Osaka Bomb I'm excited that the GiB is being really recognized like this. I'm..curious as to what kind of role the GiB will play in zOMG! For Durem!
Well... GiB's guarding the Stargate/Warp Portal (sorry, I'm new and don't have the terminology down yet), protecting the peace and preventing an interplanetary incident from taking place when the n00bs try to flood through to Zurg, aren't we?

I think geting Recognized like this is a Dual Edged Sword.
The Pros: We get puplicity, new members, awareness, we get to become part of the very things we're supposed to research xD
Cons: Nooblets joining just to be cool, Harder to enfoce standrads, possibly a bad rep (yet again)
BUT, on the whole i think having the double edged sword is better than having the Paper Towel we have now, nothing gained, nothing lost.
And i agree, we should make a public statement, perhaps near this NPC, That we're here, and that we weren't started in response to this.
((Can anyone give me the link to where the GIB are in the Alien Manga series? i can't seem to find it •_•

In my opinion, whoever has done something that would deserve elitism (doing something very few people have, having something very few people have, etc) has the right to be elitist, and whoever gets offended should stop crying about it. If you talked to a UFO/have a Grombie skin/were here during 03, I think you deserve to be able to brag.
It sounded much more intelligent/coherent in my head. neutral

... If we're so elitist, then we'll have a bad rep in no time once it's out. I mean, really, it'll be like the people calling the Grombies elitist a few weeks/months ago. 'Cept, we have both a Grombie for a leader, and GiB status. So it's gunna be one hell of a bumpy ride.
As for nublets joining to be cool, they can hop on the fagboat and ride off into the sun. The Crew would probably not even let them near the front gates, much less into our ranks.
