Boyan could SWEAR there was only one story to the udon-ya last time he visited. Granted, the structure in front of him is more like one-and-a-half stories, with the half-story being a partially erected framework, but this is, nonetheless, something that simply WAS NOT THERE before.
Ahh, those are simply more questions, more questions for the ever-growing list inside his mind. He would simply pencil it in behind "why is my kitchen accumulating space dirt?" and "Is it true that a duck's quack doesn't echo?"
For now, he'll focus on the mountain of questions that have been piling up for days. And rather than knocking (as if coming into physical contact with the udon-ya would cause it to come crashing to the ground), he projects the loudest, clearest greeting he can manage.
:B?

A projected greeting emerges not from the udon-ya but from the house across the street, behind Boyan -- a moment later, Setsushi, in faded Gaian clothes, emerges from the door. "Ah... Master Boyan?" He drops the hammer he was holding outside the doorstep and walks forward to meet him -- "How may I serve?"
Just after Setsushi steps out, a blond head is visible peering through the doorframe as well -- though it disappears again after a moment.

Boyan whirls around, bits of surprise projected like small globules of mud kicked up during a sudden rainstorm. gonk ?!
Oh!
Grandpa!
Boyan has been looking for him for a while now, did Grandpa know? Things had happened, the dirt under Grandpa's bed had been disturbed (but not by Boyan, he is clear to emphasize), and also Boyan had visited the Danish! --But it had raised more questions than they answered.
He was hoping Grandpa could help him?

Setsushi takes a moment to put together the various threads of thoughts from Boyan's projections, but he slowly nods. Yes -- he gathered that the Mist Sorcerer had been by... sweatdrop
And Boyan has been over, yes? Setsushi and Rika also visited... and they too are full of questions. Perhaps Boyan would like to come inside and have a bit of cold tea, and they can share their knowledge?
Though it will be a bit messy...

Boyan cares not for mess (as Setsushi is likely painfully aware).
But he does nod; it's best, he thinks, to share knowledge while he is able to absorb it. He thinks. Actually, he's not very sure... but he's been feeling so much clearer lately; so much more Boyan the family man than Boyan who draws on walls. So that's a good sign, right? 3nodding
Or, if Grandpa doesn't mind enjoying the weather, they can simply sit outside before the summer arrives. What does he think?

They could do that instead, yes -- perhaps in the little spot of shade next to the house? Setsushi will retrieve the drinks.
Before Setsushi re-emerges from the house, though, Rika appears -- dressed in faded Gaian clothes that are monstrously too big for her and, thus, just barely on the correct side of the decency line -- wiping her hands on a ragged towel. "Boyan," she says, nodding to him in greeting. "Did you have any revelations concerning the Silver World?"

Maybe, Boyan answers as he sits in the grass. Besides it not being the Silver World at all (which he thinks is old news)? Perhaps, maybe...
Well, maybe not.
Perhaps Rika would know where he could perhaps dig for more information? The one he thought would be able to help him turned out to be very little help at all, and Boyan felt so horribly foolish speaking to him or her? Even if he learned their perception of the Golden World was exactly what Grandpa had said of the Silver World--
Boyan thinks, perhaps, he has been collecting his puzzle pieces out of order.

As Setsushi returns with a cooler full of icy tea, Rika snags one, collapsing on the grass, and pops the can open as if the motion is already natural to her.
"Have you exhausted the Chaos?" Rika replies, gazing at him blankly.
"Perhaps Master Boyan lacks the background knowledge to interpret the sayings of the Chaos," Setsushi suggests gently, sitting down neatly at Rika's side.

Maybe a little of both, Boyan wonders? He tends to ask questions the Chaoses don't care to answer, though he does point out that they have begun explaining things so that he may more easily understand them. Toast and jelly, an the space bakery, for one.
--Is it even POSSIBLE to exhaust the chaoses?

"You're the Oracle; you'd know better than us," says Rika, before tipping back her tea.
Setsushi radiates slightly worried and apologetic feelings. But-- "How can we help?" he asks Boyan. "We have done a little research of our own, so perhaps it would be good to compare our notes..."

It is a shame, then, that Boyan has not been TAKING notes.
But he does remember what he has learned, at least, and he would be all too happy to share.
For instance, the Jinsui that has been taking care of his lovelybeautiful daughter, and the Jin that Shuuken seems to believe is evil? Boyan doesn't know if they are the same person or not, but he does know they are both scales of the Silver dragon. He doesn't know what that means, though, and he doesn't know how many scales there are as the chaoses themselves don't know.
And then there is the Silver World/Space Danish problem; the Jinsui that Boyan spoke with also mentioned it being the Silver World despite Boyan knowing better, and like he'd said earlier, sie referred to the Golden world in the same way that Grandpa referred to the Silver. As a land of the dead, or something like that? Not even particularly believing it to be real, either? It was the only part of the encounter that Boyan is really certain he understood.

Setsushi draws in his breath... then stops, and looks at Rika.
Rika finishes taking her swig, then answers Boyan, "The Silver Empress is referred to as a silver dragon in some myths. Sometimes they mean it literally... sometimes it's more metaphorical, the way the Empress is sometimes called a golden dragon.
"And the Silver World... is certainly real, or at least there is a plane in conjunction with the Golden World which many people call the 'Silver World.' I personally favor the theory that that world is a land of alien beings we call 'spirits' rather than spirits of the dead, however."
She ponders, stroking her chin. ... Then, she asks, "Did the Chaos say that it was this silver dragon or 'Jin' character who is bringing us to this world, Gaia?"

Boyan agrees the Silver World and Golden World are both real; the chaoses referred to them as two sides of the same toast. But the Silver World THEY are visiting is not the TRUE Silver World; more of a space danish, really. Same bakery, different cases.
And Boyan knows that the Silver Dragon is inviting them to the Space Danish, but... as to who is bringing Porcelain to Gaia? Boyan will have to ask...
...
Jin is bringing them to Gaia.

"... Jin, hmm." Rika ponders, chewing the inside of her cheek. "... And you say this is some sort of... collective being?"
Surely it can't be one person doing this to all of them -- there can't be a single mortal strong enough to do that. gonk
