((feel free to jump in =) no restrictions ^^))
The young adult female was sitting on the edge of the peer of Camphoreon City. She was wearing a pair of low-cut blue jeans and a white tank-top, stopping in the middle of her belly. Her dirty blond hair was tied up in a short ponytail, with bits and pieces of hair hanging out of the bottom. She had a variety of bracelets on her wrists, and a pair of crystal studded earrings. Her shoes were brown leather boots, and she was lazily leaning back on the peer. In her right hand was a fishing pole, the line coming from the end of the pole, and down to the water as the bobber was flickering above the waves.
Behind her were a little brown eevee, as well as her new bulbasaur. Genbu was sitting at the edge of the peer as well, one of his vines in the water, mimicking the fishing pole which Keira held as the edge of his vine bobbed in the water. Esther was staring at the water, wanting to get closer to play with it...but she also didn't want to fall in. It was so hard to make up her mind! How to play without falling in? Oh what a predicament she was in! "Eeevee!" she whimpered to Keira who turned over to her and pet her head. "We will go down to the beach to play in the water later, alright?" she said as the eevee jumped with joy, and proceeded to chase things floating in the wind.
There were people off in the distance, and it was surprising that Keira chose such a populated area to fish, considering she wasn't the 'social' type. She preferred to be off on her own then with others anyways. But never the less she was here, fishing in the middle of the day with her two pokemon.

Akemi was out for a stroll through the city, taking an afternoon break while waiting for new orders. She was slowly getting better at handling the assignments she was given, and started expecting them with more enthusiasm. However, her three pokémon were still her first priority, and if they seemed tired, she took a break to let them unwind a bit. During missions she was forced to keep her companions in their pokéballs, which they didn't enjoy at all, so whenever she could, the girl let them walk freely.
Her long, black hair was gathered up in two pigtails, and she was wearing casual clothing so that civilians would not spot her. Her "usual" outfit consisted of a black tank top, a black pleated skirt and black shoes, accented by purple legwarmers and detachable sleeves, the same shade as her eyes.
Shinju was leading, obviously heading towards the seashore. It had been a while since the Wartortle had had a chance to swim, and so it was trying to get the rest of the group to follow. Fushigi the Ivysaur had no objections since it, too, liked water, and the pier would be the perfect place to soak up some sunlight. The last was Hikari, dragging along behind the trainer, seeming quite sour. The Charmeleon saw the situation as Akemi favouring Shinju, which really wasn't the case as the girl treated all her companions with equal love and attention.
"Oh, come on, Hikari!" Akemi said then, grabbing the Charmeleon's arm and gently pulling it along. "We'll go and cook some delicious Poffins for you all later on, okay?" she continued with a smile, and all three pokémon seemed excited.

The first of the three to notice the newcomers was Esther as she stopped, her ears perked up in the air as she watched them closer, ever so slowly. When they got a little closer, she ran up and bumped Genbu. "Hey! Hey! Lookie! Intrudors! Let's so examine them!" she told him as he gave her an irritated look for bumping into him. "Go do it yourself. I'm busy." he told her as he turned his head away and back to fishing. Frowning, she sighed but turned away from him and trotted up to the wartortle as she puffed out her chest to try and look bigger. "Halt! State your business!" she said, ignoring the fact that the wartortle was larger then she.
Keira hadn't noticed them at first, but when she heard Esther muttering something to Genbu then walking off, she turned to see what the eevee was so interested in. It was then that she herself noticed the girl and her three pokemon Hmm, she had a familiar look to her, but it seemed lots of people had familiar looks about them these days. Maybe she just had one of those faces. Keira chuckled when Esther started to act big, silly eevee. But she turned back to the sea, watching the bobber even though it had yet to be sucked beneath the waves.
Genbu had an irritated look as he heard Esther go on, and on...finally he sighed as he retracted his vines and walked over to Esther and the other pokemon. "Keep it down would ya? Some of us are trying to fish." he said as he looked over the wartortle, then back to Esther. "Just let them be Esther. They aren't much of a threat. Just let them do whatever they came here for." he said. Not necessarily to be rude, just that he didn't see them as a 'threat' to their identities as rockets. Just looked like some kid with her pokemon.

Akemi raised a brow when the Eevee and Bulbasaur approached her group, wondering what they wanted since she couldn't understand them. She raised her gaze to see a girl fishing down the pier, and she was positive she'd seen a girl with the same hairstyle at the HQ recently. Still, as she hadn't really gotten acquainted with that many grunts, she thought it best not to take risks and act casual.
Hikari was the first to jump forward, the tip of its tail burning brightly with excitement. "You looking for a challenge, kid?" it questioned the Eevee with a smirk. Shinju ignored the commotion, continuing onto the pier and diving into the water on the opposite side from where the girl sat. Fushigi sighed, grabbing Hikari's claws with her vines. "I apologize for my friend's rudeness", it said in an embarrassed tone, "She's rather excitable and loves to battle." Shinju had decided to try to help with the other trainer's attempts to fish, swimming around and playfully chasing fish towards the bait and hook that waited.
Akemi then walked up to the girl, her freckles sticking out of her pale face in the bright daylight, contrasted by her raven hair. She smiled politely, squatting down close to the other trainer, but not too close as to seem imposing. "Any luck?" she asked to start a conversation. She was a bit of a chatterbox but tried to hold back to see if the other person was at all friendly - she'd had bad luck in the past.

When the fire pokemon jumped forward, Esther stood her ground and didn't move a muscle. "You bet baldy!" she responded as she gave her a 'look'. Esther had her moments. She could be lovable and fun loving, or territorial and bossy. It all depended on her 'mood' and today she was in a 'protective' and 'territorial' mood, but they changed as quickly as the wind. Genbu shook his head as he lifted Esther with his vines, ignoring her screaming and fussing before he put her down a few feet back. "I am getting use to this one acting up like that." he said with a shrug and a yawn.
When the water pokemon splashed in the water beside her Keira frowned, then heard the girl speak as she appraoched her. "Well not now with your pokemon making so much noise." she said. The splashing wouldn't help catch anything...didn't this girl have any manners that she just let her pokemon dive in where she was fishing!? How rude! Even if the wartortle chased them, they would be too scared fleeing from it to want to bite the bait on the line.
Esther was pouting, upset that Genbu had stepped in when he did. She had been doing just fine! When she evolved she would show that ugly pokemon a thing or two! Bald pokemon were so ugly! Ick! Genbu wasn't really one for conversation, so he didn't say much to the other two, other then keeping Esther under control.

"BALDY?!" Hikari raged, its tail flame blazing fiercely. "Lemme at her, 'Shigi!" the Charmeleon continued, flailing its arms. Fushigi just sighed, releasing a small cloud of Sleep Powder onto its companion, who in turn fell asleep almost immediately. "Eheh.." the Grass pokémon chuckled in an embarrassed manner, pulling the now snoring Charmeleon aside. "I guess she lives up to her nature", Fushigi continued and rolled its eyes.
"Um... I-I think something did just nibble on your bait.." Akemi said meekly as her Wartortle made larger circles around the pier so it didn't startle the fish but kept them close by. The girl bit her lip. Off to a great start again, it seemed. Did everyone get up on the wrong foot or was she just that annoying? "S-sorry for interrupting you... and.. I think Shinju's just trying to help.. she hasn't been able to swim for a while since we usually stay further inland, so.." she trailed off, looking at the fish under the water's clear surface, their scales reflecting light beautifully. She didn't really know what else to say. Their pokémon seemed to have a slight conflict going on as well...

"Yah that's right! BALDY! You are BALD!" said Esther as she stuck out her tongue at the charmander. Genbu sighed and shook his head. What a pain this puff ball was. When the charmander fell asleep Esther grinned and trotted around. "That'll teach you." she said with a grin as she trotted back to Keira, leaving Genbu with the ivysaur. Esther crawled into Keira's lap and curled up, quite content just sitting there like that as she closed her eyes to take a nap while her trainer fished.
Genbu shook his head as he yawned with a stretch. "She just had to catch me. Now I am stuck baby sitting all the time." he said. Though he knew it wasn't all bad. He at least got plenty of food and didn't feel a need to defend his territory, or food, anymore. So there was a lack of stress now which wasn't bad.
As the girl began to stutter Keira turned to her "Instead of being sorry take care of your pokemon." she said, pointing to the wartortle who was still chasing away the fish. "I can't catch anything at this rate." she said with a sigh as she shook her head. She would need to get a water pokemon one of these days. Keira wasn't a very nice girl and well...her pokemon mostly followed her example. THey werne't MEAN, but htey weren't the friendliest pokemon out there..

Akemi sighed then. "Shinju! Come back, please", she softly called out to the Wartortle, which almost immediately jumped back onto the pier, ears drooping slightly. "It's okay, I know you were just trying to help", the girl said, petting the pokémon's head.
The Wartortle nodded slightly, turning to the rest of the group, seeing Hikari snoring quietly on the side. "What happened? Did she get into a fight again?" the water pokémon asked the two that were still sitting there, waving a small greeting to the Bulbasaur. "I hope your Trainer isn't too mad, I wasn't trying to mess up her fishing", it continued then, scratching the back of its head.
Akemi sat quietly, watching the pokémon interact from the corner of her eye. She felt sorry for upsetting the other girl, and didn't know how to pick up the conversation from that point again. After a moment of pondering, she asked "S-so... what do you plan on evolving your Eevee into..? Or have you not thought about it yet?"

Finally that stupid thing was out of the water. Keira heaved a sigh of relief as she continued to dangle the lure in the water. She didn't really care if the wartortle was sad or not. It wasn't helping and was being a pest. Its better off out of the water while Keira tries to fish anyways.
Genbu turned to the other pokemon as it came around and just shrugged his shoulders. "Eh, she's fine. She just isn't real social." of course, neither was he. Or even Esther for that matter. THey were quite the antisocial bunch. Genbu was just glad Esther had given up on picking fights with these pokemon. It was just a pain to have to clean up her messes anyways.
Keira didn't really say anything, enjoying the silence until this stuttering kid bothered her again. "Eh, probably Umbreon or Espeon." she said as she kept her eyes ont he water, not bothering to face the girl. Then there was a tug at the line as Keira grinned, pulling at it. "Finally! Come on!" she shouted as she pulled then, out of the water jumped a male squirtle! The squirtle leaped onto the deck, the bait in his hands as he popped it into his mouth. Esther jumped from Keira's lap and grinned at the pokemon. "Esther! Shadow ball!" shouted Keira as the little eevee opened it's mouth, a small purple ball forming as she shot it at the squirtle, who countered it with a water gun. As the two stared down, Keira just grinned. Finally some action!

Akemi had reached into her belt pouch, pulling out a small case of treats for her pokémon that she always carried with her. Pokéblocks of almost every colour, to please pokémon with different tastes. She popped out a variety of them out of the case, onto her hand, offering them to her pokémon, as well as the other girl's Bulbasaur.
"Espeon or Umbreon, eh?" she then said in response to the girl, who finally conversed with her, even if it was a bit awkward. Her own tone wasn't as unsure anymore either. "They're both quite strong, though personally I would go for Espeon", she said, her voice revealing her fascination with the Psychic type.
Suddenly, the older girl pulled a Squirtle out of the water. So it wasn't fish that she was trying for to begin with? What was the fuss then? She didn't say anything, however, and instead settled for watching the battle.

((so sorry for the late reply ;^^))
Keira did have treats for her pokemon, but they had to earn them. SHe didn't just give them away for the heck of it. Genbu turned his head from the block. He didn't really like treats, even when keira offered them. He was a very picky eater. "Yup. Psychic and Dark pokemon are powerful and useful to me." she said, her eyes never leaving the waves.
Keira wasn't a social person, so it was odd for her to ever attempt to converse with anyone. It was wasn't really how she was. "Hmph. Girls tend to go more towards espeon. But I like the darkness in umbreon." said Keira with a grin.
When the squirtle surfaced, Genbu quickly ran over to race off against the water pokemon He had the upper hand against it. Keira nodded to him as she pulled Esther back. The eevee protested but Keira just grinned. "You will get your chance Esther. Let Genbu take this one." she told the eevee who began to pout. "Genbu! Use Vine Whip!" she told him as he thrusted vines from his bulb at the water pokemon who was flung back into the water. He quickly jumped back out, running at bulbasaur with a tackle attack.Genbu dodged and went in for sleep powder, as the squirtle began to sway...calapsing on the deck as he fell asleep. Perfect! Keira used the chance to throw a pokeball at the sleeping pokemon...waiting to see if it would stay caught...her chocolate orbs watchign the shaking sphere.

Keira's comment about girls preferring Espeon made Akemi smile a little. Her preference wasn't just for looks. Espeon was a very strong Psychic type, and its speed gave it some advantage in battle as well. The girl simply wasn't as experienced with Dark types. "I like the fact that Psychic has the upper hand in almost any battle... with the exception of Dark and Steel, of course."
The young Grunt watched the other girl's battle intently, knowing she would've made the same choice of a Grass-type against a Squirtle.
Finally, when the pokéball was thrown, Akemi watched the swaying sphere with as much interest as the one that was attempting to catch the turtle pokémon.

Shaking...shaking...shaking...then...the shaking stop, the light fading out. Keira grinned as she bent down and picked up the pokeball. "Perfect. Good work." she said to Genbu as she tossed him a treat, the grass type catching it with a vine before eating it. Esther pouted, obviously feeling she would have been better then that dumb ugly green thing, and wanting the treat herself...and now she had to deal with another ugly bald pokemon on her team! Great! Esther didn't like ugly pokemon...
Keira put the ball away in her belt as she turned to the other girl and grinned. "Ah but dark can learn psychic attacks as well. And an umbreon can defeat an espeon." she said as she crossed her arms.

"That is true.." Akemi admitted with a nod. "But Dark types lack in Special Attack compared to Psychics, don't they? Their Psychic attacks wouldn't be as effective", she said, not wanting to argue but simply bringing up a valid point.
She smiled again. "And congrats on your Squirtle", she added sincerely, always finding it exciting to watch other people's battles.
Hikari was still sound asleep, and finally the girl decided to return the Charmeleon to its ball in a flash of red light. She would make it up to the stubborn Fire type later on, but for now it was easier like this.

"I suppose, but it seems more useful to me then espeon." said Keira as she clipped the pokeball with her new watertype to her belt as she tugged her fishing pole back, tieing the line to the pole as she turned to the girl.
"But you can do what you want, and I can do what I want. And I still am not certain which she will become yet anyways." she said as she turned to look at her eevee, who was happily wagging her tail at being noticed. She obviously got past her jealousy of Genbu getting to attack.
