. She's quite skinny for her age, but surprisingly energetic and has a lot of stamina for her size. When not in uniform, she likes to dress casually in either baggy cargo pants or a short skirt.
Personality: Akemi is from a rather poor family, but despite this she has a very generous and outgoing nature. She wishes to get along with people, but sadly most of the time others find her bubbly personality annoying rather than pleasant.
She is also rather sensitive - not easily angered but she's prone to crying when offended. This trait of hers she's trying her hardest to suppress as to not get on her superiors' bad side.
Her diet is another thing worth mentioning; miss Yumeno only eats various sweets, pastries and ice cream. Even her drinks have to be sweet. She's practically addicted to sugar and won't even touch actual food.
The Grunt's reasons for joining Team Rocket are currently unknown, for she wishes to keep it a secret. Her overall character makes her seem a very unlikely TR recruit, and yet she obviously enjoys being on the team.
Akemi loves her Pokémon, and treats them all as her friends. She has a particular affinity to Grass, Water and Psychic types.

Nickname: Fushigi
Gender: Female
Type: Grass/Poison
Ability: Overgrow
Nature: Mild
Attacks: Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf, Sunny Day, Solarbeam
Akemi met her trusty partner while staying with relatives in Orre. The Bulbasaur had escaped from a couple of shady characters - Team Snagem most likely, trying to smuggle a bunch of stolen pokémon to sell in another region. Akemi felt sorry for the mistreated Bulbasaur and with the help of some local trainers the girl was able to drive off the crooks, and without its original trainer around Fushigi stayed with her. Later, it evolved to Ivysaur and its growth was seemingly stopped there. Fushigi is perhaps the calmest of Akemi's pokémon and often tries to come between the competing Hikari and Shinju.

Ability: Blaze
Nature: Rash
Attacks: Return, Flamethrower, Secret Power, Fly
Hikari is Akemi's second pokémon, and the first that the girl has actually captured. The Charizard could be best described as hot-headed. She's very competitive for Akemi's attention and more than eager to battle whenever the chance arises. She's quite jealous of Shinju, the latter being one of Akemi's favourite types, and tries fiercely to prove herself better. After evolving into her final form, she's become even more fiercely protective over her trainer.

Nickname: Shinju
Gender: Female
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Bashful
Attacks: Water Pulse, Surf, Endure, Rollout
Shinju was given to Akemi as a present from her relatives, as the girl has always had a strong affinity to the Water type. The Squirtle soon evolved and has been a trusted partner since the very beginning, although it would seem that there's some kind of rivalry between Shinju and Hikari for the trainer's attention..

Nickname: Rei
Gender: Female
Type: Psychic
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Modest
Attacks: Psybeam, Shadow Ball, Swift, Signal Beam
The newest addition to Akemi's team, Rei's personality is still a bit of a mystery. The Espeon seems somewhat timid, yet she evolved quite soon after arriving.

Nickname: Pandora
Gender: Female
Type: Ghost
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Quirky
Attacks: Curse, Mean Look, Psybeam, Ominous Wind
Like Misdreavus often are, Pandora is a prankster, loving causing chaos and discomfort to others. She's not mean per se, she just has a.. peculiar sense of humor. Being recently caught, not much else is known about her personality or habits yet.
