Susan stared blankly at the exchange of words between both guardians and then between the guardian and the boy. She winced slightly as the woman smacked the boy and put her hand on her head. Where on earth did Charles pick up this weird bunch?
Smiling nervously she gave a nod to the woman. "Yes, food does sound good. I suppose now would be lunchtime." She looked over to Charles who promptly made his way forwards, coming to rest just before the supers and the surrounding kids.

Charles had been surveying the scenes in front of him with growing unrest and uneasyness. When the Supers had to intervene, he just prayed things wouldn't get too much out of hand. One couldn't expect a courtyard filled with children with superpowers to just stay calm and relaxed.
He relaxed as he saw the tension between the children vanish. Only to tense up again when the guardians started fighting. He surpressed a moan as that too was quickly averted.
When Susan gave him that look he knew it was time for him to step in. So he walked over to the center of the courtyard and raised his voice.
"Alright everyone, now that you're all acquintanced it is time for lunch. Lunch will last about an hour. After that, the training sessions will commence."
He motioned towards the oak doors at the farthest end of the courtyard.
((Hey guys, do you wanna skip the actual lunch or continue to socialise/talk to/etc. Just PM the mule. ;D I'll lock the thread until I've gotten some of your replies. ;D Majority vote and all that. x3 ))

((Okay, we had one vote for lunch and the rest against. ;D So that was easy.))
After lunch was over and everyone had made their way into the central courtyard, it was time to move to the training area. You proceed to the other courtyard, the entrance to it is on the left, looking from how you entered the courtyard first. The tiled corridor is well-lit and halfway through the corridor, a guard is sitting on a chair, reading a book. It would seem weird were it not for Charles his explanation this place contained a door to the underground escape route with dangerous traps in place.
You end up in the second courtyard. This one was big and layered with tiles. You continue on your way inside where you end up in a large, well lit hall. The hall is so big that it can easily fit in several large houses. The back walls are lined with curtains behind which is equipment. There are doors placed, seemingly randomly, on the walls of the hall, which are lined with wooden benches. These doors lead to both changing rooms and various other rooms with specialised equipment. You would definitly not guess this would have been here judging from the size of the complex. Several of the walls have dents and holes in them, and more than a few burn holes.
Charles walked into the hall and turned around to meet the assembled group. "As you can see, this is our training hall. We use this place to train the Supers as well, so some things look rather... burned." He allowed himself a chuckle before continueing. "It is intended that we will have group trainings like this every once in a while. We have not yet decided on dates because we would like to see how you will handle yourself." Charles was smiling as he looked at the gathered children.
Thomas and Susan walked up to Charles and looked at the group as well. Thomas took charge and stepped forwards. "Well, we WERE supposed to have another superhero today, but since he's not here, we'll have to split up into slightly bigger groups, so just-..."
Thomas fell quiet and smirked. His gaze rested on the door for a few seconds when it crashed open and someone came rushing in.

He was late! So, so very late! He just knew that Charles was going to call him out on it. It would be a sigh and that "I know you can do better and I'm disappointed" look. Later he'd have to hear one of the many speeches. Hopefully he was early enough that he could hide behind the kids and avoid it all.
No such luck, he snuck into the room just as Thomas had made a comment about there not being a third trainer. He surpressed his urge to glare and roll his eyes and he smiled instead, though the guilt on his face wasn't quite swept away, "I'm here, sorry I'm late." He walked in confidently at least, and with an even voice, not loud or soft.
Andy McFadden, or Photon as the hero-world knew him, was a twenty-four year old circus performer. In the circus arena, he was known as Spark. To the agency, he was a reluctant recruit, but could at least be counted on in emergencies: even if he apparently didn't put much importance on nonemergency meetings, as was now being demonstrated by his tardiness. Maybe he was good at making cues though?
Andy avoided the eyes of the other supers, instead looking at the group of mix-matched kids. His smile became a little more genuine, the right side quirking up a little more than the left. Too early for him to tell what kind of audience they were, but that was his fault. The show had to go on though, and he'd play the part assigned to him.

Thomas was still smirking. He shot a look in Andy's direction and grinned evilly as if to say 'boy, you are in so much trouble.'
He cleared his throat and focused his attention on the kids again. "Everyone, this is Andy or Spar- I mean, Photon." He didn't finish his sentence because he was receiving a glare from both Andy and Charles. He didn't mind Andy too much, but Charles could get really nasty. He cleared his throat again and continued. "But anyway, training. We'll be dividing you kids up in teams of two. You will be put with Susan, Andy or myself and we're going to have a sparring match. We can give you some pointers and help out with your powers, if needed. This is just to see what you can do and how well you can work together with someone, even if you have never met them before."
His gaze went to each child as he called out their names. "Team one with Andy will be Megan and Malcolm. Team two with Susan will be Erol and Lorina and team three with myself will be Rachel and Raleigh."
"At your current level, you guys can not kill us yet, but you can hurt others with uncontrolled outbursts, so do your best to control what you can. For those of you with non-offensive powers, you will be relying mostly on your own speed and strength and later on, several weapons as well. So don't worry and just give it your best."
He shot a look at Charles, "Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, we have doctors and an entire medical squad on stand-by, just in case." He winked.
"So, if all you kids will move to the dressing room and get changed into one of our fancy training outfits and then come in here again, we can start. Try to hurry up. Girls are on the right, boys are on the left. And yes, we know the colors are horrible, but nobody gets overlooked that way. Safety first, eh?"
((Note, outfits are this model: Model and they can be in the following bright colors: Red, orange, blue, green and pink. Make sure to note the color, since I do plan on drawing several pictures of the nicer action scenes. Colors

Megan had reluctantly crawled out from under the bench when lunch had been called. She WAS kind of hungry... And Malcolm that had been talking to her didn't seem so bad, and her guardian was here...
Megan had silently eaten her lunch, practically sitting on top of AriyaLauna as she did so, casting quick glances at the other children, but for the most part avoiding any eye contact. She'd sat as far away from Charles and the supers as she possibly could, as well as from the girl with the purple hair and Raleigh with his weird dog-thing. She seemed to pull herself in the smallest thing she could as she ate. These people were weird, and the tension between some of them was obvious.
When Charles made the announcement that it was time to go to the training area, Megan tensed, and gave a pleading look to AriyaLauna. She didn't want to go. She didn't want anything to do with her powers or anyone else;s. She didn't want people to try to blow her up all over again. But something in Megan was defeated. She didn't throw a tantrum at the idea. Pride kept her from holding onto AriyaLauna's hand, but once again she walked in the very back of the group with her guardian, practically stepping on the woman's heels the whole way down.
It was when Thomas stood up and took charge that Megan balked and turned her back on the crowd, "I ain't gonna." she hissed as he spoke.
"You promised. Just one more time, and you won't be working with him. I promised that."
"I ain't got powers."
AriyaLauna raised an eyebrow at the girl, but that's when Andy rushed in. Megan had nearly jumped out of her skin when the door slammed open behind her and had swung around to face what was going on, already ready to run. After a second, her mouth dropped open in surprise, "Spark!"
"You know him?"
Megan nodded, eyes trailing the super, then tore away, "I hate him too."
"Oh, ok..." there'd been a moment of hope, and then it was dropped. Well, training would be a bust today.
When Thomas announced that Megan would be working with Andy, AriyaLauna knelt down beside Megan, "Hey, sweetie, maybe you can work with the nice lady instead, since you don't like... uh ... ok. Whatever you say." AriyaLauna squeezed Megan's shoulder. In response to AriyaLauna's suggestion, she'd shaken her head no. She'd work with Andy and Malcolm. They were only the worst, instead of the worstest ever.
"Go on and get dressed, Meggie.... Don't look at me that way, I'm not following you in there. They aren't gonna hurt you. It's ok... Go on."
Megan balled her fists, and then ran over, once again pride taking hold of her. She wasn't going to let AriyaLauna think she was a TOTAL sissy. 'Sides, she'd promised. And the quicker she got done, the quicker she'd never ever have to come back.

During lunch, Rachel had been mulling over the things that happened previously. The near fight that had broken out between the boys had frightened her. She didn't want people to fight. And what about that training session later on? She didn't feel comfortable at all. Not to mention seeing everyone at lunch sneaking glances at each other.
Arriving at the training hall, Rachel looked around in awe. This was something totally different from what they had at home. When Thomas read out the teams she felt relieved she was with Raleigh. She nudged Elvira, who bent over to listen to her. "I'm glad I'm with someone I know." she smiled nervously at her guardian. Elvira nodded and placed her hand on Rachels shoulder to comfort her.
When Thomas was finished with his explanation and the kids were moving towards the dressing room, Elvira gave Rachel a few last pointers. "Just... stay calm, okay? I know you can do this." She patted Rachel's head as the girl shot her a nervous look and started walking to the dressing rooms.
She came out quickly, sporting one of the blue suits and moved to Raleigh. "Hey." she sounded gloomy and shot an unhappy look in the direction of the happily chatting supers.

Malcolm had pretty much kept to himself during lunch, as had everybody else, and conversation had been limited. Elaine tried to be friendly, but nobody else seemed in the mood for that.
After they all finished eating, the group headed towards the training hall, which looked kind of like Malcolm's old gym at his school. He took a glance towards Rachel after the groups were called, a look of disappointment on his face, but she didn't see him. She looked happy to be with Raleigh, and that made him mad. Megan seemed horribly unhappy as well to be with him and that Andy guy; this didn't seem like it would be the best of days.
He threw on a blue training suit in the dressing room and then ran back into the room to Lonny, who was leaning against the wall, her arms crossed over her chest. She ruffled Malcolm's tossled hair and gave him a few words of encouragement. "You're gonna do awesome, hon. Beat 'er real good for me, kay?"

Lorina had eaten luch quickly, before trying to force the rest of Airaka's lunch down her throat, so the woman would atleast seem to listen to what she was saying.
She had clung on to Airaka, though, when they started moving again. As Thomas was speaking, Airaka continued silently, no matter how hard Lorina tried to talk with her. After a few minutes, her protesting became silent, so she could hear the end of the speech. Lorina clapped her hands when she heard the she would be paired with her friend (although she wasn't to happy she'd be working with "the lady"), and promised herself that she wouldn't let him down, even if that meant beating him. She shot Airaka a proud look, before racing over to the changing room.
Rushing back in a pink training outfit, she waved at Airaka, before going over to Erol.
"You ready?"

Erol had eatin his food quietly, never once looking at others as food was a primary thing in his life. He could feel some stares most coming from Raleigh but it was no concern to him, he had food in his belly.
Akila simply snorted at his table manners wondering where he'd learned such a thing since she herself hadn't taught him such rudeness. Rolling her eyes she eventually gave up giving him proper table etique.

After lunch everyone was piled into the training hall, Akila looking around rather animated as did Erol who was eager to get into swing of things. The former fight with Raleigh had all but completely slipped his mind as right now he was more concerned on learning more rather than showing off. Strange considering not too long ago he wanted to destroy the dog beast and the owner who made it.
Listening to the team line-up he was pleased to be with Lorina but overly annoyed at being with Susan. He didn't like the lady one bit for getting in his business when she shouldn't have.
Akila was quick to make a guess and knelt down to him. "Don't give her trouble, she could possibly teach you something." Erol frowned stuffing his hand in his pocket. It was then that Lorina came out of the dressing room with a pink suit.
Erol couldn't help but frown, the word pink and anything relating to it annoyed him. He didn't bother telling her that. "Yeah let me change..." He said waiving an irritated hand at her as he entered the dressing room.
He came out moments later sporting a blue suit, much to his dismay, he noticed one other boy had blue as well. Still he didn't mind it so much if he could have chosen his would be a lighter blue with black thrown in. Akila turned then to see her boy in his new outfit and arched a brow. "Aren't you gonna take those off?" She pointed to his biker gloves.
Erol looked at them smiling and fitted them in a gesture that told her no. "I like them. They complete my outfit even if these things are horrible on the eyes." Akila smirked shaking her head. Erol smirked as well heading over to Lorina where he leaned his arms on her shoulder. With a quick look her way then back in front of him he snorted, "This better not be boring." He commented eyeing Susan then managing to get a glimspe of Megan. He had to admit he had hoped to pair with her so he could talk to her again. After all he met her first.

Thomas clapped his hands upon seeing the two kids enter and nearly bounced with excitement. "Excellent, excellent! This way now, kids, we'll be training here in the middle." He waited for the two to follow him as he started off towards the center of the field.
Charles watched them all go off and turned towards the guardians. "Let us watch them from the side." He pointed towards the benches and stands against the walls, nearby enough for possible intervention or interaction, but on a safe distance for the effects of the powers used.
Grinning happily Thomas turned towards the two kids. He chuckled upon watching Raleigh's expression. "Hey, I said you could take your anger out during the training session, didn't I?" He shook his head but kept his eyes on the two children. "Alright, on to the lesson then." He rubbed his hands and bounced up and down for a moment. "Normally, you two would be aiming to take me out, or make sure I can't move and attack anymore. Since this is the first time you guys are actually in a fight, we'll be aiming on increasing all of your abilities. Of which the most important one will probably be to increase the speed of you both."
Thomas moved so quick that he vanished in a blur and landed behind both Rachel and Raleigh while letting one hand fall on their shoulders. "So, you two, just attack me and we'll go from there. I'll go easy on you two. Hehe." He winked and vanished again, re-appearing on his previous position. "Oh, and in battle, you two address me as Flashcharge... Ready? Aaand GO!"

Susan walked over to Erol and Lorina. "Okay you two, we'll be taking the left side of the field. Come on." They made their way over to the correct side of the field and Susan turned to face the two children. She smiled wrly at Erol. "Don't look so grumpy, you." She let out a sigh as her gaze flicked to Thomas before focusing on the boy again. "It was Thomas his idea, you know. He figured you could blow off some steam this way." She shook her head and scraped her throat.
"Well, on to training. It is our intention that you are eventually fully capable of using your powers. So, usually your objective during a training session like this would be to render me incapable of moving or just stripping me of my powers, or any of the sort. After you have managed this, the next stage will be taking on
each other. Since this is your first session, you two will just be using your powers while I watch how you do it and give you some pointers. You both have offensive powers and defensive power so the first strike should not be too much of a problem. Eventually we will be training to increase your abilities, most importantly your speed and strength." Now she giggled very uncharactaristically for her. "After all, how are you able to take them out if your punches can not hurt them."
She grinned mischieviously as her body tensed and her skin withdrew only to reveal a thick, dull armour. "Okay. Ready, set and... ATTACK!"

Andy nodded approvingly when he heard his group. He didn't know the boy, but he did know the little firecracker, and was glad to have her. She'd been such a sweet little girl. He looked over the group, once they began pairing off he could quickly identify Malcolm. He waved them on over toward the right side of the room.
As they walked over, Andy nodded and smiled at Megan, "Hey there, kiddo! Megan, Megan, the beauty of the group, eh?" Andy made a small spark. He'd been practicing for ages on making images, and now cracked a multi-colored flower image in front of the child, "Glad ta see ya again. And glad to meet you, Malcolm!" he waved to the boy, then took a breath in to start up on buisness.
"Ok, I need to see what stuff you're made out of. Ssssoooo, we're gonna start with simple attacks. I want ya to give me what you can. Don't worry about hurting me, I live with lions," he winked, "But when I say stop, you stop, alright? I can give you pointers to get better." he glanced over to the mid room, then winked again at the kids, "And let's do fantastic so we get along further than Flashy over there."
He stepped back, "So, let's go!"

Erol grumbled some more as Susan explained everything to him and Lorina. Part of him was listening another part was glaring across the way at Raleigh. He did still have it out for the boy but for now he would ignore it...maybe.
Returning his attentions to Susan, he watched a sheet of armor grow over her body which was rather impressive to say the least. He probably couldn't do much with his powers as she was now. But learning was half the battle. One thing Erol had learned from his former training and the commotion that had gotten started between him and Raleigh was that his powers were always on. It just took one spark of emotion from him to get them to the surface.
Right now that emotion was excitement. He'd grown excited throughout this meeting, talking to the other kids, arguing with Raleigh; hell even causing trouble with that ugly ceature. Now was the fun part. "So we just attack right?" He asked stepping forward. "Alright then...." A sudden rumble under his feet was the only warning of his powers surfacing as he reached out on hand and shot a burst of energy toward Susan. With no plan of action, it was easy to see he still had a lot to learn.
