What general sort of personality would you prefer, if you have a preference: Sun-Archer or Spearmen, Moon-Sorcerer? I think I could work with whatever, though.
Are there any particular backstory elements you'd like me to incorporate?: A skilled dancer who is well-trained in the traditional style of his homeland in Bukoku, but not nearly as Lucid as his mother had been hoping he would turn out (maybe he was adopted? or Mom just has unreasonable expectations?). So Mother sees to it that her young man is sent with a troupe of young dancers to Toukoku in hopes that the boy who is so pretty but not very sharp catches the eye of some woman in the capital with a taste for the "exotic"... preferably someone more important than he could ever hope to find back home.
Are there any backstory elements, such as abuse, trauma, or past crimes, that you would not be comfortable receiving?: Not that I can think of now, but I will be sure to make note if I think of any?

Appearance: Black clothes from head to toe. His family have raised "doesn't show stain" to an art form, and while their crafts are in brilliant colors, their clothes are uniformly dyed black, including enameling metal buckles black too. He wears simple woolen pants and a tunic, with black leather boots and belt. He also usually forgets to take off his leather apron. Generally messy, with rolled up sleeves and dirt, soot and misc. debris on him.

Personality: Quiet but knows his own opinion. Obviously the product of a very large family. Is very modest about his own talents. Prefers hard work and doing things with his hands to more intellectual pursuits, but don't be surprised if can see how something is put together after only a few moments study. Both lonely without his family around and enjoying being able to set his own course (even if he's usually lost )

History: A middle child of several kids, son of a potter and a jewelry maker, he was meant to join in the long family history of craftsmanship. Indeed, growing up, he studied under his relatives, learning pottery making, jewelry making, carpentry, quilting, tapestry,and other needlework crafts, as well as the basics of several other crafts his extended family works. It soon became apparent that while he was an average craftsman in all these fields, able to learn the basics and make passable crafts, there was no area in which he stood out particularly, aside from maybe making small wooden carvings from the trees around his home. When it came time for him to be formally apprenticed to one of his relatives, he instead left home on his own. He's been wandering around, trying different things, though inevitably he falls back on the one thing he is really good at - fixing the crafts other people have made and the tools other people use.

Talents: Wood carving, repairing all different sorts of crafts and tools.

Hair: Gray, usually put up in tight bun secured with several hair sticks.

Skin: Tanned and wrinkly surprised

Appearance: Mang is most definitely of Asian heritage, though of which culture exactly is impossible to say. She might be Chinese. She's usually donned several layers of silk robes, which may once have been of vibrant colors, but now they have faded with age - just as Mang herself, who is rumored to have been quite a beauty in her youth. For whenever that may have been. Her gray hair is usually put up into a straight bun, adorned and held into place with several hairsticks and/or combs. The jewelry she wears is usually made of jade.

Occupation: She owns a "pharmacy" of sorts, selling all kinds of "traditional medicine". Which, in this specific case, would include items such as dried snake skins, bat wings, rat tails, dragon bones, eyeballs of dubious origin, talismans and whathaveyou. The goods of her shop also include less intimidating items such as tea and incense.

Personality: Despite her doubtless high age she is not the least bit senile, on the contrary. She is mentally quite agile, often getting the better of her opponents when bartering for goods, selling for ridiculously high prices, and buying for low. Also, her age doesn't keep her from being interested in attractive young males at all. That old lady has her mind in the gutter. o.0

Talents: You. Do not. Want. To haggle with her. Not ever. You will get ripped off. Also, she has an extensive knowledge of, erh, "medicine", and also seems to be aware of people's special abilities and destinies occasionally.

Likes: Dogs, fried. Handsome young males.

Dislikes: Stingy customers who claim she's overpricing and refuse to buy anything. Foo! >(

Personality: Corwin can be a self-righteous S.O.B when the mood strikes him, but he usually tends to keep up a laid back persona. Not a man of many words, he tends to keep his mouth shut and his eyes open; preferring to observer rather than interact until he's acclimated himself to an area. When presented with a problem that seems beyond his depth of field Corwin will usually dive in and try his best to succeed even given high odds of failure.
